The Buffet in Valley Center

We had no wait time on a weekday. Our food arrived quite timely. Im glad everyone in our party had a great meal. I enjoyed my burger. My party also had steak and an order of bone-in wings. For dessert they also had a chocolate Sunday appropriate for 2 servings. Overall everything was good.

So we came to the buffet at Valley for the 1st time on a Wednesday night. It was a good two hour wait but so worth it. I like to travel and love buffets, so Ive been to many in Vegas and all around. And this one just jumped into 1st place as my favorite. The system they got here is very effective where you have a server that brings you whatever you want. They are fast & very friendly. The food is all delicious and cooked perfectly. The lobster is the specialty, I recommend the spicy and the garlic butter. The dessert menu is also huge. The portions are just perfect. Definitely will be returning!!

Its ok... Since COVID happened in 2020 this place became a place where you order and the staff will get the food for you. It can be very busy by the time you get your food you might not want what you ordered anymore or something else.Sometimes you will be forgotten when its super busy and the food will come out before your drinks.Theres only one dish I dont recommend ordering is the beef and asparagus lomein. Why?You get a lot of noodles with only 1 or 2 strips of tiny beef. And the asparagus Its you either get it or you do not at all or you get broccoli. I ordered that dish twice on Separate days to see if it was just a mistake, it truly is a huge mistake they shouldnt even have it on the menu.I think they need to have a paper comment card for guest opinions at the end of their meals about the dishes. Many old folks are not going to leave a comment on Google theyre not very tech savvy. The staff working are friendly and always doing their best.

Been here many times for the lobster buffet. Whenever I dined here the line is not too long.I remember not wanting to eat the lobster as I preferred crab legs instead. The lobster tails do look a bit small and I remember once when i did not like the taste.The crab legs on the other hand is cut open for you and more desirable for me. The selection of food is good but nothing great. Also, not too many choices on the hand carved meats. When i was there last, They were serving Prime Rib and sausage. Possibly its the timing and they were getting more meat.Now, our server, meh, Ive had much better. He barely came around and our plates were stacking up. When I asked for something from him he had a funny stare.If youre in the area give them a try. For me, Id go elsewhere.

Delicious food. Absolutely worth the price. Thankfully it’s a buffet so you can order unlimited steak and seafood. They are operating by Covid standards meaning the staff has to take your order each round and they are the ones that go to the buffet bars and grab your food for you. You stay at the table the whole time, which is fine, you just have to flag down staff as they are passing by for your needs. Would recommend trying! Also, you do need to sign up for a casino play card ( it’s free) in order to eat at The Buffet.

Best seafood buffet 😋 especially lobsters and crab legs. Great variety of Asian and Mexican food as well.

Misleading. This is NOT a buffet. At the register there is a sign theaters reads, we will ask everyone to pay a 7.00 tip on top of the 49.00. The sign should read, its mandatory. Which is now no longer a tip. Its a fee or surcharge. A tip is when you reward your server for great service. Now there is no incentive for great service. Also covid is over!! Its been over!! Time to move on and go back to normal!! Everyone else has.

The famed buffet was okay. It was not impressive as most people made it out to be. I guess if youre a seafood lover, you might think its impressive.Some of the food was packaged like the dessert. The photos they stream of the food while you wait, dont match what comes to the table. I was disappointed with the fried chicken.

I do now know what they did, but the timing and service were amazing this time around. My mom and I decided to go to the buffet. We were expecting to wait up to 3 hours, but lo and behold, we arrived at the buffet line around 530pm on a Friday night, and there actually was NO LINE to come in. Usually, we would need to take a pager and wait up to 1 hour to stand in line for another hour, but not this time!The food has always been delicious, which made it worth waiting with the long lines. The quality of the food this time was just as good as before.I dont know how they were able to fix the long lines and wait times, but Im grateful they did. Definitely recommend trying at least once!

The food is great. Everything we were looking for and more. We were disappointed in the way you wait to be seated. First a beeper, then the line and then seated. The whole experience took an hour and a half. Be prepared to wait. Having said that, the food and servers are so worth the wait. We thought the severs are stretched thin, but they do the best they can. I would suggest more servers. It would improve service. We will be back as soon as we can. Very enjoyable stay!
