Thai Dishes is my favorite Thai restaurant in Redondo Beach. Delicious food, nice service, good hot sauces, and reasonable prices.Duck is flavorful and not too fatty.Silver noodles with shrimp were tasty (although noodles were maybe slightly over cooked).BBQ chicken was tasty and moist.

My partner and I were visiting from Texas for my jiujitsu tournament. After a long day of grappling, all my heart desires is Thai food. We googled places and happily walked to this delightful hole in the wall sort of place.It is exquisite. The best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life and I am quite a picky eater. I’ve been a personal chef for many years, and I am an avid foodie. This is authentic, delicious, and affordable. California is about 5-7 dollars more expensive on meals, but this place is absolute perfection without the crazy price tag.The owner was delightful and hospitable. He spoke with us our visit, and really made it such a unique and enjoyable experience. I love meeting new people and trying new food. The ONLY regret I have at this restaurant is not taking some Togo for me to eat on the plane 😂. 15/10. Order it now. We will come back to visit family and my first stop will be this wonderful place.

I would of took more photos but everything we got looked so delicious we just ate it right away! This was my Duck salad and It was amazing 👏 😋 we also got a spicy beef salad the shrimp thai and for dessert sticky rice with mango. Theres no picture of the sticky rice with mango because it was devoured upon arrival but it was amazing! It was our first time here but we are coming back! It was clean and there was plenty of parking and no crazy wait, friendly staff 5/5

Oh my gosh I came with my friends while in town to visit and the dinner and lunch combos are such a bang for your buck. If you like spicy food then don’t worry to order hot. It’s the perfect heat. The service was quick and friendly.

Went to Thai Dishes for the second time, a week after my first time because it was so delicious! The staff is very kind and the food is amazing! The price is also very affordable as they do have a number of lunch and dinner specials to order from!

We walked into an empty restaurant. One other guest. The older gentleman server (maybe owner) saw our service dog and said we weren’t welcome to eat there. My wife expressed that’s not legal per ADA and he doubled down. No wonder it’s empty in there. Terrible attitude and obviously discriminatory.

Delicious! Stayed at the hotel beside the restaurant the night before a cruise and ate here twice. Every dish was amazing! Best Thai tea weve ever had. Spring rolls were delicious. Hubby loved pumpkin curry and i enjoyed Pad mai koo. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Truly enjoyed every bite and would return if ever visiting the area. Very reasonable priced generous portions.

A group of us were cycling from Canada to Mexico. We stayed at the motel next door to the restaurant. Not wanting to go far to find a restaurant we tried Thai Dishes. What a find. Willie the owner/host/jack of all trades was wonderful. But. more importantly, the food and service was superb. The best place we ate during the entire 24 day trip.

I have only amazing things to say about this establishment! First of all, the owners are so kind and thoughtful. They truly go above and beyond to accommodate their customers, and the customer service is absolutely top notch. The prices are extremely affordable, and my fiancé and I usually buy 2-3 meals extra to heat up for leftovers. The food is fresh, tasty, and they always happily accommodate our veggie diet. Lastly, the delivery is SO FAST. I literally place an order and it arrives within 20-25 minutes. If you are looking for a delicious and well-deserving local business to support, please choose Thai Dishes! The food is yummy and they are the sweetest people. :)

This place was is right next to where I’m staying (Redondo Inn and Suites). There is nothing like motel life and Thai food. Fortunately for us, this place is authentic and flavorful. I am very discerning with Thai food because I’ve lived in Thailand and the only difference here is that they have a storefront and portions are bigger. Food taste is the same!The owners are incredibly nice! And the prices are super affordable. More than anywhere in LA for sure. The quality of the food is fantastic, and my go-to is pad see ew. Delicious flat noodles stir fried with sweet soy sauce with egg and your choice of protein.I highly recommend!

Tonight we celebrated my aunts 80th birthday. A friend recommended Thai Dishes Redondo Beach. I dont know when Ive had a delivery dinner (or any dinner, really) that was so good. We ordered coconut chicken soup, Pad Thai, spicy Thai fried rice, and Kang Ped Curry. I cannot say enough how wonderful each of the entrees were. The soup had a strong and tangy galengal-lime-lemongrass flavor, offset with the sweetness of the coconut. It is hard to say which was better: the pad thai with a mildly peanut vinegar idea, or the curry* which was utterly complex yet light with notes of basil and cilantro in a sweet coconut broth. (*Note - the curry does not come with rice, so be sure to order some.) Willie, who I think may be the owner, delivered the food himself. He also took the order, and customized the order for our party readily and happily.For example we asked for no mushrooms in the soup - Sure!Can every item be mild? - of course!Could you add egg to the spicy Thai fried rice? Sounds good!He is very personable and friendly. This restaurant could shut down all other Thai food places around, if people only knew. Ive lived here all my life, and this was my first time. Check it out, for sure!

Best place we ate on our whole vacation! We went to quite a few places, I was surprised that the restaurant right in our hotel would be our favorite. The food was authentic and delicious! Very fresh tasting, you could tell they put a lot of pride in it! ...the chicken noodle salad (not sure what the official name was) and the coconut ice cream are the best!

My first Thai food experience was at the Thai Dishes up on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica way back in the 80s. Still one of the best that restaurants in Los Angeles County. This one in Redondo Beach has amazing food and a very friendly and accommodating wait staff. I cant wait to go back!

Honestly not sure how this place is reviewed so well. I suppose if you havent had Thai food, this might be okay. But if you have had Thai food and are craving it, youll still be craving the flavors after eating here. Bland, none of the curries or noodles had flavor. Even the papaya salad was bland...Im used to papaya salad with lime and spice... The liquid on their papaya salad tastes like water. It may have had a slight hint of lime, but definitely no spice.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant around here in terms of flavors, fresh dishes, quiet ambience, price, size of dishes, and price. It feels like places in Thailand. Its friendly. You can eat with friends, family, a friend, or eat alone and read or chat. Its comfortable. Go in for a leisurely meal and order as you go. The food is carefully prepared so take your time and enjoy it. Me? I try chicken curry everywhere. Here? Delish. I dont know HOW this place has such good reviews. I ordered the chow mein, chicken satay, and Mongolian beef through GrubHub. NOTHING had any flavor! It was bland as could be, the chicken was dry, the beef was so tough you could barely chew it, and the noodles were undercooked and also bland. Everything was just terrible. Then, on top of everything, when we checked in with GrubHub to let them know our dissatisfaction, the person in charge (not naming names) basically said he wanted to know exactly what was wrong because he couldnt believe that everything was bad. Let me be clear: the food was inedible. We threw everything away. Thank goodness GrubHub was kind enough to give us a small credit, because these people have no idea what good cooking is OR what good customer service is.
