Great cocktails, pretty consistent with sf cocktail prices. Friendly and quick service. Tried several of the shared bites and enjoyed the fried popcorn chicken and fries the most. Pretty standard bar food. We rented the back room which was a great place to gather but slightly loud to talk as a whole group

Stopped in on a Friday night and got 2 seats at the bar. Great atmosphere and the bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We got 2 drinks and they both were absolutely delicious. Would definitely come back here again for a pre or after dinner cocktail 🐝

Stopped to get french fries after Mannys Weekly Neighborhood Disco Trash Cleanup, and staff was friendly and helpful. Took fries to go and ate at the park next door to enjoy some sun! Fries were large and came with mayo and ketchup. I love that they give you both! Fries were just the right amount or crispy and not oily. Plus they were long so plenty of dipping surface. Bathrooms were clean and they had lots of seating options. Will need to swing by another day and try a drink. But will be supporting and promoting this venue!

We came here the first Friday night it was open, and it was packed. Even with standing room only, the bar staff were friendly, quick, and attentive, answering tons of our cocktail questions with a smile. The decor is sweet, with a long white marble bar in the front and a large lounge area in the back with private coves for groups. They take reservations for the back room. At $13 a cocktail it isn’t cheap, but the quality and experience is worth it. Cheers

A nice little cocktail bar just off Valencia with some very creative drinks. Stop by the Beehive if youre looking for friendly bartenders and a fun drink. Youll find that their menu pulls from across the liquor cabinet with fun twists and aromatic garnishes.The space inside the bar is a little small and can get quite loud, so Id recommend avoiding peak hours.

A fun bar I went after dinner for a few drinks. The staff was nice and attentive and the cocktails were interesting and delicious. I had the Thunderbird and my girlfriend had Miami nice, and a green Emmanuelle. Her drinks were tasty as well. Plan on returning in the future.

The cocktails are delicious. However, they absolutely refused to serve me any basic non alcoholic drink. On a night I met friends there but wasn’t drinking, they said they were unable to make a cranberry soda, and said they would “see what they could do” about making a lemonade after I declined their house mocktail. They returned with a different mocktail, instead. I understand if there’s a per-person minimum spend, but why refuse to make a basic drink? This is a bar I’ve seen whip up any off-menu, classic cocktail perfectly, so I was surprised they couldn’t make something simpler with no ABV.

Went for a drink on a Saturday afternoon, there were tables available both inside and out. Cocktails were fun and fruity, $15 each. They have a daily frozen cocktail slushy as well. The inside was very chic and looked like a great place for a date! We brought our dog and sat outside, they brought him treats which he loved!

Me and my husband went to to this Beehive bar on a Friday night last week. The guy outside who checked for IDs didn’t let us in and said the bar is full and couldn’t take any other customers in. We asked to be put in the waitlist but he didn’t even let us do it when the bar wasn’t even that busy, many empty spaces. He then let another group of people in and refused to let us in and we asked why, he said ‘cause the other girl in the group worked there when clearly she wasn’t. It’s not the first time me and my husband went to this bar, we went here several times before but last Friday night was the first time the guy outside refused to let us in and we think the manager should do better about managing their staff. Will not return to this bar again!

This note is mostly for the manager- we were treated SO WELL by a server on 6/23 at 7pm (asian gentleman)- he was so thoughtful in his approach to help us manage our time at beehive, as we had an upcoming dinner reservation and were concerned about not being able to sit at the bar. it’s pride weekend and it just got busier and busier but he still kept an eye on us and treated us so well (even though it’s a team server environment). it’s really too much to type but know that this person brings you business and definitely helps people stay even when crowded. you are very lucky to have him on staff! he left an amazing impression on us at your establishment :)

Fun drink menu in a retro groovy space. Finger food menu, but not dinner — although it works for dinner if your not ravenous. TIP: It’s hopping by 7pm — 5:30pm is awesome cuz you can still get a great seat at the bar.

Nice bar with a mid century modern vibe. All of the drinks are intriguing and sound delicious. All of the bartenders are very knowledgeable and can give you stellar recommendations for whatever mood that you are in. I have never tried the food here, only the drinks, which I have tried a few of. I have only been here when it hasnt been too crowded, so service has always been prompt.

So upon entry the hostess was super aggressive about the “mask policy” and then I pointed out to her that no one was wearing a mask inside…and she came up with some excuse while secretly asking the security guard to talk to all the ppl who weren’t wearing mask…. It was comical. And then I paid $15 for a cube of ice. Everyone was talking so loudly that I’m screaming at my friends, but I also can’t actually hear the music either…. so it’s a typical bar in SF. It’s very cute inside so I believe that counts for something..right?

Holy snarf! That was an amazing slider. I was a bit skeptical when only one tiny Slider arrived, and it took more time than expected for the order. I came here to get a beer and a bite to eat after volunteering at an educational workshop yesterday. I just wanted to relax a bit after a very long day!I showed my vax and ID card at the door, and I was allowed in. The bartenders and everyone working there was all smiles. Everyones completely nice, so it was relaxing.I had a beer and the fried Chicken bits, and the beer was really good. The fried chicken bits really satisfied a craving. There was music, I think the group beside me was celebrating something. Overall, the atmosphere was very relaxed and happy.When my check came, I didn’t give a HUGE tip, but I gave them a bit more than 15%. I kind of wished I gave a slightly bigger tip because everything was quite lovely. I guess I was just thinking about getting back because my phone was dying, and I didn’t actually know the area too well. Next time though! I’m sure I will go back because it is near where I do my volunteering.

If you wish to avoid the crowds/loud volume, come before 9pm.The drinks have great flavors and are well balanced, generous in portion/pour.The food, INSANELY delicious. Ive already tried half the menu and nothing has been a disappointment.Look closely at the menu and youll find a secret menu ;)The staff is friendly and attentive. Our waitress on 5/24 was fantastic; attentive and was great at describing the drinks.Byron Gee, the executive chef is fantastic. A total sweetheart and really knows what hes doing with the food. Hip new cocktail spot on Valencia. Nice liquor selection for its cocktails. I questioned the bartender about the bourbon price when I received my bill. He checked with the manager right after, the manager came to me and told me that the price for it was incorrect and I that I overpaid and he corrected the charges right there. I was able to chat with the manager a bit about bourbons for a bit after that and got some tips as to where I can find a few hard to find bottles in the city.Super nice back area with more lounge style seating (front and middle areas are mostly high chairs).

Absolutely loved this place! Its a little on the smaller side which makes it intimate but yet leaves enough space so youre not on top of each other. Came here on a friday night and the place literally was a beehive. So many people, and the narrow hallway made it hard to walk without spilling your drinks. But the drinks looked realllly good so we decided to stay. We were able to find someone to place the order quickly but it took over 20 mins for our drinks to be ready. I got the Bikini Drifter and DH got Moda Royale. Both drinks were fantastic and we wanted to try more but decided to come on a weekday night maybe when the place is less crowded. Some people were having a birthday party in the back and it looked fun. Bar tenders were making drinks at an amazing pace!

The bartenders were super quick with taking orders and turned around solid drinks, and the servers were no less quick and accommodating. Most vegetarians are vegan nowadays. Cows have to keep giving birth to make milk. The calves are taken away after a few hours and slaughtered.

Beware $195 unauthorized charges! No phone contact info listed on the website. My wife attended this location and spent about $93 on herself and her friend, but also recieved an unauthorized $195 charge ($300 total). There is an email address for event planning, but no recourse for quick contact with a live person. I left a message with their sister bar, The Third Rail, which just so happened to list a phone number, well see if there is any attempt to contact me...... Tristen Philppart deFoy followed up with us the same evening after I posted this, but he treated my wife very rudely, with condescension, acted as if he were the one doing us a favor, made excuses, and passed the blame onto their point of sale software provider, Breadcrumb, and never once apologized on behalf of the business he was respresenting. Oddly, I felt as though I were back in my customer service rep days again, as I was the one who had to calm him down, not the role I was expecting to play.Ultimately, the unauthorized charges were reversed. I was hoping to raise the rating once I was reimbursed, but Tristens failure to appropriately handle a situation where the customer was 100% NOT at fault keeps me from doing so.ADVICE: If this happens to you, just go through your credit card company to reverse the charges, dont deal with Tristen.

Terrible management. We tried to get a drink while waiting for dinner next door but it took forever. Our waitress had us pay before we even got our cocktails and when we complained to the manager he checked our order time on camera and it was only 27 minutes, not 30 and refunded us the tip we had given the waitress. Absurd.
