Teriyaki Stop in Folsom

Ive never had this much chicken when ordering other places.I ate til I could take another bite & I still had enough for another meal.This is the specialTeriyaki Chicken3 pit sticksSalad RiceDrink$17.99100% worth every penny

The place was clean, and they gave a whole lot of chicken over the rice. So if you hungry its the place to go. Also, its right of the American River bike trail, so you can refuel your energy before getting back on the bike trail.

For $15, I expected a much better quality Thai chicken plate. Unfortunately, the chicken was so tough and chewy that I could only manage a few bites. The portion size was generous but what good is it when the quality is so horrible. I remember this place serving decent food in the past, but their standards have declined significantly since the pandemic. Im utterly disappointed and wont be returning.

Teriyaki chicken and rice are very good. Sushi was somewhat fishy. We ordered Dynamite and Spicy Tuna.The counter service was fine, no problem.For the price the rolls were sub par.

I paid 26.89 for the sesame chicken plate and a side of broccoli. It was the ABSOLUTELY worst meal Ive had in years. The chicken was overcooked/very dry, the broccoli undercooked and the rice was sour. I told them and asked for a refund, was told no, I had already eaten some of it. If Im going to pay $26 for a lunch meal, I have expectations. They failed in a huge way, I wont go back again, what a shame.

My visit here was nice and quick and easy but it is under a new name now its Teriyaki Stop but still has great items but prices are slightly higher and items are sold separately or unless your getting something like a Daily Special no Teriyaki & Rice w/ Sushi.Overall nice visit but wish there was great combos but its understandable that the prices of things are going up especially on fish and produce.

Name seems to have changed also to Teriyaki Stop [see my photo].My wife was craving tempura and this restaurant was recommended by Google Maps. She enjoyed the Tempura Combination Plate very much and said 4.5 stars. My Chicken Teriyaki Plate was average (3 stars); some chicken pieces were scorched, the salad was nondescript and the dressing nearly tasteless.

We went for lunch today after my sons jiu jitsu tournament. The service was the absolute best service Ive had in a VERY long time. The food was fresh and so good, portions were great. Wish I took a pic. Yummy

I was served a rancid spicy tuna roll that had probably gone bad. They said it may have been out a couple days, NOT A GOOD SIGN. I strongly recommend to not eat here! Even the tempura was a deep fried and soaking mess. (Tempura is supposed to be lightly fried) Heres a picture for reference. This place doesnt care about quality or flavor in any way. 98% of the food we got ended up in the trash and we still paid close to full price.

Overall the experience was enjoyable and the food was decent. I can recommend coming here for food if you are in the area.The prices of the meals are fairly cheap for most options with some of the other options being pretty expensive for the quality of the meal.The meat portion of the meal was tasty but lacked any real flavor or spice besides a smokey girl flavor. The teriyaki sauce that comes supplied helped, but the honey and spice did not come through at all.The salad was sad looking and not really a salad in my opinion, more of a garnishment. More lettuce would have been appreciated.The rice was pretty terrible. It tasted very cheap and the farther you went down the more mushy it became. At the very bottom of the plate the rice was so mushy that it became a singular patty.
