This little quaint spot was amazing. We were in Palm Springs for a girls getaway and wanted Thai food one night. We stumbled upon this little restaurant not too far from our resort and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, the server was attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed his banter and company. One of my friends had been to Bangkok several times and made a special request that was not on the menu and they made the entree for us. The food came fast and it was all delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone in the Palm Springs/Indio area and will certainly visit again myself the next time I visit Indio.

For quite some time, I had been eager to try Pork Belly Thai style. I had hoped that when the moment finally arrived, it wouldnt disappoint me. Well, let me tell you, my experience at Hot Thai exceeded my expectations! The pork belly dish was incredibly delicious, and I was particularly impressed by the presentation and portion sizes. The meal was so satisfying that Im already looking forward to enjoying the leftovers with ample room in my belly.

Ok, definitely the best Panang curry I’ve had in quite some time. They actually made it spicy as I asked which rarely happens and they do have a spice rack so you can make it more spicy as I did! The reason for the four stars instead of five are because the booths were very uncomfortable, and while the serving dish is very pretty, I almost knocked over about five times because it was very wobbly. Also, the portion sizes are definitely on the smaller side but the curry itself was definitely a 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our first time here as we were driving down from Joshua Tree National Park. Food was delicious- Tom kah vegetable soup, sweet and sour stir fried shrimp, ginger chicken, and blue royal tea($53). The servers were really nice and service was fast. It’s a bit noisy in there, but it means it’s great food!

I’m experienced with Thai food and have eaten it in various parts around Southern California and even in Thailand. While there are variations on this cuisine one fact remains the same for all Thai food establishments: the food has to be well spiced and not overly sweetened. The food at Thai Hot is very poorly prepared. It lacks seasoning and makes up for that with an excessive amount of sugar. I’m not sure where they got their recipes but this is NOT Thai food! I and my partner’s ate there and each had a disappointing meal and coconut juices.The food was repulsive and the total was excessive. We paid over $70 for our two meals and the coconut juices. I highly recommend you find another place to eat instead of throwing your money away here.

Only open for a few months and this new Thai place is a must try! So much choices on the menu and we had six from it that were sooooo good! The soft shell crab one is my fave! Friendly staff and service is fast. Will def visit again even its a long drive from Palm Springs.

I recently reviewed Thai Hot and gave it rave reviews. After eating there over a period of 8 months unfortunately the quality has dropped somewhat. I agree with one poster that there is too much sugar in the dishes. The food should be served family style and staggered. We ordered 5 dishes for 3 people. All the dishes came at once so no room to maneuver on the table. You are expected to eat off a plate the size of a bread plate at most restaurants. Three times now, the Chicken Satay(appetizer) came after half the meal was finished and it was so dry it was not worth eating. The Satay sauce and Cucumber relish were non existent. I could nitpick other things but I really want this place to succeed. Thai Hot needs a manager who can get it on track again.Oh! Twice now our dishes were all brought to us with no serving utensils. Not an oversight, you are expected to serve yourself with your personal fork and spoon!

Listen up! If youve been to BKK, and have eaten the real real well this place hits all 360 flavors. What an amazing find that did not disappoint. The owner is fresh serving up Thai food that is just as fresh. We had pork larb, papaya salad, tod mon pla grai, steamed sea bass, red curry duck, and of course thai ice tea. Cant wait to come eat again.

Today was our first time eating here for my husband and I, and our food was really tasty, we both got lunch specials and were pretty full by the end of eating. Our server was very nice and patient and she recommended us the Thai iced tea which was sweet and very good 👍 will definitely be coming back.Edit 06/26/22Weve been coming here now every weekend and really enjoy the chicken cashew stir fry and always get the Thai iced tea 😋

This is a legit northern Thai restaurant. I am so happy that I stopped at this location for dinner. Are the pad see ew and it was flavorful and great portion size too. Server was friendly and the food came fast. The only thing I did not like so much was how much the mango juice cost compared to the amount I got. Wish the glass was bigger for that price. Other than that, it was an amazing experience with great legitimate Thai food.

What a wonderful meal. I HIGHLY recommend. The fresh rolls were excellent - very fresh produce. Ive tried a lot of Panang curries from many thai restaurants and Thai Hots was superb - again very fresh produce and the chicken was very tender. There wasnt a dish we ordered that was anything less that excellent. The service was top-notch as well - the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. If I lived in the area I would put this in the weekly rotation for sure!

Ive been to many good Thai food places in and around Los Angeles but I never thought this place would top them all. Indio residents - you have a true gem in your backyard. I would drive the 100 miles to eat here again. We ordered the pad Thai and Jasmin rice. They were very flavorful. It was only 2 of us, otherwise we would have ordered more. I feel fortunate to have found this place. Our hostess Alicia was great too. Prices were great too

From the moment you walk in, you should know that you are in for a real treat and royal family service. This is not Thai street food. The chef has spent over a year building an atmosphere that is authentic Thai. The food is elevated, flavorful and plentiful. How amazing it is to see a chef that takes advantage of all the fresh produce and products that the valley has to offer. Food is a bit overpriced considering what you get. I had gotten Thai style steak and it was so fatty almost raw and lacked flavor. The dim sum is not worth it and you get way less than is on the picture on the menu. I really wanted to like this place but it was very disappointing.

This restaurant was one of the best Thai places I’ve had! It definitely has high quality food and excellent service. We had plates like Pad See Yu, Yellow Curry, Chicken Fried Rice, and many others. So, so good! We found Thai Hot as we were looking for khao soi (Northern Thai noodle soup), and they are the only ones to have it in the Coachella Valley. As someone who has traveled to Thailand at least 30 times, I can be a bit picky with my curry, Their green curry had a rich color and depth of flavor, and wasnt made bland by too much coconut milk. Weve been trying to find authentic Thai in the desert, and this is definitely it! They dont have their liquor license yet, but were happy to let us bring in our own bottle of wine. Go give Thai Hot a try- especially if you like authentic Northern Thai cuisine! We will definitely be back.

Holy moly this is the best Thai in the valley. I just tried this restaurant for the first time and fell in love. I ordered the Massaman chicken and this is the best! The chicken is moist and juicy, the veggies are cooked perfectly and the sauce is outstanding. I am coming back to eat my way through their menu. I am Massaman, panang, and thin ka Gai soup kinda gal but the have a Pumpkin curry and a pineapple curry that look delicious. Also need to try their Pad Thai. Despite all the glowing reviews, we found the food to be mediocre at best. The eggrolls were tasteless, the chicken wings were just fried chicken, not Thai in any way. The Pad Thai was gummy and bland, although we asked for spicy. Service was excellent, the restaurant is clean and charming, but the prices are ridiculous. 2 appies and one pad Thai and it was 50 bucks. Not going back.
