LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Every time we come, they are so friendly! Its usually a very small staff and empty inside as they offer a killer BOGO deal for sushi. They gave us a free sample of fish balls last time and it was so good. We also tried the Monkey Brain which is hands down my favorite appetizer of all time. We sit at the small bar and watch our rolls be made in front of us. Its super affordable, quick and friendly service. They offer a great selection of sushi, teriyaki, bento boxes, ramen and beer/sake. I would highly recommend if you are in the area. They have been open for many years and I can see them being open for many more!

My intention will not be to discriminate against other places. Everyone has a specialty, but I prefer this place because since this place gives you the confidence to be able to eat the food hygienically, in addition the employees have a very friendly way of communication, I recommend this place to enjoy with all your family and friends. Friends, you will not regret having attended, I invite you all, excellent place. 😍

Love it here! Its become one of my spots when Im out in that area. The Poke bowl is delicious and the Baked Salmon Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Alaskan Rolls are yummy!

I wouldnt recommend this place to my dog poor Customer service the owner Paul refused to give a first time potential customer a fork and basically called the police... might as well put a sign on your door that says No blacks but its kooo black people dont eat cat food any way if your scared of black people go back to China.

I had the spicy chicken bowl and a Sapporo beer. Delicious!! Really fresh and good flavor. The service was professional and fast. I am definitely going to come back and try other dishes.

I have never been here or heard of this place till my one of my friend works there and I gotta say their food is amazing. I ordered a couple of things on their menu and one of them was the Shrimp Crunch roll. Their sushi are pretty big compared to places Ive eaten. I had no problem with their food since Im not picky at all. It tasted like other sushi places but wa teriyaki sushi is pretty good in my opinion. Im not giving Wa Teriyaki a 5 star just bc my friend works here but the workers are actually nice and gave me what I ordered and I had no problem at all. So I recommend this place :).

Came through the shopping center thinking I was going to the chain restaurant next door. Good thing I didnt because this place is delicious! Dont be fooled by how it looks as the staff is very friendly. The prices are very affordable as they have there 2 chicken teriyaki bowls for $11!!! Times are tough and forget these small business need our help too but overall I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

This is the place for sushi, hands down., I just live across the street perfect for my convenience as well as for their large menu., My wife & kids always love their tempura shrimp, never over cooked or taste like they never change their oil, always fresh like it should be. This Family owned business have been their for years., I lived and been going their since 2013 and will continue to go their awesome atmosphere Thank You

The baked lobster roll didnt contain any lobster. Just a lot of crawfish tails. It wasnt good, was super greasy, I kinda expected lobster. They cheaped out. I liked the monkey brains tho. They were good.

Tried this place as I was in the area on the way home and ordered a 10pc sushi set and a cilantro roll. The cilantro roll was great for the first few pieces and half way through the shrimp on the inside of the roll had a weird texture. As for the sushi set the rice was sub par and the fish was disappointing. The tuna that came with the sushi set had an off taste so I threw out one piece. One of the salmon pieces also had an off taste. Definitely not worth the $40 and I would recommend going somewhere else. I was also the only person in the restaurant (bad sign) and still had to wait a while for one roll and the 10pc sushi. It is disappointing how the food quality is bad because the staff was friendly.

So pleasantly surprised! You could tell the chefs put lots of love and care into the food. The employees were extremely welcoming and attentive and treated customers with great care and respect. Great food, great service. Cant wait to go back!

The lunch specials are the best, 10 bucks for a teriyaki bowl and roll!!!!!!!!, place is very clean, friendly staff, food is fresh fresh, rice is fluffy no sticky, they even use the round smooth chop stick s not the ruff cheap splintery kind!!!

Small sushi place with pretty good sushi as well as teriyaki combos & staff are extremely friendly. Im almost always getting takeout & the service is always fast. While Im waiting I always observe the same quick & friendly service given to the dine in customers.Buy one get one 1/2 half off makes it an affordable lunch spot.

If you want affordable sushi with great service and fresh fish, please give this place a try. Wife and I had bento boxes and added a roll it was great portions and great flavor. The tempura was the only thing that didnt quite do it for me otherwise great new place to try.

This place has excellent sushi, the restaurant is not very big, but its nice, clean & the food is the bomb. Definitely recommend this place, they serve more then just sushi in case your not a sushi lover.

Ive been hesitant to go since theyve replaced Maki Yaki but I must say that theyve definitely upgraded. I usually get Togo but whenever Im waiting they offer me water,soda, or tea. Food is great and service is excellent as well. Making it a regular spot

I really miss this place I use to come here with my son at least a couple times a month Im originally from OC but at the time was living in L.A. so whenever I came to OC Id make sure to take a trip to get my fav sushi the firecracker roll now I live in Nor Cal and really miss this place we have yet to find a sushi place here in town that we like as much as Wa Terriaki and sushi the ppl here are delightful and always happy to serve you

I have been here previously to enjoy their sashimi combo with fresh, generous slices of tuna and salmon. Their combination bento box is a meal that I highly recommend. Choose the number and type of entrées to suit your tastes. It is accompanied by salad and miso soup. I tried the appetizer of fried gyoza, six pieces with a dipping sauce. It is a nice accompaniment to the Udon noodle soup that followed. I ordered it with shrimp that was served on the side so that the tempura coating does not become soggy in the broth. This was another good meal. WA Teriyaki and Sushi is now my go-to spot after errands here in Stanton. Do try it if you are in the area. The sushi chef and servers are welcoming and friendly.
