Excellent food, efficient service, and affordable prices! It’s so nice having this place east of I-5 when I don’t want to drive all the way to Little Saigon for good Vietnamese food. The bún riêu was amazing, and the portion size was generous. The waiter stopped by several times to check if we were ready to order or needed anything else. Look forward to coming here again!

Excellent service! I had better service here than at some Michelin star restaurants. Very attentive waiters / greeters, continued to check in on us but didn’t feel like they were breathing down our necks the way some restaurants feel. The food was delicious. This is our new go-to pho place!

I have been coming here 2 years mostly on lunch time, i cant say its the best pho i have ever had but pretty consistent, I usually order brisket & rare steak combo i wish there is more meat in it but its ok. I understand they are busy but i always feel im rushed every time i dine here.

I’ve been coming here with my family since I was a kid, the servers are super friendly and funny. The fried calamari is to die for, along with the other dishes such as the pho and plate bbq dish.

The food came out super fast and really hot broth, I had the rare beef pho and was very good, I wish it came with more jalapeños.I sat outside with my dog. The servers and the manager were super friendly and attentive.The beer wasn’t super cold, i was a little bummed, but I will come back again for sure.The table next to me had the oxi tail and looked the bomb!Thank you for a great lunch!

Pretty generic for Vietnamese food wasn’t impressed. To be honest. Ordered the shaken beef and it was pretty much bland. I had shaken beef many times before and mine was a little bit off. The spring rolls were somewhat dry so I had to rewet it with water to revive the wrapper so I ended up just eating the inside and tossing the wrapper. Came here for lunch from work so decided to stop by the service was great don’t get me wrong. But disappointed because of the reviews ordered my partner some pho because he wanted some for lunch on our break and even the pho was bland. Their wasn’t any flavor no anise, black pepper cardamom where is the seasoning. Disappointed because we paid about 70$ bucks and some boba on the side. I wouldn’t mind giving it a try again but for the price I’m better off going to garden grove for some amazing Vietnamese food

Really recommend this place for their Pho with Beef Ox Tail. Meat is very good and tender. Soup base was good today also. 1 star kept it from being a 5 Star was because noodles arrived uncooked and hard. They literally just dropped them in the soup.

This is one of my favorite pho places. My family has been coming here since I was in elementary school. That’s 15 years plus! 😱They’ve gone through quite a few changes and maybe a few price increases and redone menus but the food has always tasted wonderful and we keep coming back. 🍜🍜🍜 The eggrolls are amazing. They also have huge portions so I’ve never left hungry.

Nice Standard pho place, MSG created this great tasting broth and delicious pho. Some people do mit react to it, some as I get des mouth from it and need to drin lotsen if water. Place Nerds sind TLC but the family Run Workshop Hardware to keep you happy.

Just when you thought with the cold weather lets eat something healthy mmmmm how about a hearty warm soup. I had a to go order thank God we didnt eat at restaurant lighting was very dim. I wont be able to notice there because of dim lights once we came home after we ate, and what we saw was horrible.I went back talked to the manager and managers response yeah they forgot to wash the vegetables and sorry but these are not cockroaches. If you see the picture it clearly shows more than one. I will never ever eat here again. I wonder how many people gotten sick after eating here. I contacted health department already, I am pretty sure they will be paying a visit to this filthy restaurant.If you are going to serve baby cockroach at least have the courtesy to put it on the menu so people know what they are eating. To top it off the romantic ambiance and dim light keeps you from guessing what you are eating.

I’ve been going here 20+ years with my family. Their food is always amazing. Their fried rice is likely one of the best in the country. I’ve tried tons of fried rice and nothing will ever compare to theirs. The pho is so so good. Their spring rolls and peanut sauce are immaculate! I recenetly moved to Fullerton and still drive the 25 minutes to come here.

This place is gas. prices, flavor, customer service, speed in food being ready, ALL OF IT is better than any of the vietnamese restaurants in the area. I would pick this place every time. never skimps on freshness, flavor, or quality, but is still cheap. the customer service is so welcoming and sweet. they’ve never messed up my order which is rare because i’ve ordered there so many times. love this place, go here.

Price are a little to steep I’ve only have gotten the pho from there so far and garlic calamari pho first time I went was a little bland and the cup of water they give out was tasting bad.I thought I’d give it another tryWent ahead got the garlic calamari that was beyond amazing also got pho and it was beyond full of flavor. Glad I gave it another try people working there are so nice. Broth is always amazing, their porkchop rice is one of my favorites, the calamari tops a lot of different places I order from like italian food places, and the chicken wings are best when eating in. The staff is always friendly and even when I have lunch here with just my niece and I they cater to her as if she was their child themself. I come here maybe 1 to 3 times a week as it is my wifes favorite too. I love the radio station that they have on too, maybe im just weird like that and pay attention to stuff like that but yeah its always enjoyable. I love this place.

Terrible service. We ordered the vegan entrees from a menu category that explicitly says vegan. They gave us fish sauce with the noodle dish and when I asked the owner about it, he basically put up his hands and said I dont know. He disappears, and then someone comes and picks up my dish, and 10 minutes later I have a new one. No apologies, no discussion, nothing. Terrible service and avoid this place as clearly they didnt care.

A local favorite! Beyond the ever-popular pho, they do an array of other dishes that are very much worth trying - the vermicelli bowls with grilled meat is so refreshing when its hot out (I always get the chicken and beef - both come perfectly seasoned and grilled with just the right amount of char), the deep fried calamari is a great starter to share, and I love their spicy chicken wings with rice. Service is quick and cheerful.

We showed up with a party of 20+ people, without a reservation. This is about half of their total capacity. They provided excellent service and were super kind to us. Food and drinks arrived very quickly. Oxtail pho was very good. I would visit regularly if I lived here.

Quite good. The #24, fried rice with shrimp, chicken, and beef is only $12 and can feed 2. The calamari on appetizer menu is more like an entree for 2, or an actual appetizer for a party of 6-12 people. a lot of calamari for $15, though you cant taste the garlic in it. when i got the calamari, it was not over done (rubbery) or under done. it was soft and done just right.

My wife and I prefer this restaurant over competing vietnamese restaurants.Reasonably priced casual dining. This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in South OC.The food is delicious. Their pho is great. The broth is tasty. A large pho can easily fed two people. Their vermicelli and rice dishes are equally good. Our favorite is the BBQ pork + egg roll vermicelli and pork chop combo rice.The service is always courteous and friendly. The staff always have smile on their faces. I came in with the 10% off coupon. The waiter took 10% off the bill, and told me to keep the coupon so I can use it again next time. I gladly added the 10% off amount on top of his tips for his good service.The price is unbeatable. You can get very full with leftover to take home for under $10!

The prices online are incorrect. I just called and they said price increased on Wednesday 7/14/21. For Pho chicken, increased $2. And egg rolls increased $1. Just let you all know its the california gas prices and you all need to vote to stop the increase of the gas tax. Enjoy!

Where can I go for great pho in the Irvine/ Lake Forest area? Thanh Binh!! I am so glad I found this place, because previous I going to the horrible Pho 99 just down the street. Pho 99 has horrible service and food quality, but I went because I was desperate for some pho, but now when ever I have cravings Thanh Binh!I love their Large number 1 Pho special, but the thing that I enjoy the most is the egg rolls. Vietnamese egg rolls can vary extremely from restaurant to restaurant. Some places are crisp others taste old and soggy. Thanh Binh has the freshest tasting viet egg rolls I have ever tasted. I would recommend wrapping it in lettuce and the other veggies provided and dip in the vinegary type sauce.The Pho has a delicious soup base. Im still unsure if they use MSG or not. The soup is very flavorful on its own, but you can always spice it up or add mint, lime, hot sauce or jalapenos to taste. The Large is enough for two people, but if you are a hungry man like me you wont be let down. The pho includes a lot of meat.. I wish they would slice it thinner, but still delicious.The service is very friendly and attentive, which is a shocker, because I dont expect good service when I eat a Vietnamese restaurant. I am glad that Thanh Binh changed pho experience.Highly recommended. Pho- shizzzle! See you there.
