👍🏽 Great food for a great price💥 Excellent Service💥 Super chill spot before 10pmMe and my wife came here for dinner around 8:00pm and the place was almost empty. We were seated quickly and the price of food will not hurt your wallet. Checking into yelp will give you a free drink so make sure you do that when arriving! Our server Andrea was very attentive to our needs and answered our questions without hesitation. The place was great for date night. After 10pm the place can be a bit crowded and the noise level gets much higher. On the weekends this place is open until 2:00AM and they get a lot of delivery orders so my best suggestion, get there early! If you haven’t checked this place out, do it!

Great experience and good food!I want to make it brief and easy to understand! The service, food, and beverages were all really good! The only thing I can really critique is the pricing, which felt a little high, but I didnt mind too much because I was enjoying my meal and the environment.Would I return??? Definitely!

For Thai food it’s my go to. The drunken noodles are delicious. Level 3 is spicy but just enough to enjoy the food. Order the bulgogi dumplings for appetizers. Try the mango sticky rice, thank me later.

Okay I rarely write reviews cause I figure it’s never that serious. But than a friend told me sometimes you have to in order for business to grow and people to learn. I walked in here at 11pm and 4 other guest was there at one table I waited at the door no one seated me so I walked in and sat down at a empty table by the register. No one greeted me so I got up to order my food instead the cashier as very nice and sweet but the server I don’t know what his problem was he was already talking nasty to one of his staff.. I sat down to wait for my food. A Asian couple walks in gets seated and he services them and 10 mins later they get they food before me… I only order fried fish and they got full entrees before me. Fine that’s cool than as I’m waiting my food comes out.. I begin to open it and he says “you can’t eat in here I’m about to start closing up” mind you it’s 1145 and they close at 1230 I look around and see the 4 people that was here before me hanging out and the Asian couple seated accross from me enjoying they meal. So I look over at them than look at him and he says “well you ordered take out so if you want I can surcharge you or you can eat outside” I said “ but it’s cold outside” he says “sorry but we are closing up” so he gives me my food and I asked for something else he gives me attitude than gives it to me. I walk outside to eat my food. I than began to see him at the register and talking for 20 mins as I begin to start eating my food OUTSIDE. What happened to your urgent need to clean?! And food … it’s not even great not exactly what I asked for but fine.. I go back in and ask the other server or assistant I guess and she’s sweet I ask for water as soon as she starts talking he cuts her off and says “just give him the to go cup” so I take my water and leave say good night get home safe and head to my car

My go-to late night meal in Hillcrest. The curries are good but tonight I tried the salmon on a bed of broccoli and carrot plate. As you can see from the photo, it included about one piece of broccoli and maybe a third of a carrot diced up for $17. Pretty disappointing meal. Stick with the curries or soups.

Stop picking up late night fast food! The Asian Bistro in hillcrest has got the greatest selection of Asian flavors in the area; and theyre open late! Has been a go to spot of mine for years, its refreshing to find a spot thats open late and still provides quality food! With vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options available; theres something for everyone here. They also have the best Thai Tea I have ever had on one of the most extensive drink menu Ive ever seen. The customer service has always been outstanding. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone that eats here is satisfied. So the next time youre looking for a great late night spot, be sure to give The Asian Bistro a try!

When I say, this is an experience! We came, unknowing what was in stored! The ambiance and customer service was superb! Instantly greeted when we walked in, before the door could close. We were tended to every step of our dining experience by both Shae and Christina! They were both very very kind, attentive to detailed, helpful in recommendation, and overly accommodating! Never saw the bottom of my cup; and finished dishes cleared immediately! And the kitchen!!! Dishes were full of flavor! Wonderful portions! We tried the recommendations of Crispy Rolls, Krah Prow and Joy Lucky Club (pulled Duck). I felt like they were trying to win us over effortlessly! The team at this establishment are really passionate about what they do, and it shows! Thank you all for your love and this experience! You are on our list for the next time we come to San Diego! A MUST try if you are reading this!

100/100 would recommend. I couldnt believe there werent more people eating here when I went. The service was wonderful and the food was phenomenal. Im sad Im just visiting because if I lived here Id eat here constantly. Do yourself a favor and order the roasted duck and papaya salad.

I would order curry to go from time to time and have average service. Showed up on a weekend before going out and ordered crispy egg rolls. The brought out spring rolls. I told the waiter I didnt want them. They refused to take them off and charged me for both egg rolls and spring rolls. Even gave me a box for spring rolls o didnt want. Terrible service. I understand not wanting a comp as a server but Ill never be back.

Best vegan tangerine chicken I have ever had! It was crispy and delicious. Even the carrots in the dish were cooked to perfection (vs being too raw or too mushy). It doesnt even touch the dishes I have had from vegan Asian restaurants in town. Cant wait to come back and try more of the dishes here! As a vegetarian, this just made my top 5 favorite restaurants in SD. I dont usually leave reviews but felt strongly about this place. 👍
