A very nice place for Thai food, food was good, I have had better Thai. I didn’t find the staff super nice and friendly, just did their job. We ordered Yellow curry, which was very sweet, hence kids loved it. You might want to tell specifically if you want it to be very sweet or less. The Thai Basil was good too, but again nothing out of the world. Hence I rate them 4. Expect them to do better, they have a nice place but compared to the price food is not upto the mark.

The food was good and servers friendly. We ordered the yellow curry with prawns...NOT prawns. We ended up paying $5 extra bucks for 5 small shrimps. Will NEVER do that again as those tiny shrimps did nothing to add to the taste. All in all it was a nice restaurant and we enjoyed the food.

So, I can’t believe I haven’t given this place the full review, so here it goes.I have been going to Thai Paradise for years (before they had the expanded dining area). It has become a staple place that serves some of the best food in the area. A fact that hasn’t gone unnoticed by the numerous awards displayed.Whenever you visit, you start off your meal with a complimentary green salad with the best peanut dressing you’ve ever had. Like, it’s stupid simple, but amazing taste.I’ve tried many dishes here, but my hands down favorite is the Spicy Fried Rice with Chicken. The rice is so flavorful, the veggies so fresh and cooked to perfection. The chicken… it’s so darn good. I have to be honest, I don’t actually eat much food at a sitting… so I usually take home my leftovers. This makes my visits to Thai Paradise even better, because I get to eat it for a day or two after.The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is consistent, the food… spot on! I love this place and I highly recommend it.

Great Thai spot used to be our first choice for Thai. After a long time, I got to visit with my friends.Ambiance and service were great.I ordered drunken noodles with shrimp, and friends ordered the spicy fried rice and tofu drunken noodles, beef drunken noodles, and tofu red curry.Noodles were on the dry side and bit saucier than usual. The flavor was ok. The best choice of the night was tofu veggie red curry.

Absolutely amazing! Our first time visiting. Within one minute of being seated we were given a delicious small salad. Peanut salad dressing that was so fresh.We ordered yellow curry with chicken and rice on the side which we mix in to soak up the curry sauce. We commented several times on our way home how delicious it was and can’t wait to go back. I also had the Thai iced tea - amazing! A very tall beautiful glass and I drank it all.

Our first time here because it was my wifes birthday, and shes been craving for some Thai food. The atmosphere and service were good. Definitely love the salad. It was delicious. The only thing I have to say is the crab fried rice. Although it was delicious, it was missing the main ingredient; crab itself. I didnt see or couldnt taste the crab in the fried rice. Not only that, the chicken pad thai was bitter. We just packed it to go after 2 bite of it.

I really like the restaurant and visit from time to time. The food is really good, excellent service and great ambiance. It is really large, well decorated with artifacts from Thailand, and great place to host large get-togethers. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of free parking. Prices were really good until recently when they all went up significantly.

Its a nice Thai restaurant. I specifically review for vegetarian food. Its got good amount of choices for vegetarians. The ambience is relaxing and pleasant (nothing exotic). The food is quite good, reasonably priced and the service is good too. I would recommend for family outing or with casual group of friends for a good meal in a quiet setting.

Best Thai place I’ve been to in a very long time!The Angel wings were lipsmacking good! Their drunken noodles are not too thick or saucy.. very well done and tasty!Their service is outstanding. I had a mishap happen where I dropped my drink and they were sweet enough not to make me feel bad about it and even brought me a whole new drink!Quality of food and service 10/10

Let me start with the fact that Im not a huge fan of Thai, although my wife is. But she deserved this, so here we are. It was good. I had the thai bbq ribs, she had the drunken noodles. Both were good. But the reason for this review was really for the fried bananas with mango ice cream. They were the BOMB! i will come back here anytime just for this. One star taken off because wifes water glass was dirty. Oh, well be back.

This place is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to in the area. We came to dinner at 6:15 and were immediately seated. We beat the rush because 30 minutes later the line was put the door!We ordered cucumber salad, spring rolls and yellow Thai Curry. Every item was fresh and delicious.The staff is always polite and courteous and even though it was very busy, we were well attended to.This is definitely a favorite place to visit when we are in the mood for Thai food.

Best Spicy Fried Rice ever had, the rice taste so good, has a hint of black pepper in it and we added cashews to itEven the starter salad they give with peanut dressing is great ( it has eggs in it, so if you’re vegan get some another dressing)The Thai Iced Tea was super, it was refillable but was so full couldn’t refill once!The silver cauldron is the tomyum soup with fire in the center, we added tofu and veggies. It tastes sweet-sour which was amazing in taste!Do try spicy fried rice and the tomyum soup, we also had curry but was so full at that point that we had to do To-Go

The best Thai food Ive had in Folsom. A ton of Vegetarian friendly options. Great service! They accomodate customization requests which is always a plus point. Friendly and warm staff.Personal favorites: Spicy fried rice, Tom yum soup with Tofu, Thai iced coffee, Pad ka prao. The food was good. Ive had better at Thai Ruen in Roseville. Service was really lacking. Our server went to the table next to us three times and never even looked at us. The food here is delicious. I have been trying find a good Thai restaurant in the area and this one is super yummy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We got the fried egg rolls, iced coffee, lemongrass chicken and green curry chicken. Everything had a nice flavor to it. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is going down hills. food quality the last couple times wasnt the best dining experience. today ordered papaya salad, drunken noodles, and Thai basil. drunken noodles dish, the noodles itself has been consistently dry and flavorless the last few times we ordered, and the beef tastes like jerky, not fresh for sure. thai basil with chicken was just ok, ingredients did not pop. the papaya salad at least has been consistent, but no need to drown with the prepared fish sauce. pre covid, easily 4.5, but sadly these days, 3 stars is generous.

Revisted Thai Paradise after 12 or 13 years. Used to be a date spot before the boy was born. He too is now a fan. Service and food was excellent. Hot tip: You can ask for a full menu during lunch hours. Since we hadnt been in a while we didnt know the program. We almost walked out on the lunch menu. So glad we didnt. All our flavorfull favorites were availble. Yee-haw!

I havent had such great Thai food in a long time!The Thai fried rice, citrus chicken (this was gone quick!), cashew nut chicken, chow mein, and pad see ew were enough to feed 7 travelers for dinner and more breakfast. This is the most tasteless Thai food I have ever had. I am so sorry for Folsom this is not Thai. Tonight I ordered Eggplant with tofu, it’s supposed to be spicy and flavorful it just tastes like the wok. The drunken noodles are even worse as my expectations for a flavor bomb in my mouth, what you get is brown grilled gravy, only the red bell peppers are tasty. This is the worst $50 I have ever spent.The saddest thing is they are doing a killing business the orders are flying out the door.

We went here for dinner, around 7pm. The restaurant is very big. It has lots of indoor seatings and some outdoor seatings. We were seated right away and saw lots of tables were occupied.We ordered pas thai with chicken, pineapple curry with tofu, and eggplant delight with chicken.- Pad thai with chicken: delicious! Noodle was cooked perfectly. The sauce was good. Lots of chicken pieces and the portion was good.- Pineapple curry with tofu: interesting curry, not bad. Had lots of tofu pieces and pineapple chunks (that brought sweetness & brightness in the dish). The soup was tasty and slightly sweet- Eggplant delight with chicken: spicy but good! The eggplant pieces were soft enough but not soggy. The other vegetables were cooked perfectly (still has some crisp).Overall, the food & the portion were good. We (3 adults & 1 kid) ordered 3 entrees & 2 steamed rice and we had leftover! Definitely will come back to try different items

This place is wonderful. If I could, I would eat here ALL THE TIME. Everything on the menu is good and it became custom in my house to order something new every time. This time I ordered the spicy fried rice with prawns medium spice. It was soooo spicy, but so good. Afterwords we got the sticky mango rice for dessert and I could just eat that, if I could. The most delicious and ripe mangos, paired with sweet sticky rice frosted in God knows what but its really rich and delicious.

Be very careful if you have a peanut allergy! I told my server of my allergy, ordered a safe curry dish then was served a salad with a peanut based dressing. Found yet another quality date night destination. Thai Paradise has a pretty impresive menu of Thai cuisine. Everything we tried was very good. They have a good selection of wines and beers. The staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. And, the place is bigger than expected with indoor and outdoor seating. We only just tried Thai Paradise for the first time a few months back. We had been ordering from other Thai restaurants in the area and were relatively content with all aspects of each business. I had heard good things about this place, but never tried it. We decided to give it a try one night, and much to our delight, weve been back a few times since. Weve only had take out, so i cant talk to in-house dinning. Everything weve tried has been delicious. The flavor profiles are incredible for each of the curry styles. The vegetables and proteins are cooked to perfection 99% of the time. (No bodys perfect) The only drawback we have is that some times the wait for take out is an hour or longer. Knowing what were about to get, the wait is well worth it. So keep in mind what time you want to eat, and place your order accordingly.

We have been going to this place for years and it never disappoints. We love getting the yellow curry and Pad Thai as our go to, but I have other dishes I have tried here to be equally good. Lunch menu offered with smaller portions for a discount price. If you want to pick it up, better allow extra time as they are usually slammed at the normal dinner time.

Lovely food! I am super happy that this spot has the very well-loved angel wings! Not many places offer this dish so I was very pleasantly surprised to find this on their menu.The service was especially pleasant and all the servers were very kind. We had an accidental spill of coffee and the servers rushed to clean it up without making us feel bad about it. They even refilled our coffee to go! How sweet!10/10 would recommend :)

I am not a big fan of Thai food usually as it is a hit or miss depending upon the restaurant. But this place has made Thai food a staple in our diet. Their lunch specials are very reasonable and the food tastes amazing. The dinner portions are huge too which is a plus. My favorites at this place are their basil fried rice, crab fried rice, drunken noodles, yellow curry and their salmon curry. You wont be disappointed with any of these. Their Thai Iced tea is super tasty as well. If you are looking for a Thai food, I would definitely not look anywhere else.

Regret why I kept coming to this place again and again and again. For the last 6 consecutive orders, they made it wrong. If I could rate this restaurant more stars I would definitely do so! I am from Southern Arizona and was in the area for work. There is not a lot of Thia restaurants from where I am from and decided to try this place. After eating at Thai Paradise I have realized that I absolutely love Thai food! The food was to die for! I ordered Pad See Ew and chicken skewers. At first it seemed like a lot of food but there were no left overs on this sitting. The waiter was excellent, even though there were a lot of people dinning he would check on us and made sure we didnt need anything.The owner of the restaurant came over and greeted us and is one of the most polite persons that I have had the pleasure of meeting! She was great to conversate with and was just wonderful. I highly recommend Thai Paradise for great food, great staff, great atmosphere, and above all a great down to earth owner. I will definitely dine at the Thai Paradise the next time I am in Folsom.

Consistently good & always good service, I cant think of a bad experience in the 15 years weve been going here. Even when its packed we get quick service & food. Take out is rarely mixed up but theyve been quick & helpful the few times something wasnt quite right. Ive had several interactions with the owner Jarunee & shes always so nice & accommodating. Its really great knowing you can order the same thing & itll always taste the same excellent way, or get something different & be just as happy. Im completely happy the menu hasnt changed much in all these years as well as I love all the curries & spicy asparagus, tom yum kai & fresh ginger saute.The coupons are a nice surprising extra too!

Everything was ok. I got the special Pumpkin Curry which was pleasant but slightly overcooked - the pumpkin pieces had a slightly off texture. Also, even though I had asked for more spice it was still just mild. The pad see iew tasted a little burnt but somehow the broccoli didn’t taste like anything. This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. They are a little bit expensive, but for the price, you get great food, great service, and great dining experience.Lots of seats there and its good for large groups. Ive seen some large groups, sometimes up to 12 people and they can accommodate them with no problem and the place still has a lot of seats left.Their food portions are big as well. If you work around this area, you should drop by for lunch. Good selections of food with decent price since they offer lunch special.

After seeing all the good reviews, I can only assume we ordered the wrong dishes. The angel wing appetizers were the best thing we had. The drunken noodles with tofu was lacking. Tough noodles, only a few scant pieces of tofu and vegetables. Certainly not worth $16. The bancock chicken was dry and the breading tasted like seasoned flour. The broccoli was cold (supposed to be?) The cashew chicken was just ok. Very expensive meal for what we got.

One of my most recent trips, the waitress did not ask how spicy I wanted the food and I was served food so spicy, I could not finish my meal. Unfortunately, I had no time to re-order my lunch. One other previous trip, I placed my order based on a daily lunch special at dinner time, not knowing it was prepared differently for lunch, it arrived and I explained it was not what I wanted but that I wanted what I normally get for lunch, I was then informed, Thats how it comes for dinner. No new plate was offered, no option to order it. Not a huge deal except I have since been back twice and received the LUNCH version at Dinner and all has been perfect. Additionally we recently took a family party of 9 people to dinner here and we were double charged for 3 items on our bill, while 2 items of food were forgotten and we had to have another waitress go get our missing food. Arrived and we were seated right away, ordered quickly getting yummy sweet potatoes and chicken sa-tay. Enjoyed a very refreshing thai iced tea with free refill which was a bonus! Two of us had pineapple fried rice, one pad thai and a mango salmon salad. I wouldve liked a little more pineapple flavor vs lets just throw a couple pieces of pineapple in to the mix at the end and call it pineapple fried rice... the other patron also agreed, service was great and the pricing was fair for the portions received. Not my favorite thai food, but definitely a good choice for thai food in Folsom! Thanks!!

This place used to be a little spot that was hard to get a seat at. But, a few years ago they started to lease the adjacent spot to make 1 large seating area. Service has always been great and this is by far the best Thai place in Folsom.

Though I love Thai food and also this restaurant, I am writing a negative review because of my experience today. My toddler was moving his legs which hit the foot board of the seat we were seated on and had some tapping noise. He was just being a toddler and not causing any nuisance to anybody. But the waiters seemed to have a problem with it and everyone passing our table kept asking him to stop it. And some of them even told us parents ( me and my husband) to make him stop doing it telling us they had other customers. We even obliged and asked our kid to stop doing it. He did stop but occasionally his legs did hit the foot board, unintentionally. And then one of the waiter walks to us and tells us we have to ask our kid to stop it else he would move us to another table as other customers are getting disturbed. I asked him if someone had complained and he told yes. So I told him my boy was just being a toddler and we couldnt expect him to sit still. And more over he was not cranky, crying or throwing any tantrum. He was most well behaved for a child and eating his dinner. If someone complained of this child, he (waiter) had to move them to a different table and not us. I wonder why this different treatment to different customers? I am very saddened by this behavior of adults who forget they were once children too. Parents be aware before you take your kids to this restaurant. And till the no one even apologized for their attitude towards us. I may not want to return here. I am sure there are more Thai restaurants in town to fulfill my Thai food cravings.

My boyfriend and I were supposed to meet up here. when i arrived i asked if someone by his description had been seated and i was waved off and told to go look, she didnt know, i checked out the dining room and didnt see him so i waited outside for a bit then went back in and asked again with the same response. I thought maybe he had made a stop so i again went outside and waited, 30 mins passed and he popped his head out from inside the restaurant. They had sat him behind a pole at the back of the restaurant by the kitchen entrance, the hostess that sat him was the same one i asked upon arrival and who waved me off. After being treated so rudely we decided to leave however he had had a few beers while waiting for me so he needed to pay his tab, couldnt find the server anywhere so we went to the front and just asked if we could pay. I was a huge ordeal. Customer service was terrible, even if the food was the best I wont ever go back.

Great place for thai food in folsom. Always ask them to chop your veggies into smaller pieces and they will look into it. Spicy fried rice and drunken noodles are very good. The thai iced tea here is way too sweet though

Initially the server fussed about seating outside, then she did not take the order correctly and missed bringing rice and finally when we asked for Thai ice tea refills then they ran out of tea. Not a very good experience.

I ordered a pad thai and thai pork ribs. The pad thai is too sweet for my taste. They didnt even put lime for the pad thai. The pork rib has too much sauce and its really salty. You need to eat it with a lot of rice to counter the saltiness.
