Thai Thai in Santee

Small Thai and Sushi restaurant. There is a pleasant atmosphere, fresh flowers around, a bowl of floating blossoms and some Thai gods meet you at the door. I had the Thai food which was excellent. Im going back to try the sushi.

Everything was delicious! Id never had a Thai tea before but the waitress suggested it and it was so yummy! I might try it with boba next time since Ive never had that either. She gave me an option on the spiciness level (1-10 with 3 being medium) which I thought was cool! I got a 4 and it had a nice kick to it. Very tasty food and adorable decor. Great pricing. Ill definitely be going back and trying other items but I would 100% eat that Pad Thai every day if I could haha

Definitely a no go restaurant. I don’t know why it is a 4.5 rate on Google which makes me choose to give it a try. BBQ chicken we ordered was raw, the sushi roll we get came with some froze tuna that has a strong bad rotten meat taste which made us decide to end the meal. Please if you don’t want to get sick, don’t come to this restaurant. Their service is fine, it is just their food. By the way, we did pay our bill so the review is my genuine suggestion!

The flavors from the food here is as close as I have had to Thailand in the US. Will be willing to drive from La Jolla to Santee for this. That speaks volume.P.S. Spice level 4 was the limit for us. Anything more than that, wed sweat bullets. However less than that would make the flavors disappear ie bland. So 4 is the perfect sweet spot for most of us.

Update: sushi is back! The menu is different, but its the same chef as before and will make your old favorites if you ask nicely!Probably the best, most authentic Thai food Ive ever had! Ordered Tom Yum, Pad Thai, and Sliced Beef Salad. Very friendly staff! Definitely one for the rotation.Returned for happy hour with friends, the food is just incredible. This time we ordered edamame, gyoza, pad see ew, spicy Thai basil, green curry, Thai iced coffee, and a bottle of wine. We had a great time, spent $60 and came home with tons of leftovers

This is the best Thai Curry I have ever had. Ive had this chain of food near Oceanside a long time ago and remember it being pretty good but I dont remember it tasting this good. I got yellow curry with the seafood combo and although it cost quite a bit more than the other types, Id still say it was well worth it. I got mine as a pickup order and there was probably enough curry for about 2 servings and 1 serving of rice. I also ordered the sweet mango sticky rice which was kinda pricey for a desert, but once again, worth the price for the size and quality.The inside experience wasnt all that impressive.

We ordered to go for lunch today. My usual restaurant is closed Tuesdays so I was hoping for an alternate. This is NOT it. They didnt put sauce in with the fresh rolls, they didnt pack any sauce for anything - not even soy sauce. They didnt put napkins or silverware in with the to go order. The spicy basil was not spicy at all. It was bland. So incredibly disappointed.I think I will wait until Busy Bee is open and eat there from now on. Forget Thai Tuesday!

Soooo yummy! And very great presentation! I got the Thai tea which was delicious! My mother and I shared the Thai green curry, the spicy noodles, and the mango sticky rice (pictured here). Everything tasted amazing and had sooo much flavor! This is our new favorite local Thai restaurant! ❤️

This venue used to be super attractive when they had the sushi crew there ... It was very welcoming and a great local restaurant that served exquisite cuisine. Now it just seems like theyre going through the motions ... The food from the kitchen in the back is okay but they dont seem to go above and beyond.

Had the sampler beef and broccoli and the spicy shrimp salad was absolutely delicious and the appetizers were hot! Id definitely recommend this place for some good food!
