Ill be going back. Perfectly nice experience. The place was clean, standard strip mall restaurant but a little nicer than standard.Greeted when I came in and gave my order. Itll be just a minute or two. I filled my water cup, turned around and he had my order ready in his hand. Very fast.I liked the teriyaki sauce they make, so got a little extra for my chicken and veggie bowl. Not strong or overpowering sauce but good flavor.All was piping hot, chicken was tender, cooked veggies had a slight crisp to them. Cant really think of anything more one could ask for.Plenty in the bowl, filled me up with a little more than I could eat. But I did anyways-

The employees up front are always friendly and the spicy teriyaki chicken is well-cut and has that grilled char to it. It’s FIRE or as they say “BUSSIN”Knocks flame broiler out of the water.

Ordered the orange chicken with yakisoba noodles and veggies as a combo for 3.99 which includes an egg roll and fountain drink. Total was about 18.00. Very good taste although it is a bit pricey

I have gone to the salinas ca location and also here in lake forest ca. I dont see how theres some negative reviews. FOOD IS BOMB.!! fresh and hot. What else can you ask for it keeps you full and honestly the food here gives me energy to go back to work. Happy tummy happy life.

My wife and I got addicted to The Madness when we lived in Vegas, and honestly its been hard to find a good alternative since we moved back to So Cal.Once this location showed up in Lake Forest we were ecstatic, yet skeptical. Safe to say after eating here a ton of times it is just an good, if not better than the locations in Vegas!In addition to the tasty, healthy food, the friendly owner and his wife are always here working hard and making sure the food comes out perfect. Whether you need a quick meal or are just craving some orange chicken or chicken teriyaki, look no further!

Its my first time. I have been wanting to go since they opened and I smelled the delicious grilled chicken from the main road and it didnt disappoint. I am eating the moist, tender and full of flavor delicious chicken right now as I am typing this! I already ate the crab Rangoons and it was a pleasant surprise, fried perfectly and not just full of cream cheese, they are extremely tasty. Next I will eat my noodles (Update: Noodles are dry and meh, but I do love the chicken and crab Rangoons!) My food was ready on time and HOT!!! Bravo Teriyaki Madness you have a new repeat and raving customer!

Was already relatively done with my food when I pulled this out … the steak wasn’t that great either . I was mostly just eating because it was my break and had no other choice but surprise ! Now I want to barf . :)

Known for their combo selections and chicken, this place is a great place to get quick food. The food was good and served hot and the restaurant was clean inside. The only thing is the food here is a little more expensive than other fast food places. However, they do have larger portions!

I have always wanted to try this place but find myself driving up the street to Yogis for my teriyaki chicken fix until today when I actually went in as I needed a battery from the battery store next door.I ordered a large chicken bowl and asked for light rice... that didnt happen... I still got way too much rice and way too little chicken. The quality was decent but the proportions were off big time.As I ate in the restaurant I couldnt help overhearing the manager/owner talking to some marketing person in a meeting about how to boost sales.Forgive me if its unwarranted but I have had a lot of teriyaki chicken and from a customers viewpoint if the manager is reading this I would like to give an opinion about boosting sales from a customers perspective:#1) include bigger portions of chicken I am talking like 10% more chicken would have left me content (especially when the sign on the window reads big portions.... it just lead to a big disappointment when that was not the case. .. and if it isnt possible to that, at least cut the the chicken into small pieces to give an impression that there is more chicken.... that would help!#2) Give bigger sides of teriyaki sauce and not those little tiny cups reserved for hot mustard at Chinese restaurants. I mean I needed like 4 or 5 those tiny little sample cups and wasnt able to completely cover my rice.... bigger sides of teriyaki make people who enjoy teriyaki come back.3) as a customer I want more options for fixings instead of just steamed veggies, especially for me like an option for green onions is standard at most teriyaki spots.... I did enjoy the steamed vegetables (I requested on the side) but I would have been content with scallions on top and paying extra for mixed veggies (if I wanted them).Sorry for the long message but the food isnt bad here its just not served correctly and no amount of marketing will help if customers like me dont care to come back on a normal basis.Hope this place finds its footing... it could be great instead of just barely average.

Customer service is awful. Food is ridiculously overpriced. If you are going to charge $11.00 for a teriyaki chicken bowl…try actually putting some chicken in the bowl. I basically paid $11.00 for a bowl of mushy brown rice.

Ok, so if youre going to try to cater to people with allergies then you should be properly training your staff on the ingredients.I came here to pick-up for a friend and noticed that the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl had a GF symbol by it. I asked if the soy sauce in the teriyaki sauce was gluten free to which the reply was a snobby Uh teriyaki sauce is always GF.I corrected them and let them know they were wrong, and they persisted that the sauce is indeed gluten free and I do NOT need to special order anything..I got a bowl and brought it home, but Im still skeptical so I called another location and asked if it is indeed gluten free....They did not know what I was talking about and had to ask management who explained that the teriyaki chicken bowl needs to be ordered without sauce in order to be Gluten Free!Im now hungry and out $10.44 because no server across TWO stores knew what they were talking about, and even Im still not sure if your house sauce is gluten free or not.Please train your staff better, because you can make a killing if you sold GF teriyaki chicken bowls 🤙

The food is delicious! The chicken was very juicy, cooked perfectly. The service was 10 out of 10. Ive been there on separate occasions and both the gentleman and womanbehind the counter were extremely gracious and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Went to get Chipotle next door but then found this gem. Right decision to go here! The food was delicious, great prices and one of the best Teriyaki bowls Ive ever had. The brown rice was fluffy and the vegetables were actually steamed with no oil on them (as opposed to many other places, like Panda Express).. chicken was delicious and not fatty (took thighs, not breast.Probably the best choice in terms of healthy food when eating out!On top of that, Hassan the owner was incredibly friendly and generous, which is the real reason why I am writing this review. Will be my main go-to place next time Im in the area.

Execution was lacking, rice mushy and beef had too much starch/sauce thickener. The solid flavors and generous portion sizes will keep this spot on the short list of quick family eateries. Lady cashier was super nice too.

First Timer, Teriyaki Madness, now on our to go place, as we had gone to another Bowl place which unfortunately had to close recently. BUT, the Chicken bowl with Vegetables and white rice was excellent in taste and not over cooked, including the rice. Everyone needs the teriyaki sauce and along with the marinated chicken we had, you actually get the extra cup of teriyaki sauce! Portions were great with the chicken and veggies, Ill try the steak or katsu next time...more than enough for lunch or as a dinner.

Pretty good place with a simple menu and selection of teriyaki-seasoned meats with your choice of base (rice/noodles/veggies). Everything tasted good and was presented well. If Im being honest I thought the large bowl would have more of the base ingredient. Also, the orange chicken was pretty dry and seemed under-coated in sauce.

This is the second time coming here. Im impressed with their food. Chicken and teriyaki sauce are the best for me. They have 4 different sizes to choose from, and I always go for the bigger size. Even my picky brother said to come here when bringing Asian food.- I like the workers, they are friendly and when its your first time they take the time to explain what they offer.

I love the chicken breast bowl (+added spicy). The spicy version is very nice for people who like some zing. Not crazy hot, So people who snack on habaneros may be disappointed, but a good level for the average spice connoisseur. Definitely too hot for people who are spice-averse (like my wife).

If I could, I would put one star as the review. Yelp had store hours open until 9pm, so the family went to place an order. The store hours were posted on a cheaply made sign and stated they close at 8:30pm. When I notified the employees about the discrepancy, the young female employee with an attitude said well the hours are different so we are closed. Extremely rude employees, with service like this they will be out of business soon. Don’t eat here.

Chicken Teriyaki is pretty good. I’ve been a couple times already. Was ready for some Katsu tonight but store was closed at 830. Posted that store is open until 9. Ah well should have gotten my rear in gear earlier. Four stars because good comfort food.

Came here because I had previously tried Teriyaki Madness in Utah and unfortunately this place was a let down. Not enough veggies, 2 pieces of broccoli and lots of onion. The meat was not well cut or trimmed. The pieces were huge and had lots of fat on them. The floors were sticky and bathroom was a little dirty too.

Love this place SO much! They have great quality food, super tasty, and fast! The facility is always clean and the employees very friendly. They also have a reward program on their app which helps cause I go like 2 a week. I started even bringing the coworkers to this place and the loved it!

You put Flame Broiler to SHAME!!!! Every time I eat their normal bowl, I am hungry afterwards....but not with you! Your regular bowl is literally 25% bigger. For a 210 pound weightlifter, that extra rice/protein/veggies goes a looooong way!
