Delish...I always get the food delivered and without fail it tastes fabulous. Regarding atmosphere, its old and tired but who cares if the food is good....Back for more, but this time I was disappointed. Some green curry tasting like coconut shampoo. Beef with mushrooms garlic sauce and peppers... lifeless, boring, cooked by numbers quality!!!Could have been Grandma had a day of, who knows.And the last thing, the amount of rice you get with the takeout is so smallCome on Im not 3 years old I need more.Step up the game guys, hate to find a new place...

I gotta tell you, Thai Basil is a great value and a delicious place to bring your date, family and friends. The food is delicious, properly seasoned, and the staff will always accommodate your requests. Weve tried various things from the menu over several visits and have never been disappointed. Reasonable prices make this venue a slam dunk. Check it out and you likely wont be disappointed! Did I mention theyre blazing fast?

They make the best Drunken Noodles | Kee-Mao Ive ever had! The vegetables are grilled, giving them added flavor - so delicious. The service was extremely fast; we had our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Definitely recommend!

Ah, Thai food. How have I missed thee!Formerly Thai Basil many moons ago, when 7 Seas Tropical Fish was the main tenant of the plaza, The Basil bangs out delicious Thai food at a affordable price. Stopping by for lunch, I perused Thai Basils $10.95 lunch specials (additional for beef/shrimp/brown rice/fried rice), and chose pad thai. Being the national dish of Thailand, its the de facto bar which all Thai restaurants can be judged by.Lunch Special Pad Thai-Tangy & bright, which good pad thai should be. The generous amount of food was pleasing to my tummy. I relished each forkful of noodles. The included vegetable egg roll was crunchy, whereas the salad was a typical iceberg lettuce salad. At $10.95, this meal was a bargain.Service was good. The food didnt take long, at all. Ample seating via booths & tables, The Basil shares a private parking lot, and is locate on the right of The Donut Place.With prices rising on just about everything, The Basils $10.95 lunch specials are a sight for sore eyes & stomachs. I was thoroughly impressed by their pad thai, and am looking forward to frequenting the restaurant more, as Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, and I always wonder why I dont partake of it more often? Knowing the $10.95 price may not last long, considering everything going on in the world, I plan on taking advantage of it often & again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food as always, the pad se ew is to die for the pineapple curry and the ginger mushrooms with Thai ice tea. We didnt get the mango sticky rice tonight because we got there to late, but I highly recommend it. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Kids always love that food so ended up here to switch it up from the typical.Food - The reason for the 3 star review is based on quality of food. Ordered Tom kha Kai and the bowl was tiny with not enough chicken, mushrooms and a lil too sour. I forget the dish name with far noodles, but the flavor wasnt good and the noodles werent as soft.Drinks - The large Thai tea is huge, good in flavor and great price.Prices - Avg prices on dishes.Service - The 2 people I seen seem nice but should check up on tables a lil more.Venue - Clean and decent size but could use a remodeling.Overall disappointed with quality of food. Probably wont come back and give other shops a try.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Lakewood. The food is delicious, great portions, and presentation. Customer service is excellent. It is a very calm, peaceful environment. I highly recommend this restaurant. I also want to add that the bears are cute!

First time ordering from here and I really liked the food. I ordered a lunch special, which comes with an egg roll and side salad, in addition to the rice and entree. I think its a good amount of food and I like the container it came in, it has compartments. All of the sauces were also packaged really well and my order was out quickly. I found the thai tea a little too sweet for my taste, but I think thats just how thai teas are anywhere. Teddy bears in the dining room for this pandemic were a nice touch. Definitely coming back.

The family who runs this business is very nice and polite. The food is incredibly authentic. From what I could see, they seem to have a lot of return customers. Honestly, its the best Thai food within a 12 mile radius.

Ive been here many times. I brought a book group here, as well as my husband and friends individually. EVERYONE has enjoyed this place...the food is consistently good, their dishes of the day are creative and delicious, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the cost reasonable. The only reason I didnt go for a 5 is the location and the decorating, which could be a bit more upscale. What more can you ask for, from a small, comfortable restaurant in a strip mall?!

So glad we finally tried this place! The quality and portions are good. I stayed in my comfort zone and ordered pad see ew, drunken noodles, and gyoza and it was all delicious as expected! Im looking forward to trying something new next time.

Great service and excellent food make this quaint restaurant a must when in the area. $8 lunch special combos include either soup, an egg roll, or soup with your entree and steamed or fried rice. Hubby likes curries, and I like the garlic pepper meat. Large selection of A La Carte Thai food. They also have lunch specials with ample portions.

Food was awesome. Service was horrible. I felt rushed the entire time. I couldnt even sit down, he wanted my drink order. Menu is extensive and I was indecesive on what I wanted....felt rushed to order.....soup was delivered .....no napkins......then ordered coconut ice cream for dessert...really good then I was hovered over when the check was dropped off. That dude needs to take a step a back and relax. He had two tables and as a server myself, I didnt leave a tip. Not personable at all. Now I feel bad....KIND OF for not tipping. Ok maybe just a little.

Im always looking for good Pad Thai, and this place has it. It has the perfect amount of sauce, not soggy noodles. Great chicken satay, and really yummy fried rice. The atmosphere sucks but food is amazing.

We have patronized Thai restaurants all over the country and never had any bad food anywhere. This place is the exception. We ordered four separate dishes and they all looked about the same. My basil chicken had one basil leaf, tough chicken and no flavor. In fact none of the dishes had any flavor. We were shocked. I guess nobody in the parking lot on Saturday night at 6 PM should have registered.

Some dishes were good (Pad See Ew with tofu, Tom Yum soup), but the others were practically inedible, and I dont say that lightly. The Pad Woon Sen was somehow both flavorless *and* had clashing flavor. The Papaya Lime Salad had no lime, no spices, no peanuts, and tasted only of mediocre applejuice, to the extent that I wonder if they literally did use apple juice.If you end up eating here, stick to dishes that are hard to mess up, like Pad See Ew. The Tom Yum gets 4 stars, Pad See Ew 3.5, Pad Woon Sen gets 1, and papaya salad gets 0.At least they were fast? This was via delivery.

This place is all wrong. I feel like their not in touch with their Asian roots. How could you not have chopsticks and sriracha and why would you change thai boat noodles and named it something different. Just keep it simple and original. Btw the food wasnt that great.
