Wonderful restaurant. I ordered the fried rice and I was delicious.Many in my party of 12 were also happy with their dishes. The owner was our server and was great the entire night.

For a Thai restaurant kind of in the middle of nowhere, this place is awesome! We stopped here in the middle of our road trip and we’re very surprised to find a highly rated Thai place. The papaya salad is pretty nice, although it could be a bit spicier and flavorful. The shrimp lover’s noodles seemed more like a Chinese fried noodle dish, but it was satisfying considering how hungry we were. And finally, we LOVED the pork noodle soup - it was very authentic, was packed with flavors, and was perfect for a cold night!Service is very quick and polite!

Although they are advertised as a Thai place, it is more of an Asian fusion place with many Chinese offerings.Im a big fan of Thai food and was really looking forward to some tasty Thai food when I came to Thai Hachapi. Although the food was well prepared, it unfortunately was pretty bland. I asked for spicy level 4 (out of 5) and could not taste any spice whatsoever.The chicken satay was tender and delicious. The peanut sauce was not spicy either, but did have an interesting fruity undertone that made up for it.All in all, I would not go back here.

This place continues to deliver both in high quality food and service. The atmosphere could use a little improvement, the air conditioner always seems set to freezing, but everything else is right on the money. They provide decent size portions for a very fair price. I cannot resist ordering their Duck Noodle Soup and Chicken Pad Thai. Both were tasty and made me so glad we came. They have reasonably priced asian beers, which are always a pleasure on a Friday evening. I definitely recommend this place for great Thai Food.

Stopped by here en route to Santa Barbara. Cute lil spot in downtown Tehachapi. Aptly named THAIHACHAPI......so clever!I ordered the beef salad previously and that was amazing. Decided to try their pad Thai and that was equally amazing. The water is amazing as well.Plenty of free parking in the front and the staff are always so welcoming. Will definitely be back

Asked for chow mein no veggies, THIS is what they gave me! So GROSS, and mushy!! Had no flavor AT ALL!! Do not recommend this at all!!

It’s our go-to Thai restaurant in Tehachapi. Been coming here for years. The food is really good, the workers owners are great.The last few times we’ve been here they seemed understaffed though. I’m not sure if that’s a cost savings measure or what. There’s usually one dedicated waiter/waitress handling 12 or so tables. Seems like they really need two waitstaff. Takes a long time to order, get served, and pay for food.I’ll still love coming here.

Took a while for the food to come out. They seem to struggle with serving between takeaway and in-person dining customers. Compared with other Thai restaurants in big cities, the food is average. But considering the towns small population and remoteness, it is better than what I expected.

The crab wonton appetizer, first off, is my must-have to start when visiting. Heck, may even just order double and have some chow mein or rice with it. Delicious. The quality of the food has been great. Nice, attentive staff. The crab noodle dish was another superb choice. Working my way through the menu still. Worth the visit.

Family and I have eaten here many times over the last 2 years and have always had very good meals. So happy that there is one of the best Thai places in Tehachapi. We have tried most of the menu, all is good, and they let you add or subtract things. We will be coming offen. Love it!
