I’ve been coming for more than 5+ years here never had issues with not tipping the servers but today 6/1/2023 this server got upset and gave horrible attitude and demanded tip.
The Pho broth was top notch! Its so flavorful and hearty. The portions are good sized and affordable. Really down to earth workers too. I order to go and my orders are always ready to go when I get there. Great service and food.

Inexpensive food and great taste. I wish they used a little higher quality seafood in their seafood pho, but it was still great. It does get pretty busy, so dont be surprised when youre standing in line outside. There is no waiting area, so youll likely order from outside and then be served as soon as you sit.
Hands-down, this place has the best rice noodles for their pho! The noodles taste like broth, as if they were cooked in it, so it’s super flavorful. The food was ready within 8 minutes of ordering over the phone. This restaurant is now my go-to pho place in my area.
I live near here so I walk here pretty often. Their pho is perfect on a cold day or if youre sick. The staff helps you order right away and the food comes out pretty quickly. Usually I get mine to go and the staff always gives me a cup of water without having to ask for it, which just shows you their attentiveness.
This was my second visit and got the special #8. The broth is properly seasoned and the portion is large. Good and friendly service. I recommend this Pho anytime.
This is typical no frills just Good Food and friendly staff/owner Mom and Pop Hole in the Wall resturant.I would definitely recommend.
Their pho are in keeping with the traditional taste but the appetizers like the bahn xeo leaves a lot to be desired
We came in 35 to 40 minutes before closing, they were very welcoming and seated us immediately. I had the Chicken and partner had Steak and Brisket. It was Delicious. All the condiments were on the table as well as utensils and napkins. It was an amazing and delicious experience.
1st time visit ordered to go not bad on the pho broth. It had a good portion. I really liked the spring rolls. Cant wait to come back and try other menu items. Staff was very courteous and polite, helpful on answering portion questions
Cash Only & No BathroomIve eaten my fair share of Pho and this place was ok. The Pho beef broth tasted like beef bouillon instead of the authentic bone marrow beef broth. As soon as you add the fixings, the lime juice took over the flavor instead of adding to it. It was OK but I wont be returning.The Thai tea was good and strong, not too sweet.The service was fast and friendly.Maybe for other dishes, but for Pho Id recommend a pass.
I eat here at least once a week. Not a fancy dinner place, but great place for quick lunch. Very flavorful dishes. I love the curry chicken with rice. I didn’t even know they Vietnamese had their own curry, but it’s good.
This is hands down my favorite pho. I know those can be fighting words but hear me out. The broth here is always flavorful, good color. The meat is always good quality too (no bad fat on the brisket like some other places). The quality of other ingredients is always high and consistent too.They make their own chili saucew is the other reason why you should absolutely go here. That sauce is amazeballs and totally worth the trip.

This is a quiet, unassuming spot located in the Circle-K and Bubbles car wash parking lot. When the other businesses are open parking is probably a challenge, but at 7:00 PM on a Saturday night I had no problem finding a spot.The restaurant was small, and decor was sparse, but it was clean inside and I found it to be cozy. The menu was fairly small, but I was in the mood for pho and some appetizers, and there was plenty to choose from. The only thing missing from the menu that I wanted was a banh mi pork sandwich.My +1 and I started our meal with egg rolls, spring rolls, and coconut shrimp from the appetizer menu, and then two bowls of pho: one combo (rare beef, brisket, tendon, tripe), and one meatball.*Note: Our server seemed a bit amused by the amount of food we ordered, but I hadnt eaten all day and was confident we (by that, I mean mostly I) could put it all down. We managed to finish everything, but that was quite a bit of food and I wouldnt advise ordering it all at once.The appetizers were delicious. The egg rolls were crisp and flaky, the spring rolls were fresh, the peanut sauce was tangy, and the coconut shrimp were a welcome surprise I didnt expect to see at a hole in the wall pho spot.The pho itself was delicious, too. The broth had a lot of flavor and they were generous with the meat. I added a spoonful of two of the chili sauce to give it a little heat, and it was perfect.Service was great, the food was delicious, and the price was right. Im sure well be back.
The pho and grilled pork chop we ordered were very tasty. Pho soup had the right flavor and pork chop was freshly cooked. The reason I gave 4 stars is only because of the size of the food. I ordered large pho but I was still hungry and it didnt look like a large size.I would definitely revisit for taste not to fill my big stomach.
Pretty good. Atmosphere seems kinda lacking but the food is great. The pho tastes great and the calamari is excellent. Truly the talk of the town. For a small Pho place I enjoyed my visit.
Pho here is so-so, the chicken in the pho ga is a little dry. I do appreciate the location and the quietness of the restaurant. The food came out quickly and the staff is very prompt. Im not a huge fan of their thai tea (tastes slightly strange).

Being far away from Bolsa, where the majority of Vietnamese restaurants are located, but their food and customer service was great. My wife had Pho, I tried the Combo fried rice, and we loved it.
Everyplace has its own flavor; this ones the one that keeps me coming back over and over! Never get tired of ordering the same thing, kinda just fell in love with the bowl,. The family really does an amazing job and Im thankful to have found this place.

By far the best pho I have EVER had in my entire life. I really enjoy a broth of pho and I was having a hard time looking for a place in Anaheim. It was very serendipitous for this place to be close to me as well as being the best place I have ever had.I have eaten pho in La Habra, Placentia, Beach, Santa Barbara, Brea, La Mirada, Garden Grove, Fullerton, and Goleta.None compare to this place. Very happy enough to go and review about this place. Also the new owner Sun is very welcoming and is a kind man. He really works hard and is polite to open doors and make sure his customers are very well taken care of.

My hushand and I went here and love it. We had their fried & fresh spring rolls and seafood pho. Loved it and especially the peanut dipping sauce with the rolls. The wait for lunch was a little long so we call it in ahead since we only get 30 mins. Also it is cash only.
Thanh Binh on Ball Road is a great place to eat especially in East Anaheim, where its hard to find a good Pho restaurant.The menu also features rice dishes, beef, chicken and seafood too. And of course, Vietnamese iced coffee. If you havent tried it, you will just love it. You will scoff at starbucks weak iced coffees and frapps cuz they are overpriced and dont do the job, while the Vietnamese coffee is smooth and strong too. Perfect for the morning. Actualy, I prefer eating a Vietnamese breakfast of beef pho, surprisingly it is normally a breakfast food, although more than likely its eaten at lunch. It is similar to Menudo, perfect for high density nutrition and protein, and of course its the breakfast of champions cuz it cures the common hangover.I highly recommend Thanh Binh restaurant !

I phoned in an order and went in to pick it up. One item was ready and they forgot the main dish. When I calmly asked why, the owner through a temper tantrum. He yelled and said do you want your money back. When I calmly asked him why he was so upset, he mumbled about his cook not hearing him but his anger was towards me. He yelled again - do you want your money back and I said all I want is my food. When he would not stop his tirade, I asked myself - why would I give this terrible human my money. So I said okay, give me my money back. He did and then he continued his rampage. I remained calm the entire time. I felt sorry for, what appeared to be, his wife. She was nice and apologetic. I cannot believe that this is the first time he has treated a customer this way. One star because thats the least I could give.

Below average taste and portion size. Everything was a little off. The sauce was too salty, the shrimp was over cooked. The pho was average. Nothing special.
Not all PHO shops are same. For Thanh Binh, PHO, the taste is good, quality meet in PHO, and very reasonable price. Thanh Binh will be my go-to-PHO place. Thank you for serving good quality PHO.
Great place. Ive now been to three of these and they are all very good. Small location but the tables are positioned well. Crowded parking lot, but easy to get to from the freeway.
The worst food I have ever had!! The owner friendly, but you cant eat friendly!!! Somebody said earlier that this was the best Pho he has ever had. Come to San Diego if you want real Vietnamese food!!!

2023-02-19 23:33:39The pho was tasty. However, the shrimp pho made me sick. When it first arrived, it came with cilantro, onions, and other herbs in it. It seemed to be a soup that had been sitting for a while, based on the way the herbs looked in the bowl. I added basil and bean sprouts. I hadn’t eaten all day, so I dug in. My stomach is a little sensitive right now. That’s why I chose pho. I had pho from another place that I have been to, just the day before. It did not make me sick. The woman that greeted us was very friendly and we did receive quick service.I first ordered my food to go. As we sat there I changed my mind and asked to have my food there. The guy cooking in the back made a big deal about it. Yelled at the woman that greeted us, saying that she took our order wrong. Which made her approach me while I was grabbing another menu to make sure she understood. I confirmed she was correct. Nevertheless, she asked three more times while I was eating so the man in the back could hear.

They allowed me to switch to pho instead. Kudos to them for apologizing and getting it fixed quick.Food:The pho was good. Not the best I had, but it was good enough. The meat was okay. Food portion was decent. They come in small and large. The small is good enough to make you full. The curry was okay too. I didnt like the noodles they used for the curry.Ambience:Typical pho place. Tile floors. Green walls. 14 tables. The tables and chairs have a dark red/brown color. Nothing special. There are a few pictures on the wall.
