Super tasty chicken for my standard. Uhm.... I ate the original kimbap, tuna kimbap, and 24 pieces of soy sauce-flavored, honey-garlic-flavored chicken wings, and it was Korean-style chicken that met my standards. It means it was delicious. For my personal taste, the soy sauce seasoning was lighter and better, and I want to try the houl chicken, bulgogi, and kimchi kimbap next time.
Called in my order. Got there and it took quite a while but they gave me free French fries while I waited which was nice. I got the honey garlic wings and the sweet and spicy wings. They were the best bone-in wings I’ve had in my life. 10/10
I had the soy garlic and sweet & spicy chicken wings, which were both really good. The wings were crispy and flavorful. The orders also came with a free soda and pickled radish. If you want to try a couple different flavors, you can’t order half and half on the 16 pieces of wings; you have to order the 8 pieces separately. I also had the Bulgogi kimbap which was delicious. The service was great; it does take a little bit of time for the food to come out but it’s worth it. I’m glad there’s a Korean fried chicken place nearby instead of driving down to SD to satisfy my KFC cravings.
Their business hours is not accurate. It says 4:00 to 10pm on Sunday. We went there 4:10pm and they said they will open 4:30. Not a good business! We came back at 4:40 to order to go. He said it will take 1 hour to cook. That’s it! We are not going back to that restaurant! Now, they’re doing monkey business to their customer. Don’t even call because their business phone is not even set up! They should not conduct a business at all!!! 😡😡
I really wanted to like this place and support a family owned Korean restaurant. Im hoping they have the chance to see this review and improve...I came in around 7:10 pm to order some food to-go. Its very hard to find the place, but if you knew where the Hi Tofu restaurant was, this is the same location. There was a table of 4 that was already seated and in the midst of ordering. Also there was a door dash or phone order that was already being made when we entered.We ordered right after the four-top ordered. The guy handling the front was pretty nice. But we over heard from when the table was ordering that they didnt have any steamed rice... which i thought was weird since 1. Its a Korean place and 2. They make kimbap so they have to make rice... Anyway, we asked for the bulgogi kimbap and he said it was sold out, so we settled for the Tuna kimbap. I also ordered a half-chicken original, half-chicken soy garlic, and 8 piece honey garlic wings. He mentioned it would take about 30 minutes. We said OK.He brought out the check after about 5 minutes and also said that each entree came with a free can of soda. 10 minutes after that (7:30) he told us that they ran out of chicken so we had to switch one of our orders to wings. There was a price difference so i had to get a refund too... Then we waited some more until 8 (45 min mark) and i told the guy up front that i had to pick up my kid from practice and that Id be back. He said it would be another 10 mins. I couldnt wait so we left and came back 30 minutes later.Almost 1 hr to get your food is pretty terrible especially when theres only one other customer there. The ambience was awkward because there was no music or TV on, and you could hear the owners bickering in the back, a little flustered. Anyway I saved my judgement until I got home and tried the food. It was actually pretty good (at least the chicken was). We got our free sodas and the sides of pickled radish. My daughter ate all the tuna kimbap so I guess she liked it? So the food gets 5 stars but everything else really needs to improve. They dont even have a yelp presence yet (it has been at least a week or two since theyve been open)... Theres so much to fix. I will give them another try in a month to see if they work out their issues. But they need someone that knows how to manage a restaurant in this age.
Multiple different flavors of the fried chicken I remember so well from my time in Korea. Not only that but they also sell Kimbap and a few other classic Korean foods. Finally I dont have to go all the way to San Diego or Irvine for Korean fried chicken anymore. And even if I did The BKC is the best one ive had in Cali so far.
I really love the plants in the lobby/entrance way. The young man was pleasant and respectful. I did not enjoy the chicken. $14.99 is a bit overpriced for the 8 piece wing. It’s unfortunate they run out items as I originally wanted to try the half chicken but was told it was unavailable.
It was hard to find, but it is worth the search. Wings & Kimbab are second to none. My Wife is from Korea, she said it is the best Kimbab shes ever had, and I feel the same way about the Wings!

Don’t know where yall been eating. This place is a ghost. Went to the address, couldn’t find it. Tried calling, no answer. Asked a local, never heard of it. I really despise phantom restaurants and reviews. Don’t waste your time.

The fried chicken and the rest of the food met my expectations. The staff is super friendly, and the owner is amazing. Make sure to call ahead for pick-up; it normally takes up to 25 minutes.
The information on Google Maps is clearly open, but they came all the way but were turned away!

2023-07-20 22:53:54BKC serves authentic Korean fried chicken, Kimbap, Ddukbokki, and more. I’ve tried a lot of Korean fried chicken and BKC’s chicken is highly ranked in my book. The garlic butter chicken is coated in a buttery, sweet garlic sauce that melts in your mouth while giving that nice crunch from the fried chicken. Their kimbap is plated nicely and tastes fresh. I can taste the individual flavors of the vegetables and protein because the kimbap has a thin layer of rice.Service was personable as they make sure every table is 100% satisfied.

Sauce was flavorful and wings were juicy.Also got sweet potato fries and regular fries. The sweet potato fries had great texture and crunch but the regular fries were a little lacking in texture and too salty.The restaurant was clean and the service was good.

2023-11-19 22:18:40This restaurant went above & beyond for our friends birthday. We had a last minute change of plans for dinner and called ahead for our group to see if they could host us. They were super accommodating, friendly, and their food was so good. Their snacks like fries and dumplings were crispy and tasty, the star of the show is the chicken. The honey garlic & sweet+ spicy were our favorite flavors. Soy garlic was also a good flavor. They brought a dessert, turned off the lights and we got to sing happy birthday to our friend. It was so special.

2023-07-17 03:23:51As a frequent visitor to Temecula from LA, I hold Korean food to the high expectations of ktown...and BKC did not disappoint. Ordered the Korean rice cake (Dduk Bokki), the original Kimbab, and fried dumplings...and WOW, it was both authentic and delicious!! If you havent had their Dduk Bokki, this traditional Korean street food is a delight..but its especially amazing after a night of drinking, a night of over indulgence, if youre feeling under the weather, or if you just want great Korean food. BKC is a must have and a MUCH needed culinary addition to the boring Temecula food scene.

2023-08-08 08:04:41They have really good fried chicken. Theres a bit of a wait time but they make everything from scratch, so, youll get fresh food. The server was nice. He was there by himself plus the cook but still managed to get us informed what was happening, bring our food while it was hot, and refill our water without asking for it.
