If you want to experience what a Vietnamese meal looks like, dont skip this place.This restaurant serves food in the style of northern Vietnam, which is very cool. Ive always wanted to try North Vietnamese food but havent had a chance until today.The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. I ordered a lot of food for 2, but everything was delicious except for the tofu and lemongrass. It was a little salty for me, and they do provide a free dessert at the end of your meal. I will come back again for sure..P/s: the parking is difficult to get in- out and quite small.

You will be satisfied with the food at Thanh Do. The price was reasonable and good. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you like camarelized catfish in claypot, Vietnamese sweet n sour catfish soup, etc..

Wow! What can I not say about this restaurant? Its rare for me to come back twice in a week!Foods were excellent and comparable, if not better than homemade cooking. The flavorings and spices were just right. The best deals were the combination and just do more add-on if needed.P.S. Foods were excellent, parking sucked!!!

My husband loves Vietnamese soup. (Canh chua) Catfish... and Catfish in claypot. The food was delicious. And we met a few locals. Very nice people.

A truly great authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Every dish we ordered was amazing. A member of our group came from Vietnam a few months ago and had high praises for the food for its authenticity and flavor profile just like in VN. The service was attentive; perhaps it was because we had an early lunch here before the restaurant got busy. Parking is really hard as the restaurant is located in a very small complex with limited and narrow parking spaces.

I always order from this restaurant for our clinic so I did not have a chance to post about how amazing the food is! Also, they have great customer service, and free chè if you order family meal!! Will continue to order from Thanh Do ❤❤❤❤❤

Fast, cheap, and good. Somewhat clean, too. I had Ca Bong Lau or clay pot catfish with onions and marinates. It was a bit salty for me, but I recommend it because it was pretty good.

Went here for the first time. I was so shocked that what ever dish you ordered it doesn’t come with rice. They charged an extra $1.50 extra per person for the rice. Never been to an Asian restaurant that charges you for rice with your entre. The food was average, won’t be back.

I love the good food, the right price, the nice people, almost all, about this restaurant, Thành Đô, Garden Grove, California. They serve their food with love, care, and pride of doing it right. I cant cook often, and am so glad to have found the right place providing for my familys table meals! My appreciation is beyond words!My 🌹 for THÀNH ĐÔ RESTAURANT!

Excellent food and services. If youre looking for good Vietnamese home cooked meals, this is the place. We ordered 10 different items and they were all excellent. Therre were a few items I have never liked anywhere else but loved it here.

Excellent authentic Vietnamese food. The owner is kind and very hard working. You can tell from how he helps the staff to do everything. I’ve tried almost every dish and they are all great. Staff work hard, price reasonable. I come here weekly and highly recommend this place!

May be the best Vietnamese I have had outside of home. Great friendly service and really great food. Had the caramelized pork belly and clay pot fish plus some fried fish and ong chocolate. First try for purple yam soup was great with a hint of pork and lots of shrimp.

Located where tai buu (RIP) used to be. This restaurant is a great addition to little Saigon com phan scene. Food taste great, price is still super low. Parking is limited, service is standard. The food is slow to come out but taste like home cooked.I had thier 3 dish familly meal for 20 bucks. Best deal in little Saigon currently.You even get complimentary che for dessert.

Nice selection of food on their menu. The food is delicious. They were very accomodating to our party of 12. Parking may be difficult, though. There arent many spaces, especially with their neighboring businesses also attracting customers. You can try parking in the local residential streets or call Uber or Lyft. Defintiely carpool if you can...or pray you have good parking karma. The food is worth it.

My family doesnt eat out often, but when we do -- its always here! This restaurant tastes exactly like the meals we had in Vietnam. The ca kho to and canh chua is amazing! Very great service and nice environment.If you’re like me and love Asian food - you might be shocked to learn the struggles these communities are currently facing.We’ve seen almost 3000 anti-Asian incidents this past year and the number keeps rising. From physical assaults, to verbal harassment to civil rights violations across 47 states in America.We need to speak up, show our support and raise more awareness.Its time for us to remember the impact these communities have made in our lives.All we need to do, is love the Asian community the way we love their food.#ReviewsOfLove #StopAsianHate

3 1/² stars: We ordered the family lunch combo and every item came out hot and tasty except the crispy fried fish was so small (seemed to be just enough for 1 person) that my sister had to order an extra side order of fried pomprete (for 5 people)... Also, be forewarned that parking at this restaurant is very limited! (Shares tiny parking lot with many other stores in the plaza).

Spot on family style Vietnamese food. I did not have any reaction to MSG there so that means they did not heavily seasoned their food with that. A big plus for me. The restaurant is clean and their service is good enough.

Lovess this place ****4*1/2* yummy delicious home cook foods.. This is one of the GEM restaurant in BOLSA, Westminster. Family oriented place 2eats with decent prices..Not Overprice 4their dishes n soup bowls r noodles bowls.. Theyve nice services, *but tend 2be bit slower wen come 2rush/prime peak HRss of lunches n dinners time.. Also, restaurant cleanliness overall., 8 out of 10 on the scale.. we usually come here @least twice/wk. & more wen weve more free times 2drive down2 bolsa, Westminster...!!

The food is insanely fresh here. The Hispanic waiter actually speaks decent vietnamese which is so impressive. Theyre very friendly here and their food is soooooo good. Super recommend!

If you want good, real authetic Vietnamese food in an unpretentious, clean atmosphere with no bs, good, fast service, this is your place. I consider this a gem in oc, because most other places around here are either good food but bad service, or good service but pretentious with bad or just acceptible food.

I read an article from the OC Register about this restaurant winning the restaurant of the week. The writer liked their caramelized pork dish so I got some for my parents. Even though they didnt eat it onsite, it was still very good according to my dad.
