Absolutely beautiful shop! I stopped by because I was curious about getting a really nice cheese to pair with the Prosecco I had at home. Little did I know I was in for an amazing experience! The employees were extremely welcoming and friendly, giving me samples of pungent and rich cheeses. I enjoyed perusing their curated selection of fine goods and even liquor like a lovely Mezcal. The employee directed me to a triple cream Brie from Burgundy that he said would pair well with a prosecco and it was heavenly smooth and rich. I will be back soon to order a sandwich and pick up some of the cool liquor and wine they carry.

This place is perfection! You cannot go wrong with recommendations from Dom, Norbert or Tony. Amazing selection of cheese — very knowledgeable staff. Delicious sandwiches & salads, fresh pasta, homemade sauce plus a lovely selection of wine. The new location is beautiful and easy parking.A total pleasure! Thank you!!

I’m a former cheesemonger at another L.A. cheese shop (shhh…) and came here because my old employer doesn’t ship. I needed things sent to the Midwest. Long story short, this place is amazing and I want to work here 🤩😂 The selection is beautiful, the samples were generous enough to really taste the cheese, they were patient and funny and helpful and sweet. They collaborated to get me what I needed. No one who came in after me had to suffer and wait because of this— there attentive to everyone. The shipping rate was stunningly reasonable. But what really put me over the edge to write this review? Jay, the gentleman who helped me with the shipping on Thursday, texted me today, Sunday, to make sure everything arrived yesterday at its destination. Amazing. Thank you Cheese Store if Beverly Hills!! I’m a convert.

Walked in to get a hostess gift. Was not really sure what to get her so I asked Norbert for assistance. I told him how much I wanted to spend and left the decision making in his experienced hands. He was very polite and kind. He suggested product and offered me samples of the cheeses he selected. Outstanding service and I left with a beautiful basket that I am proud to give as a gift. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this adorable store.

A beautiful store filled with great wine, an enormous selection of delicpus cheeses from around the world, and a bountiful amount of information that will make you think twice of how cheese is really made and cared for. Over all a very friendly, informative, and tasty store to stop by.

Been coming to the cheese store of Beverly hills for years now - there is no cheese shop like it. Selection of cheeses and customer service is unreached. If you are looking for a speciality cheese, chances are they have it. A bit pricy, but worth it for the quality & service. Will be coming here with all my friends and family.

Lets start with me saying I do not like cheese... pretty much at all. Never eat it. What I do like, is the artisinal aspect when it comes to creating food... and as a result of that, I tried some cheeses here.Yeah, this place is expensive... but, it is more than worth it. Maybe we caught a good slow day, or maybe not. But my family spent almost an hour with the cheese monger talking about different flavors of cheese, where they come from, how theyre made, and trying all sorts of different cheeses. It was a fantastic experience not just with the amount and variety of cheeses they offer, but on a personal level.While its a haul to get to this place for us, and we can only buy so much, we will certainly be going back.I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates the art of cheese and great customer service.

Tiny shop with the best cheeses I have ever eaten. We were able to get a piece of the Rouge River Bleu cheese that just won an award for Worlds Best Cheese. We also got some 15 year old cheddar from Hook that blew out minds. They let you sample the cheeses, and have lots of neat cheese accompaniments for a really spectacular cheese presentation.

Came here for work party. I know nothing of wine or cheese ( other than Kraft singles) so this was cool learning and tasty cheeses and mortadella. I enjoyed all the little crackers and breads but my lactose coworkers were than thrilled. but our server was quite patient and offered me great suggested pairings so I was quite happy and would enjoy coming back again.

I didnt know they made crack houses out of cheese. This place is AMAZING. Stick to the cheeses though; the Euro-product and wines can be pricey. The staff are all passionate about cheese and know their products very well. Highly recommend this place for that special picnic or wine tasting event or just because you woke up today.

Our office was the lucky recipient of a cheese and meat tray this week. Everything was beautifully presented and get this- even the baguettes were sliced for us! Im sure this was quite expensive, but in the middle of the hectic holiday season, it is quite the treat. There were two slabs of brie, cappicola and salami, squares of sharp cheddar and another cheese Im not sure what it was. There were three spreads too- olive, artichoke and a cranberry compote. What a great gift!

Although the staff was not that forthright about seeing if we had any questions, once they did make first contact, I was astounded by their expertise about the wide selection. I bought 3 rounds of camembert and 0.5 lbs of smoked scamorza, which is a south italian cows milk cheese. I also asked for an employee (possibly the owner?) to recommend two triple cream cheeses to me, and I bought the one that I liked more after taste testing them. All of the cheeses have been exceptional so far --definitely worth the high prices. When I asked for a moderately priced cheese, one person behind the counter commented with refreshing honesty that nothing here is moderately priced. However, as much comes with the territory of Beverly Hills. Notably, the cheeses were wrapped in butcher paper, which I liked because I think it helps the cheeses to breath and to keep fresh.I withhold one star because almost many of the cheeses lacked price tags, names, or descriptions, which made me feel somewhat at the mercy of the employees limited time and advice. Although I was told the name of my triple cream once, I wish that they had offered to write it down for me, because its foreign syllables left my brain nearly as quickly as it entered them, and I would have loved to research the cheese so that I can buy more in the future. When I asked why they didnt label the cheeses, one employee remarked that they did so in the past but had to remove the labels since they were posted on cheese markers that penetrated the wrapping, apparently violating health codes. However, I dont understand why they cant label the cheeses with regular labels, like at other cheese stores.

This place is amazing! Marnie and Lyddie are the best - what an awesome concept. I got the burrata and it was mouth watering. The presentation was so beautiful! I dont know if the pesto is house made, but it was a little chunky, which I really like, and perfect. The farro salad was also delicious and had the perfect amount of cheese and flavor. I want to eat the whole menu! :) Really well done, ladies.

As a chef, this is the best store you can find. It has things that you just cannot find anywhere at all. The is a reason that it was called the best cheese shop in the world on Food Network. The staff is great with amazing culinary knowledge. Might be my favorite store in the city!

Bought 4 cheeses and a bottle of wine which the clerk put into a bag. When I got home one of the cheeses, which was soft, had been crushed.When I called and complained about this situation, the only offer the person on the phone made was, Gee, Im sorry, but thats never happened before.Last visit to this place. While the cheese may be good, the service and support is not.

Excellent selection of cheeses, and wonderful freshly-baked breads so you can one-stop shop anytime. Tons of cheese pairings - honey, nuts, mostarda, crackers, quince paste, lots of tapas fixings, you name it they have it from every country. Wine, pasta, dried beans, extra virgin olive oil plus all kinds of flavored oils, salts, for a relatively small store it is packed with good tasting things. And if you dont have the right cheese knife or board they have everything you can imagine and more.
