I love coming here to eat. Great food, awesome service. I normally order their Tom Yum soup. Today I ordered Thai Boat Noodles soup. Its a little spicy, good portion of beef to noodles ratio. The broth is very delicious and savory.

Nice spot, was able to get a table quickly. Spice level was much lower than expected. Would of expected better food with the amount of awards it has. Still overall good, but wouldnt go back. Unsure of what type of alcohol was in the margarita.

Got the red curry with tofu. It was good and the service was great. The workers were friendly. I tend to choose Thai spicy for my spice level and I’m beginning to wonder if most Thai restaurants don’t think I can handle it so they make it less spicy haha. If that was the Thai spicy level then I would have needed quite a few more chilis!

Best pork Pad Thai Ive ever had! Not hot n spicy at all, but very flavorful and large portion. Yummy Thai tea. Highly recommend. Outdoor and indoor dining options too... I took a star off because the price per item was a few dollars more than the other thai places I go to. It was so good that it was worth the price though.

We had such a nice dinner with delicious Thai food. But I put one start because of their manager. After we paid our dinner he came to us with a question - Do we have a problem? He approached us in an extremely aggressive manner. My husband even asked back, what the manager meant, because nothing had happened. And the manager meant that the tips were less than 15%. He claimed that it’s a must to pay greater tips if we want to dine in next time. By the way, no word about that in the receipt. It says only “gratuity suggestion”. Also, the manager made an offensive comment that we are not from this city because we did not tip in the way he wanted. It’s rude. At the end of the conversation he threw the money on the table and said that we could take the money back. Wow! What a confrontation was created in a couple of minutes!!!It’s the very first and last time we spent time at this restaurant due to such a horrible management service. The manager wanted to have more tips for the servant but left her without any tips at all because of rude approach to customers. Be aware that your evening can be easily spoiled by this manager.If he speaks that way with customers, I can only imagine how he treats his employees……

Experienced NONE of the service complaints. Came on a Weds afternoon, just in time for happy hour. One server, but it wasn’t overly busy and he handled everyone attentively. We got a couple HH appetizers (spring rolls & edamame) and a draft beer and the Yuzu drop - all tasty. Got the tofu Pad Thai to split - was flavorful and seemed fresh.

Hmmm. Not sure where to begin. (About the food read below).One of the worst experiences at a restaurant. I’m not one to only review a negative experience.The staff was incredibly rude from the moment we walk in the door. Had reservations a week in advance and upon entry, we were denied and delayed for 30 minutes.One of the waitresses came with two of our appetizers and decided to only leave one while serving the other to another table. 1-hour wait for appetizers.Nobody came to bring utensils, eating dishes, and no topping of our water glasses.We had a slight spill on the table, I got up and asked a waitress if I could have napkins and I was told from her “I am on break”. I understand you’re on break but to give the cold shoulder and not even point to where I can find napkins is wrong.The staff was all angry to the point it made us uncomfortable to eat the food.About the food - four plates of curry and all the food was cold, the dishes were miraculously hot which tells me they microwave the food. Not fresh food here.The chicken had not been cut into pieces, a lot of connecting tissues and fat.A fly in my sons drink.My daughter showed a piece of hair in her food but we are hoping it was from us.Two of us did not get there food (3-hours in).When confronting the staff throughout the dinner, we were met with a hostile waitress telling us “what you want to do, you no want to eat food”.Pro: the cold curry I had, had a decent flavor to it but the anger in the food is not something I would go back for seconds. So this place is a hard DO NOT DINE for me and the family.If you do decide to eat here, I wish you the best of luck.

Poor service, Great food. I had drunken noodles with chicken. It was spicy as expected and very delicious. My father had sweet n sour chicken with rice. His was very good as well. We both had a small salad that came with it. He said his tea was very good and it was just regular iced tea. We were very pleased with the food. The service was not good. And it wasnt just 1 waitress because we had 2 helping us and both were slightly rude. It started when we walked in and someone said hello. I looked around to say hello back as I stood by the wait to be seated sign. Then came another hello but loud and rude. I found her this time back behind the bar so I smiled and said hello. She said sit wherever you like so as we walked to sit where we like she then told us where to sit. She seemed impatient with all our questions about the menu. The place was almost empty. After we got our food my father asked for a cup of extra sweet n sour sauce. We later asked for soy sauce. She turned around and then turned back to us and said, Is there anything else? Her voice was not pleasant. My father and I decided we had a little food left and could probable fit both of our dishes in one box so its easier to carry as we walked on main. So when she came we asked her for one box and she said 1 or 2? We said 1 bc we would share. So, she brought us 1 box. I did not realize it would be a tiny cube box. So feeling bad and not wanting to make her run around I went to the counter and explained that I was sorry and I had no clue the boxes were so small and needed another one. She then looked at me and said thats why I asked you if you needed 1 or 2. Again, her voice wasnt pleasant. She could have just told me our boxes are very small or brought us 2 anyways. Well, sorry to make the waitresses work at a full sit down restraunt. I suggest these ladies are kinder to their customers. My father and I were both in from another state for a funeral because his mother passed away and were trying to have a moment to talk at the beach and dinner. Did not appreciate the rudeness at this restraunt.

Ordered Pineapple fried rice and potstickers, dry and seems that they are a day old. Pineapple fried rice has only two tiny pieces of pineapple. Potsticker is dried, seems to be fried since yesterday. Called the restaurant, explained that we have been ordering for quite sometime and never complained before.The lady on the phone asked for us to bring the dried old food back in order for her to replace it. I told her I’m not coming back there because I’m tired. She offered to bring it only if we give the old dried food back.Her concern was not that the food was bad. She only was concern about getting the dried out food back.Not ordering from here anymore.

SHADY. For 2 reasons. Im sick so I decide some soup is best. I order a cup to go which is listed as $6 on the menu. I arrive and the bill is a flat $7 with no indication of tax or anything. Im sick so I dont think much of it until I cant help but contemplate that its not possible to be $7 with any sort of tax rate. Shady instance #1Thereafter, I order lunch to-go. I arrive and the bill is over $11 even though the posted price is $8.95. I say something and she says the prices changed. I pulled the to-go menu off the shelf where the regular menus are (of which I relied upon to take my to go order) and show her the price stated. She says the prices are subject to change (interesting, what is the point of a menu if you can indiscriminately change prices?!). I ask her where thats stated and she hands me off to another woman who promptly returns with a receipt with the correct price. So, lesson here is they will charge you incorrectly unless you catch them. Super shady and will not return. I also did try to pay with a valid American Express gift card which I was told was rejected by their system even though there was money enough on there. Additionally, no management or owner around to discuss this with. Bonus was no one discarded the so-called incorrect menus.

Curry was good, everything else was REALLY REALLY bad. Not sure what they served me but in the picture you can see a pork rib that must have been re-heated from 3 days ago it was so hard. I would be utterly ashamed and embarrassed to serve this to anybody. I paid $14.99 plus tax and tip for this sorry excuse that was days old and inedible. The pad thai chicken was almost as bad. The fried tofu was not good and lacked flavor. The shrimp skewers (or prawn) were lifeless and disgusting. I was charged for 2 mango sticky rice that was not delivered. For a $100+ order, this was probably the most disappointing meal I had the pleasure of disliking. It was AWEFUL!

Came in with my family for an early dinner and took advantage of the happy hour to order a delicious calamari. It was very tender and my dad likes their sweet and tangy dipping sauce.We ordered pad thai (nice chewiness to their noodles), panang curry (nice lemongrass flavor), and cashew stir fried chicken. One of the worst service and server I had all my 65 years. My wife and I ordered 2 Phat Thai and waited almost 20 minutes. (We were the first customers at the restaurant) Finally we got one not two, server told us the other is coming soon but I waited 5 minutes and went to the server, he was taking a order from another customer. And again he said it’s coming. I got upset and told him to cancel the order but he brought it anyway. He almost threw the dish on the table…. Of course I told him I didn’t want it. The attitude of the server was so terrible. I will never go back to this place again, ever.

I dont know what has happened to this place. Wait staff has attitude and food has gone down hill. We had pad Thai and it was very greasy and we both got sick from it afterwards. It tasted like it was coated in cheap oil. Horrible .... Last time I was there before yesterday my food came after the other people at my table had eaten most of theirs. Its sad because the food use to be fresh and good before they were shut down by health department for health violations.

Overall, the food was pretty good. My partner ordered the spicy fried rice and asked for it to be spicy, but said it wasnt quite spicy enough, so we figured maybe next time hell have to ask for Thai spicy. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and it was good. I didnt particularly enjoy the romaine at the bottom of the dish, but Ill just ask for it without that if I order again. We also got the sweet sticky rice, which was also good. The mango was fresh! All the portions were fine--not too big, not too small. Water glasses were refilled promptly, and there were at least 8 or 9 runners, bussers, and servers around. We arrived before the rush, but I could see there being a pretty full house during peak hours. Well be returning again to try more of their dishes!

This restaurant is very popular with both locals and tourists. When you go inside, the atmosphere is really lively, and the aroma of Thai cuisine is fantastic . The service is great, but the food is excellent. We ordered lettuce wraps, the Seafood Special, and grilled ginger chicken strips. It was high quality food, but only $9 to $15 a dish. This is more surprising when you consider the location. You can have a romantic dinner, but the tables are close together.

Although theres a sign up sheet to reserve ones spot, it wasnt honored. I had to go up to the hostess and ask for a table for my husband and I as two other parties who didnt sign in were seated before us.Our dinner was delicious overall but a bit on the pricey side. I’ve been eating here for the better part of a decade and the food quality has gone way down. The last few times I’ve ordered it’s been worse and worse. This time I ordered some Tom Yum and the soup literally had zero taste. I was confused and thought maybe it had been watered down or something. Zero flavor. Tried to add lime juice and some fish sauce to give it a little flavor, ended up throwing it out. No lemongrass or keffir lime or Galagal flavoring at all.

Really just not that great. Service was slow and inattentive/sloppy, didnt provide napkins until requested and not enough utensils for eating and serving ourselves with sharing platters. The food is also not particularly exciting. We had 4 appetizers and three different mains, none of which were particularly interesting. Not awful, but not packing much flavor either - itll fill your stomach, but thats about it. Id go elsewhere for Thai, e.g. Manaow Thai for their street food/small dishes in particular, or Thai District for their curries/noodle dishes. One bonus star for the location on the main street in Seal Beach, otherwise this is a 1/5.

Had a late lunch after a day on the beach. Had happy hour wine and beer. Excellent meals. I had chicken pad Thai and the husband had a spicy cashew chicken stir fry with brown rice. He love it! I am a fan of any type of Asian food. I love flavour and spice. My meal had lots of flavour and tones of chicken. We would definitely go back. We started with the Shrimp Spring rolls, which we thought were actually crispy spring rolls, they are called Salad rolls where we come from, but they were still a nice starter. Upon further inspection of the menu, they did have the spring rolls but they were called crispy egg rolls. Bill with 2 glasses of happy hour wine and a beer, happy hour appatizer and 2 entrees was just about $60. We thought this was pretty good for great quality food and good service.Check this place out, definitely a nice change from Mexican or American fair that you will find in abundance on the beach.

Tuesdays are Thai Tuesdays and if you wear a tie, you get half off appetizers and wine. Also, theres some awesome live music by Pat so definitely come in on a Tuesday.This was my first time here with friends and we had a blast just hanging out, listening to music, singing, and enjoying some amazing food.Parking along the main strip can be cumbersome but we managed to grab a spot right up front and by the door! Thats the luckiest Ive ever gotten with parking.Service was good - constant refills and attention. I started the night with a Thai iced tea which was well balanced and we all ended up ordering the Pad Thai which is something I always get when Im at Thai restaurant I havent been to before. What a disappointment! The food was edible, but better fare and more flavorful can be had for half the price at any Asian buffet. The calamari was pre-frozen, not fresh. The soups and main dishes (chicken and beef) bland, this after asking for spicy. I love Thai food, previous reviews were favorable. I can only imagine that these were from folks who do not know Asian cuisine, and in particular Thai which generally is a delicious blend of spices and coconut, full of flavor and exciting to the palate. We chose this restaurant hoping to find a Thai restaurant close to where we live in Seal Beach, but now know we must travel a little further to find the tastes and preparation we have come to expect in Thai cuisine. I would not recommend....this is a place that survives because it is in a tourist destination where the transients are most likely just looking for a quick eat.. I stand by the review.

Thai on Main is my favorite Thai food in the area. I come here a lot and its always delicious. My favorite dishes are the pad Thai, pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, and yellow curry. My experience of Thai restaurants is always particular because I used to live in Thailand and know the cuisine quite well. Here I spoke to the waitress in detail to find out where the cook was from so I could order something from that region and I ordered the dish from the Northeast which is ground chicken with ground roasted rice served with fresh vegetables and lots of spicing hot Thai chili. In English its called Lop. The dish was served with sticky rice and is just as good as anything I got 30 years ago in that region of Thailand. So in short for The Expatriate from Thailand to this is extremely authentic food if you know what to order. Thats the only dish I tried and can speak on, but the overall experience is absolutely wonderful and you can hear people speaking Thai even though the owner is not Thai. Just a fantastic place with authentic fresh and delicious Thai food. Thats something thats very difficult to find in Southern California even though there are many presumably Thai restaurants.

I really love the tom kha gai and the pad thai here. The Waitresses are really friendly and very helpful. Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait because this place is so delicious. You have to try the blanket shrimp appetizer and the shrimp wontons. All the food Ive had there has been especially flavorful. The owners are really nice and they also speak French. That was fun for me to be able to practice

Ordered a specific Nigori unfiltered sake and its always served in an unopened bottle at all other establishments. This was in an open carafe like they use for hot sake, so you are unable to shake it (unfiltered Nigori sake settles and needs to be shaken), not to mention you had no idea which one you were being served...
