I ordered from The Wave today and omg!!! I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of this food. It was very delicious and reminded me of the first time I ever tasted Thai food (a life changing experience 😂) I will 10/10 recommend this place to friends. I ordered the Thai curry with tofu and a flan for dessert. The flan had a lovely light essence of vanilla. My only problem is that I wanted to save some for later but that didn’t work out as planned lol.. The flavors were on point. And can we talk about how responsible these prices are? Also they delivered to me for free.. it came very quick! 5 stars from me!!!

Really good. The beef used is one of the better cuts Ive had in similar Thai food restaurants, and pricing is very reasonable, especially for the lunch specials. I live walking distance from here and plan to make more frequent trips.

Thai Wave is back to being one of the best places to eat downtown, or downtown-ish; you need to walk up Main Street past of most of the Hub-bub to 6th street. I am not sure if management changed but the quality of the food is back to previous freshness and taste. I had Duck with Basil - which I intended to have leftovers; but it was too good.

This is one of our favorite restaurants for food to go. We also enjoy dining in occasionally. The Angel Wing appetizer is amazing. The pad thai is delicious, and so are the various other noodle dishes. Thai barbecue chicken is awesome. The restaurant is small, the food is awesome.

On a Sunday afternoon I called for a reservation for 10 people. The service was amazing and the food was super fast!! We all ordered a dish and shared everything so we could try some of everything. Highly recommended.

Total disappointment, nothing tasted good. Curry was as runny as water with barely anything in it. We ordered a couple types of curry and it all looked like barely spiced water. Pad Thai was nothing but a pile of very sweet noodles. Like if you boil noodles and pour sweet-n-sour souse all over it. We ordered a bunch of food for a party of ten and we all agreed it nothing tasted good. We basically had to throw majority away and order pizza. Fried rice with duck was tolerable.

My sister has been going to this restaurant for about a year and a half Ive been going about a month and a half and it is superb all of the dishes are exactly the same every time and they are perfectly seasoned.Masa mom Curry is currently our favorite and it has a peanut butter like taste with tofu and basil leaves I cant stress enough how all the vegetables are freshly cut and not sitting around for a while the service is excellent it is a No frills place and they are also have wonderful Thai tea.

I’ve got fish cake and pad Thai with combination protein. Fish cake was not that great and spongy. Pad thai is smoky which was weird also didn’t get hits of oyster sauce or fish sauce and no tangy taste from tamarind. However, amount of protein was good.

Completely off the hook wonderful food. Wonderful people to. Let me recommend the pork fried rice Ive never had better my whole life. The egg rolls were completely go to a crisp and delicious sweet and sour sauce to dip them in. I highly recommend this place.

Ordered from this place last night. It was quite late and we knew they were closing soon but they were still happy to take our order and it was ready really quickly, they were all friendly when we arrived.We got extra spicy drunken noodles and spicy chicken kra prow. They were both superb!! Flavors were excellent, vegetables were flavorful, rice was perfect!! Cannot wait to go back and try more.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant! I pretty much eat here as often as I can. Their food is sooo good. Best Pad Thai ever😍 & Their Thai iced tea is dairy-free!♡ I have gotten a few really spicy curries before, so remember to specify your spice level. Takeout & delivery are always extremely fast!

We are from out of state so we did not know what the food looked like. Some of my group said the food was not good at all and did not eat theirs, but I shared my di ner of chow minutes combination.

I am really sad to write this review, my family have been a customers here for years. The customer service tonight was ATROCIOUS. It was a simple curry order, and we simply ordered it with no spice. When my husband came home with the curry as soon as I looked at it I could tell how spicy it was. When we opened it we could smell how spicy it was, and then we tried it. HOLY FIRE. Like inedible! We called to let them know that the we had received the incorrect curry, and just wanted a credit towards the next one. No biggie. Well sadly the woman on the phone refused to believe it was spicy and demanded I drive the curry to her so she could try it herself. I explained we didn’t want a refund, just credit to the next one. We were feeding our little ones and couldn’t leave the house. NOPE YOU NEED TO DRIVE IT DOWN RIGHT NOW. I could barely tell between her screaming and the women in the background screaming. At that point I told her her attitude was so unfortunate and that we would no longer be returning to her restaurant. To this she responded “I don’t care it’s not spicy” LOL I’m even laughing at this as I’m writing bc it’s so ridiculous, but to me I cannot understand such rude and poor customer service. So one star bc I had too. The food was inedible and the customer service was insanely awful. Will NOT be returning

Terrific restaurant a little away from the craziness of Main St. They use fresh ingredients and the right amount of spices in everything. Their summer rolls and drunken noodle entrees are especially delicious. the best Pad Thai anywhere.

My family LOVES this place!! We went once when we first moved to Huntington, but the food wasnt that great. However we caught news that they hired a new chef! We had to give this place a second chance. We went and were amazed by how great the food is!!! I cant go there without getting the Thai ice tea. Little kids can go, but some of the people in there are there to talk, so crazy kids are not suggested. Hahaha. Has room for large groups to eating alone. This place truly is our favorite Thai food restaurant!!!

Before 6p this is mostly order takeout even though it has restaurant seating. Have been there twice, after 4p. Its quiet, convenient and pleasant. Plates are big enough to share in my opinion but we always seem to finish ours only sharing bites of each others choices! This time I ordered Crying Tiger after reading reviews and it didnt match up to expectations. Steak was chewy which was surprising since it is so thinly sliced. It is a good low carb meal tho! Hubby had Duck fried rice which we both found extremely satisfying as it was fried in duck fat. The rice had a perfect chew to it and the duck fat left a wonderful mouth feel (think high fat ice cream! ) That could be a new favorite but theres still more to try! Happy hour is 4-7p.

Had lovely dinner with my wife. We haven’t been here in a long time. We ordered enough for leftovers the next day. Most of the leftovers were pretty much ruined as they just poured the curry on top of the rice so everything with some glob all mixed together.

This was one of my favorite Thai places but no more. We ate there this week and it was not good. The fried calamari appetizer was greasy and the portion was way too small for $10.00. The chicken in the salad was dried out, no flavor and tough. The pad see ew was so sweet it was like eating candied noodles. The wait staff was busy watching a basketball game, which I understand being a fan, but not while there are customers trying to get their attention. I will not go back since there are so many better choices for Thai in Huntington Beach.

Our go to Thai place when we dont do delivery. Friendly and attentive staff, restaurant is clean and has a chill vibe and the food is always good. We love the Tom Ka and the Drunken Noodles but they have a large menu with all of the typical Thai sauces and dishes. The hot sake was pretty bad and their mango and sticky rice for dessert has been hit and miss but still recommend.

Quickly becoming our favorite Thai lunch spot. Great sized portions.. friendly attentive service. For appetizer my fiancé and I started with Satay Chicken, comes with 5 skewers of marinated chicken served with peanut sauce and cucumber relish. Also ordered Tofu soup to go with appetizer. For dish, Im a spicy food lover so I go with the Drunken Noodle, has broad noodles, basil, bell peppers and tomatoes, pan-fried with Thai spicy chili sauce. My fiancé also loving spicy food went with Jungle Curry, spicy red curry paste without coconut milk, mixed with bamboo shoots, and basil. To satisfy our sweet tooth we had to order the Thai iced tea, comes in large tall glasses. For dessert, well we didnt have room for dessert so we took an order of their fried banana and sticky rice with mango to go.. writing this makes me hungry all over again.

A Thai restaurant located one or two blocks inland from Huntington Beach. The food is OK, and the staffs attitude and service are good. Its a shame that the beer isnt very cold (its cold, but not cold), but its not Japan, so it cant be helped. If youre craving Asian food while youre in California, I think its a good idea to check out this store.
