A nice little mom and pop restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Food was authentic, tasty, and awesome, as was the service. Portions were good and lots of vegetarian options. We wiped every dish clean, and all of the dishes were returned as below.

We went to Thai Hut on our trip . It has a nice simple homely feel. The food feels like home cooked food. The lady taking orders and serving us was very sweet and understood our food restrictions well and made sure it was as per our taste. The service is fast and good.The portion sizes are large so we had quite a few leftovers. I just have a suggestion that it will be great if they serve the food in simple ceramic plates as we do not eat warm food in plastic utensils. I recommend this place to try .

This place looked closed but it is definitely open! It feels like entering my own living room at home. She gave us free Thai iced tea while we were waiting and she is so nice. She packaged our large order in a neat, double taped and secure box, perfect for transportation. Owned by a small family. Really amazing and fresh pad see ew. I’m sorry but this has to be the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. The sad part is the couple who run this place are super friendly. I paid for an order to go and got very small portion sizes for the food and was instantly disappointed. When I opened my rice container I found a small eyebrow hair. The chicken quality that was used in the entrees was the worst quality meat and ruined the whole meal. On top of that the menu said it was spicy and both entrees I got had no spice whatsoever. I would not return here. This place had such great ratings and I’m trying to figure out if maybe I went on an off day but that still beside the fact that the food was such a waste of money.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! We ordered takeout for thanksgiving dinner thinking they didn’t have indoor seating, but they welcomed us into their restaurant and provided phenomenal service. Plus, the food was delicious. We got the pad Thai, pad sew ewe, papaya salad, and fresh coconut drink. Everything was fantastic!

We stopped by here on our way north to San Francisco. It’s a small, unassuming place but it’s got great Thai food! We have a vegetarian in our party and they had a separate vegetarian menu and were very accommodating. The hostess was very nice and helpful. We ordered the Tom yum which was fragrant and delicious, and the vegetarian red curry was incredible. We also got the veggie fried rice and cashew chili stir fry, which were both great. The portions here are very generous; we had a lot of leftovers we couldn’t take with us unfortunately. But a great place to share food. They didn’t have fortune cookies but instead gave us 3 Oreos which I thought was cute (I don’t like fortune cookies). Definitely try this place out whether you’re a local or just passing through!

Very confused by the high ratings. Pad Thai tasted like it was in some weird tomato sauce. Drunken noodles didn’t have any sauce and the veggies were so over cooked. The sweet and sour sauce that came with the appetizer was literally hot pink. Can’t comment on dine-in but I don’t recommend takeout

I stopped by with friends, and I was so enchanted with this little business. They are absolutely delightful. Very attentive and customer oriented small family owned business. The vibe was like eating at grandma’s house, it as so cozy and so warm and welcoming!A sweet little old lady got our orders, and let me tell you, not once took a note from anyone, but knew exactly who ordered what! And I mean, not just our table of 6 ppl, but the rest too. It was so heart warming to see family members buzz around constantly, making sure everyone was happy, refilling glasses before we knew we needed it, so truly top notch and very customer oriented.Great location too, right on the corner, plenty parking, good amount of space inside, and fabulous food.I had the Combination Fried Rice, we had several soups, curry, everyone was rolling their eyes. Trust me!! Don’t judge by the outer look of this simple restaurant. The food here is superb. You’ll love it for sure!! :) We had vegetarian food and it was so good with it’s authentic Thai taste here. The old grand ma here served us and she is so sweet. Hugs to her :)

I was a bit hesitant about the exterior poor looks of this restaurant, but I was proven entirely wrong with the service and food from here. The lady who served us was extremely friendly, clearly knew what we wanted and gave us a feeling of having food from a relative or friends house. I never had such great hospitality in my memories, they were not at all artificial. The food was very tasty, great quality and good quantity. We tried yellow curry, pineapple fried rice, pad see ew chicken and sticky rice - everything was simply tasty and awesome. I strongly suggest anyone visiting this place to try this place.

Stumbled across this little place while driving through town. Has great reviews and the servers were absolutely amazing! Servers alone and the bay view would totally be 5/5 stars. The only thing keeping my review at 4 is that the curry seemed a little more runny/watery than I prefer which made the curry a little less flavorful. All of the patrons were older white folks, which is fine, but it goes to show who they cater to/serve most frequently and likely base their recipes off of for taste. I really loved the workers so I feel bad for only giving 4 stars but I wish it was a little more authentic

Thai hut is an amazing restaurant that exceeded our expectations. We were on a road trip needed a good place to eat. It was off highway 101 in Santa Maria, California. When we entered we found it to be a very comfortable place. The owners were one of the most friendliest that we have ever encountered. One of the owners who helped us, greeted us warmly and showed us to our seats. He was very polite and always had a smile on his face.The food came pretty quickly and it was incredible. We ordered vegetable red curry and it was amazing. It was truly an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this place. We would love to come again.

I went to Thai Hut Restaurant with my family, and it was the first time my parents were eating Thai, so obviously, I wanted them to love it (I myself am a big fan of Thai food). The place was just perfect and all of us loved the food and the service. The lady who was serving and managing the cash counter simultaneously, was really sweet.The decor and food both were amazing. The place is a family owned restaurant and serves authentic Thai food. They have some great vegetarian options as well.

We enjoyed our vegetable curry and pork noodle dish. Very good food for reasonable prices. The owners were really friendly. Our dessert was home made coconut ice cream and mango, also amazing! Seating was pretty basic but it was just a cute small thai restaurant and excellent if you just want to eat a really tasty meal. I lived in Santa Maria for a year for school and frequented Thai Hut while there. Tu always remembered myself and fellow students. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I loved the Pad Thai and friends enjoyed the soups! I am already missing this place!

My sister and I were in dire need for some tasty Thai food and Thai Hut hit the spot! We ordered the Thai eggs rolls, shrimp fried rice, chicken pad thai and an array of tempura vegetables. Of course, we ordered too much food and took the rest to-go and it was still tasty the next day. The older hostess/ waitress was so kind and friendly, that her hospitality alone made this an enjoyable meal for us. Also, dont be thrown off by the out-dated decor, it only adds to the authentic flavor. I recommend you stop by!

It will take time to get your food, but itll be worth the wait. Amazing flavors. I shared soup, rice and the chicken with cashews. I asked for extra veggies in the chicken dish. This has been one of my favorites for the past 20 years. Even after moving away I still try to come here every time I visit home! The pad woonsen (crystal noodles) is the best I can find, and I try ordering it at every Thai place I visit in the Bay Area! Amazing food and great atmosphere. Very unassuming building but the pearl is in the inside. It looks odd from outside. It seems they have converted a house into a restaurant. We were not sure of going inside and trying food but we reached there around 8pm and almost all other restaurants were closing soon. I must say I am glad that i went ahead and tried their food. I’ve been to many different Thai food restaurants and there’s nothing like this place it’s a piece of heaven, the owners are so amazing and kind. I’ve been eating at the Thai Hut for years now since my teenage years. My husband and I always make time to eat at the Thai hut at least for two meals if we visit for a week, I highly recommend it! the food is amazing and the owners of this restaurant are incredible people.

I was driving by on a road trip with my family and saw this place on the map. We decided to drop by. The building looked a little strange from outside, but was pretty welcoming inside-both because of the layout with decorations and the the lady that welcomed us was very nice. What a quaint little spot. Literally down the street from my girlfriends house, and we were greeted by a sweet lady who remembers my girlfriend quite well (evident by how much she loves the food). Calming atmosphere with a medium fish tank in the corner, some nice decorations and plants to give some life to the place. No music, but I am pretty sure I heard a fountain pouring... Food is excellent, the pad Thai was exquisite! Combination fried race was a MOUNTAIN. If youre in the mood for Thai, hit this spot up!

Started going here once every few weeks for curry as it is the closest place besides SLO for curry. Not only is the curry delicious but so are the other things from the menu like the Thai Hut shrimp and tempura veggies. Moreover the staff is extremely hospitable serving sweet chai tea while we waited (we have only ordered take out so far but the establishment itself is very cozy). I highly recommend especially since we will continue to go to Thai Hut for a fix of some great Thai food.

A small, family run restaurant, Thai Hut has great food. It is on the outskirts of Santa Maria as you head to Orcutt. The food is good and authentic. There is no comparison to the downtown Thai place where you food is horrific with an atmosphere to match. Definitely worth the extra distance. I give this place a 2 because the couple was very nice and friendly. Also, the appetizers were good. We ordered a special for that day which was Pork Spare Ribs with herbs. I told him I wanted the BBQ Ribs Special so he brought a plate of Ribs that resembled the McRib from McDonalds with BBQ Sauce on top. I took one bite. It tasted like ground beef on a bone with Dollar Store BBQ Sauce. The special didnt say anything about BBQ Sauce. I might have thrown him off by saying BBQ Ribs because we had a bit of a language barrier so I will give him that benefit of the doubt.
