Food is great here and the owners are incredibly friendly. The lady owner even allowed us to pay in euros - as we didn’t have any cash dollars - against a very fair exchange rate. We both tried the bagel sandwiches, cappuccinos and chocolate chip cookies. All were delicious. Strongly recommend this place….

This place deserves all the praise it gets. Simple but delicious sandwiches at exceptional prices, a variety of other foods present that don’t show up on the online menu(specials, slices of pie, candies and sweets etc). Fast service. Cash only but they accepted Venmo. Will absolutely be back and recommend to everyone.

Love this place. ❤ Prices are very good for the large and quality sandwich i get. Always get a croissant sandwich and make sure to ask for the honey-mustard-mayo, too! I usually get the turkey with cheese and this time added avacado. Worth the extra dollar! Milk and a sandwich for under $8!

A nice little hole in the wall place. Friendly staff, the bagels and croissant sandwiches are HUGE. Definitely would recommend. One thing they do is have food for those in need outside the shop to feed children, that was heart warming to see. Good food and good intentions.

Its a cozy mom & daughter cafe - Its CASH only, so be prepared. No parking lot, but theres usually street parking nearby. Seating is limited to a few cafe tables and a sofa area. They have a decent selection of sandwiches. Although there was a slight language barrier, my order came out just as I requested. The focaccia bread was perfectly toasted and they also have a great selection of teas.

$1 thai iced tea sounds potentially gimmicky but it was a legit deal and steal. Cup wasnt all that mini and there was a decent amount (probably 1/3 of regular cups) to quench my thirst and satisfy my tea craving, although the tea was on the milkier side while I prefer a stronger tea taste. Other specialty tea/coffee options also looked worth a try. They had a table with items out for people in need which was really sweet.

Came in for a turkey croissant sandwich and the cutest $1 Thai tea! The sandwich was so good. Filled with ooey gooey cheese and the croissant had a nice flakiness to it. The Thai tea was just the right size for when you’re craving Thai tea but want to be able to sleep at night. It had great flavor. It’s a little on the sweet side, but you can still taste the tea. The staff are so welcoming and there’s a table out front with FREE food staples for those who are in need. I’ll definitely come in again. They accept cash or Venmo.

Not only this is my favorite cafe in the city, but also my favorite business in the city overall.The owner is friendly and compassionate, the food is affordable and stayed affordable in the last 13 years that I have been here, despite the soaring cost of living. Dont get me started on their Thai milk tea, it is the best Thai milk tea I have ever had and I can tell you that I have had sampled a lot of them. Also get their egg sauce and cheese croissant, it is guaranteed delicious.This business has become such an integral part of my life in the city and I look forward to continuing to frequent it.

Cute corner café. Doesnt have much seating so preference is for to-go. Coffee drinks are delicious, and their Thai tea is a great deal. Food is pretty on-par for a café of their size. They dont take cards, Venmo or cash is the only option. I love avoiding taxes too! Among my favorites for a quick bite.

It’s an amazing small cafe with food outside to help people who are struggling as well as fresh food, and even grocery’s inside that you can purchase! Stopped here for a quick snack. Super friendly staff. They have a few inside seats, but its basically a counter that you order from. Great bagels, croissants cookies and other snacks. Thai iced tea, Italian soda, etc.Great prices too. Lots of school kids stop here after school so might be busier at that time.

We ALWAYS see people coming/going into this place, and often with lines, people of all ages, not just the schools kids (as there is a good stash of fun treats- candies, chips etc for afterschool). We finally tried it- my go to drink everywhere is Thai tea so had to try that- it was legit Thai tea and it satisfied my craving!!! It made me so happy! My kids loved it too and had boba added to their drink. Will definitely be coming back again. The owners were soo nice also, so its happy to support our local community.

Ive been to ~10 different cafes in the outer Richmond area. I order the same thing every time: an iced mocha. Without a doubt, the Art Bistro makes the best mocha because they strike a perfect balance between the sweet chocolate, creamy milk, and strong coffee. They are also remarkably consistent. I now go here almost every morning. If you want to start your day on a great note, I suggest you do the same.

Great small cafe. Two girls working there when we arrived during the busy lunch period, but they were quick and we got our food without a long wait. The tuna croissant was particularly yummy. I didnt order it but saw number of people order the Thai Ice Tea which looked amazing. Mix of seating (tables, sofa chairs, and bar chairs) makes the place great to hang out.

Super kind and accommodating staff! Went in this morning for a Thai tea for my toddler and I and on our way out, my wagons cup holder toppled over and poured my entire Thai tea onto my toddler and onto their floor 😱😫😣. I was so embarrassed but the two staff ladies were so kind to come over right away and clean up the huge mess for me and give me another Thai tea! I didn’t get their names but I love those ladies! I was so impressed by their kindness that I will definitely be coming back again and again and recommend this place to everyone I know! Hopefully won’t have any more “accidents” ever again, uggh. I stopped in this cafe with my girlfriend on a very rainy morning and am pleased to report that this place did not disappoint.Both of our sandwhiches were tasty, which you know is true when you both stop talking and start focusing on eating.The service was impeccable. So kind and warm and genuine - I would give this place 5 stars on service alone. However, the coffee was only okay, which for a coffee shop is a trademark menu item. 4 stars. I hang out there with my friends and get thai iced tea at an amazing price! on tuesdays the price is less for thai iced teas!! EVEN BETTER, the brownies there are killer and the italian sodas are really surprisingly amazing!! Cute, modest cafe serving sandwiches, bagels and blended coffee drinks across the street from a bus stop along Geary. The local regulars seem to like it a lot. You can also buy chips, cookies, and standard snacks to go with your sandwich. I dont see many laptop users here for some reason, so perhaps it isnt that kind of cafe. If youre in the vicinity, you might want to give Art Bistro a try.

Great Bagel specials for the early bird who has a grease spoon craving, but cant make it all the way to Mels Dinner. I recommend trying the BLT, and askem to go easy next time on whatever sauce they put on there. The coffee is fair, Id try a latte or something else. After sometime the back and forth staff Cantonese or Mandarin sort of wears on me, not as sexy of a language as French ( sorry to burst your bubble teas! ). Its the closest thing to heaven out there, as there isnt too many cafes, or really any life out there at all, unless its annoying high school wankers or a lost homeless person. I wonder whats further down before 40th Ave, that is a mission that could be taken, with of course, some Art Bistro goodness.
