Just North of 10 & near to a bunch of shops.10 chargers but cant tell which 2 are the 72kw. Waited about 5-10 mins on a Wednesday around 4pm. In lot next to it theres about 20 that will probably be 250kw so faster charging & less wait times in the future.Its 1st Super charger after Stateline in Ehrenberg, AZ about 100 miles away, so understandably busy. Tesla map had it as having wait times pretty much all day.Only rocks or shrubs in nearby lot area for dogs to potty.Subway, Necter Juice & Waba are directly across. In same mini mall is pizza, poke, sushi & waffle spots. Most had outdoor seating. Across the bigger lot is Five Below, Marshalls, Ulta, Burlington etc.It can get crazy windy so please be mindful of trash...keep it classy Tesla owners :)

(Update below)8 super chargers at this location, 2 temporary 72kw chargers. Another 8 more superchargers being installed soon. Within walking distance is waba grill, Nekter juice bar, Subway, Chevron, 5 Below, Marshalls, Burlington Coat Factory, WinCo, Home Depot. Starbucks restrooms nearby (door code: 143)Update** There are now approximately 40 superchargers at this location, most of which were added mid 2023.

A good available option at this SC - choice of charging speeds 250kW, 150kW, and 72kW. Pick the charger that gives you the time you need.Good shopping, good choice of food, all within a short walking distance.

Plenty of food options nearby (Subway, Waba Grill, Nekter, to name a few). The current row of 10 is sufficient but there could be a wait of 10-15 minutes during busy times. Pictured below are the new stalls! Should be really useful once in operation. Will be 5 stars soon!

Ill give it 5 stars when they open more supercharge stalls. When I went I had to wait 30 minutes to charge which I was not used to and it made me even more mad to see wrapped stalls right next to the chargers.

Visited at around 7.22 pm on Tuesday. Plenty of Tesla Superchargers was available and also a very low 31 cent/kw did a 44kwh to full charge and for a 46 min stop.This is the first supercharger after Ehrenburg AZ (100 miles and in CA crossing state borders and Chiriaco summit)Chevron and Subway is close by and both had restroomsThere are lot of food options in half a mile vicinity in the mall.One food option is drop passengers or drive through one of the places. Get food and drive to charging and eat there.Charge rates were phenomenal 450 mph charge rates parked adjacent to a vehicle.Couple of pointers1) Trashes were full and overflowing2) Consider Restrooms, some shade and benches to stretcn

This is one of the most convenient super chargers I’ve been to. You are able to charge up and go shopping in the meantime or go grab a bite to eat. If I’m coming back from this area again, I will definitely stop to charge here.

See update. Right off of the freeway, lots of options for fast food, next to an atm. But rarely available anymore because theres only 10 chargers. Pick an odd hour to charge here if you are a regular. Theyve had extra chargers built for months now, but wont release them for people to use. The unspoken Tesla etiquette is also not here because there are a lot of transients who use this charger. People litter and thrash this perfectly situated charging station.UPDATE! Garbage cans and extra chargers finally available for use! Thanks TESLA! Now theres superchargers available with less wait time. Also...Theres a massage place, Nail place, Starbucks Wetzels Pretzels all walking distance

Good place to charge. There are multiple choices around. most of time, I stop here for thirty minutes, and the local stores are very convenient and closed.One interesting thing is, here is always windy. Dont forget to close your windows to avoid dust.

It’s a supercharger station with about 10 chargers. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for a spot to open but since all the units were occupied, the charge definitely takes longer. There appears to be a couple of vehicles that aren’t occupied so I don’t know if the vehicle is sitting with a full charge or what. There are daytime options for food and shopping, including Starbucks and Subway.

Great charging station. Used 4b and it went as high as 300 mph for my X.A few empty spots when we arrived, but one car waiting when we left. At 2:00 on a Friday.Lots of quick service restaurants around. A nice place for a break on the drive to/from Phoenix to La.

The Tesla Supercharger in Quartzsite AZ has recently been upgraded with the addition of about 30 new charging stalls. They are the new 150 KW versions and they work great. We were last there on a Monday afternoon and the entire site was empty for the first 15 minutes. Way to go Tesla.

Nice and easy location to find, several spots to eat, and use the restroom nearby.However stall 2a would not connect. And at 11% power after the mountains best charge rate I got 103 kw not the show 150kw.On my way back ever stall was pack but one working stall, but it was only charging at 20 kw. So projected 2.5 hours. And every stall was open. So clearly tesla need to start rolling out some more stations.Some stall are pull in, others are backup. Not sure what the deal is with the finale two stalls.

Terrible supercharging station. I frequent this location as well as many others. It consistently has slow charging when no one else is around and there are ALWAYS 2 or 3 chargers out of order and you are forced to back in several different stalls until one works. They really need to address this issue. Very inefficient and is a hassle to have no other option but to use this location.

It’s okay, I believe since they closed the Palm Springs one this is always full. We came here during memorial weekend and it was full and there was a line of about 5 cars in front of us. There was one charging station not working and it took us about 20min wait time to charge our car. If we knew this was going to happened, maybe we would have taken our gas car instead. Traveling with a toddler in the car and just waiting too much is not worth it. They need to open a charging location in Palm Springs.

8/15/2020 update - 2 or 3 broken chargers and SUPER SLOW CHARGING! 23kW charging speed in this high traffic area is insanity. If I didnt have SR+ M3 I would have driven straight to Cabazon from Quartzsite. Tesla this location needs some attention immediately!7/11/2020 - I had to try 3 chargers before I got proper charging speeds with no other Teslas in sight. Closest restrooms in the Chevron station were out of order causing me to have to charge and drive further down the road to a different gas station to locate a restroom. 3 stars

Indio charger is nice! Very easy access and limited parking lot traffic makes it easy to back in. This one is much better than Cabazon. There arent many chargers but it was not crazy busy so in out quick. There is also plenty of food options around. Will be using this one as a primary stop between LA bad PHX.

Hello. I did charge at Indio Supercharger in morning and afternoon on a Friday with hardly any cars at the spot. I have a Model Y and the morning session charged at about 57 kWh (against Max 72 kWh capacity at station). The afternoon session at 3:15 PM was horrible, many tesla owners were switching stations as none of them were getting a good charging speed. I was initially getting about 40 kWh, which dropped to 7 kWh at times. I also noted that there was a Model owner who was frustrated as well. The moment he disconnected his vehicle and while he was changing supercharger stall, my charge rate went as high as 80 kWh and as soon as he started charging ( a few stations away from me), my rate fell down to 40 kWh and sometimes even dipping to 7 kWh. This location is very unreliable and Tesla must do something about it.
