I think this might be my first complete 5 star rating for a restaurant. Good food, service and atmosphere. Ever since I saw this restaurant featured so often in a little show called big bang theory, I always wanted to try it. I now understand why they ate there so often. Though not sure how they afforded it. Which is probably my only complaint about it. Its a little pricey. But oh is the food delicious. You need to at least try it out once. And make sure to get cheesecake for dessert. So take fifty or so bucks with you to lay for the meal, dessert and drink.

We had a great time in our visit. We got there at 10 pm on friday and we got seated right away. Our waiter did a great job, and he came by our table in a timely manner. The food was delicious (thank you chef). The ambience very relaxing. We enjoyed our time. If I am ever in the city we will return!

Cheesecake Factory is an easy choice for meals. I like that theres ao much to choose from because they have a big menu. Its a hit and miss depending on where youre at, what you order and what time of day it is. But the cheesecakes are always on point.This location in Oceanside is huge! There was a 10min wait when we came for lunch. We sat outside and enjoyed their complimentary bread and butter. Thats always delicious! I was not very hungry so I ordered from the appetizer menu (assorted spring rolls). It was too oily. I bite into each one and my lips felt greasy.I should have ordered my usual pasta or rice. Nonetheless, service is great and keylime cheesecake made up for it.

I went to lunch today and had the Jambalaya which has always been a favorite of mine here, todays was the freshest and tastiest I’ve ever had at CF. We had Jessica as a server and she was an excellent server.Update: food is still delicious but the prices have skyrocketed like every other place. The music has gotten pretty loud in the dining room and weird with hallelujah songs. My favorite jambalaya dish is now over $25!

Always one of our favorites and we hardly ever get cheesecake! Our favorites are the fried zucchini with a side of marinara sauce and the chicken piccata. The brown bread is great. Wonderful salads too!

I came here at 9:30 and ordered my food to-go. I ordered the gumbo. The cashier seemed nice at first. It was a very long wait. Last time I ordered from here they forgot the chicken. So, this time I checked before leaving.They forgot the shrimp this time. I informed her of this. She immediately walked off saying shell ask for a side of shrimp instead of just taking the gumbo to have it fixed. She came back and told me itll be right out.I asked, Will it be cooked the same...? Will it taste the same?Her response was, yeah, you can just throw it in.I asked, is that how they usually make it?She says, yeah!So I say, oh okay fully accepting this as fact.She brings out the shrimp. I open the container to check it. Its pan seared (overcooked looking) shrimp with the tails still on. I say, uhh, the tails are still on...😅She says, you could pull them off.Not knowing how to respond I just say, uhhh.... 😅She then says, I could take a knife and cut them off for youuuuWondering if this really happening I start to look around for hidden cameras.With a complete attitude shift she says, Im just trying to be accommodating, maam. 😤😒In response I could only laugh and cover my face in embarrassment. She was a completely different person.I politely ask, actually, can I just get my money back...? 😅She says, Let me get my manager!And runs off.The manager comes over, hi! I heard they gave you the wrong shrimp?Yeah.... I respond.He takes the food, let me fix that for you! Completely ignoring any previous request for a refund.So I just say, If you could just have it made correctly with everything included....?😅Sure, no problem! He replied as he walked off.I wait nervously questioning if I even wanted the food. With the weird way people were behaving I was scared to eat anything and wish I had stood my ground on asking for that refund. They seem wacko enough to tamper with peoples food just because theyre having a bad day.He comes out with the food and says, Here ya go maam! I even had them add extra shrimp for you!Weird, I dont want extra shrimp. I just want it made correctly. Now the proportions are going to be off? Whatever. I just awkwardly nodded my head and said, okay.... as he awkwardly placed the food down probably due to sensing my own awkwardness.I checked the food and it looks completely different from the previous one they gave me. The original looked normal, but it was just missing shrimp. I get the gumbo all the time from various locations. This is the only location thats really weird. The second gumbo they gave me looked strange like curry. I struggled for a few minutes asking myself and my mom if I should just get a refund. She said, yeah, but Im always paranoid about my food. Get one if you want. I asked my friend on the phone who I sent a picture of the gumbo to, but he was responding extremely slowly. My mom got tired of waiting and started walk out so I followed her. Finally, my friend says, yeah, Id ask for my money back. Even my coworker says he wouldnt trust that! And they both started laughing and sneering at the picture of the food. I told them it was too late because I already left the building. Because the place took so long we left when they closed.I now have food in the fridge Im too afraid to eat. Im hoping to get a refund tomorrow. Also, they didnt provide any complimentary bread which I know they had because I saw waiters walking around with them. I also ordered the crispy crab bites, I tried those because we didnt go through a whole ordeal with them and have them brought back to the kitchen to be tampered with. They were burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Raw dough coating. Not good. This is also something Ive always gotten for years so I know how theyre supposed to taste.Long story short, dont trust this place. The people here are ghetto.Drive further for a better location. The outdoor seating is nice, but they need to clean their booths and seats. We asked our waitress Jessica to turn the heater on right next to us and she said it didnt work we would have to use another and never brought it over or turned it on for us. Food is great. Need more GF options.

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, it was about a 6.5/10, good but not great. Probably would not order it again. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and Chicken with Brown Rice. My girlfriend ordered the Louisiana Chicken Pasta. She loved the Bang Bang Shrimp, she practically ate it all!

Food was excellent but it seems like theyre out of several dishes fairly often (out of 3 visits, they were out of at least 1 dish each time). Parking is always a pain when its not basically dead at the mall.A good tip, get on the wait list early using the website then its not a bad wait when its busier.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I’ve been here twice now and I refrained from leaving a negative review the first time in case they were having an off day, but the experience was just as bad the 2nd time around.The first time I visited for dinner, the waiter was pretty rude and unfriendly. We ordered the spaghetti, which was incredibly bland and the burger, which they got wrong. The soda was completely flat, we had to ask the waiter to replace it 2 times until he went to another fountain on the 3rd time - he was definitely upset at me for asking.They were sold out of wings, which I’m not deducting any points for since the supply chain shortage has been causing issues all over.Came a 2nd time for happy hour. I asked for the happy hour burger but as an impossible vegetarian burger. My friends come here often and do this all the time at no charge, but the manager on duty decided to charge me and additional $10 because I wanted impossible parties. The difference in price is $3 so this makes no sense. We also ordered chicken samosas which were burnt and deformed.Don’t think I’ll come here again. I gave it 2 chances before leaving a negative review and on both occasions my experience has been horrendous.

Im pretty upset so I have to put this down: I am a person who has issues with food due to illness, so sometimes its a great experience and I want something really big to enjoy. Other times, I have to say only soup and a salad, or maybe just bread if its that bad. I get sometimes things wont be on the menu and given that Cheesecake Factory has a REALLY big menu, its hard to tell whats going to be left for other people to eat. So when I wanted Clam Chowder and a small side salad, and was told that itd be available, I geared myself towards that. But then it didnt happen, so I tried to saddle myself with having just a Caesar Salad...but it ended up being tossed TWICE and was soggy cheese (which honestly was making me feel even more sick). The thing I hated most about my experience was the aggressive attitude that man took with us. The one who was wearing the white shirt, who I assume was part of the management? He kept pushing me on whether or not I wanted old clam chowder they could heat up, not even registering how rude and pushy he was being-and Im already feeling sick to my stomach and wanting to leave the restaurant. So while I feel in other ways this could have been an okay trip, I dont think its appropriate for your staff to be so aggressive, especially to someone who is sick and feeling horrible about themselves now. Thanks for scaring me away from wanting to eat for the rest of today. Im just going to sit with the bad sensations the entire experience left me with.

This was my first time ever going to a Cheesecake Factory restaurant and it was a awesome experience. The food was delicious 🤤 and the waitress was really nice and kept checking on us. And of course the cheesecake was delicious too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a nice meal.

We got there pretty late knowing the wait could be up to an hour. We werent seated till 45 minutes before closing. We chose to sit outside because we had our dog with us. Our server was a recent hire and had a hard time getting the bread and drinks out to the table in a timely manner. However, as the restaurant cleared out, the rest of the service was prompt. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had run out of chicken, so we had to substitute for one of the dishes (even though the manager came a little later and notified us that they were making our original order... We got the substitute.) Still, the food was amazing and everyone loved their desserts.Update: We were seated inside this time (opted for 1st available) as most were on the wait-list for a patio table. Our server was a delightful woman with a gentle accent. She was perfect: gave us just the right amount of time to decide what we were ordering, got our orders right, brought our drinks and food out right away, and was just very charming to my kids. Everyone loved their dishes so much that two of us couldnt even take a bite of our dessert. We order the loaded potato tots as an appetizer and I got the salad with beets, avocado, citrus, and arugula (so good). Two of us ordered burgers (stuffed cheese and bacon bacon), two ordered pasta (spaghetti and meatballs and the Bistro shrimp), and the birthday boy ordered the truffle honey chicken cutlets (outstanding). We had such a pleasant time.

Very nice and kind server but very slow with food. It wasn’t full or very busy but not much staff. Two pastas were as usual but one wasn’t. Manager wasn’t really apologetic and she seemed pissed. Not a great Cheesecake Factory, had been to many all over US but this was one of the most disappointing visits.

It is a delightful place to eat. The server was outstanding. The server did not put me next to other people. Every other table was closed. They offered me a drink and bread within 3 minutes. The server filled my glass three times during the time I was eating. I asked the server a question about salads when I was trying to decide what to eat. He was able to help me pick a very good salad. It turned out to be one of the best salads I have had in a long time. It was an Almond Crusted salmon salad. The salmon was perfectly cooked and worm and the salad was green and fresh with a very lovely soft oil dressing. Just enough oil so the lettuce would not taste dry. The server always kept an eye on me to make sure I had everything I needed. I gave him a 25% tip. Its a nice place to bring a friend. The place was very clean and all the servers wore a mask.

My first time to the Cheesecake Factory, and I really enjoyed it! Beautiful restaurant, they have a lovely patio out front, and a cute terrace in the back of the restaurant inside the shopping mall. Comfortable seating, and a lovely bar area as well. The menu is loaded with all kinds of great dishes, drinks, & desserts. We had a very good food server named Michelle, and she was smiling, very gracious, and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable, relaxed, & enjoyed the whole experience immensely. Try it, you will like it!

The everything flatbread pizza was delicious but I was a little disappointed by the house salad. Tossed greens and 4 small tomato wedges pre-tossed with blue cheese dressing. If youre like me Id like to add my dressing myself. I also had a drink with my meal and I have to say that was done very well. I feel their food is a bit overpriced we paid over $100 for three people at lunch.

First, online website said they were offering dine in. (They were not because the outside patio area was closed)Next, The price for the quality of food is not good. I ordered a club sandwich the bread wasnt even toasted and the tomatoes were soggy.Ordered for 3 kids... Spaghetti has cherry tomatoes in it. (My daughter wouldnt eat it) kids menu is only up to the age of 10. So if you are limiting the age because of price maybe think about people that have picky eaters. I asked before ordering if it was plain regular sauce and was told yeah.*ordered cheese flatbread pizza crust was soggy and cheese was barely melted.Only plate that was alright was the Chicken Fettuccine... Then we ordered cheese cake when put in the bag they were on there side I had a 2 hour drive and when I got to my destination the cheese cake was a mess (I didnt even take a picture but was very disappointed for paying I think $11 a slice it would at least be able to be given to someone with the thought they wont eat them right away.)**We did eat our food in the parking lot so the soggy cold food shouldnt have happened we didnt even go anywhere...Lastly, I ordered my food gave my name and then went back and ordered my cheesecake my name on my first order was correct second order was Debbie... then went to pick up my order and was told it was the two bags just sitting on the counter I could help my self. Then a manager came up and told me excuse me dont grab those... she said she needed to check them so I had to explain both orders were mine even though the cashier didnt get my name correct.Will not be back here for anything not even the cheesecake. My last visit here gave me reason to think that this place is overrated. Its rather crowded and loud during dinners. The beef we ordered was ok but not the salad. The salad lacks estetic beauty and tastes very generic, contrary to what the menu states. But the service was good and fast. The cheesecake tasted awesome - its an experience to eat it! Fun fact: a booked table is only kept for 5 minutes or it goes to someone else - fair enough!

Put our name in, was told 20 mins. After 30 was approached saying sorry it will be another 20. After an hour wait total (which is fine if that was what we were told) the Margarita had this much ice. This is empty with just ice. And, this is if it was poured without ice. Cant wait to see the price. For fun, I ordered a third without ice to begin with, that is the final picture. Order your drinks without ice. Messed up two entrees and didnt remove a $5 salad from the bill when they said they would. Lots of issues with operations, however, the service was a 5, she is very hard working, but everything averages back to only 2 stars.

Where do I start?This is the best food I’ve had in a long time.The outdoor dining area was beautiful, and very comfortable. Once that DELICIOUS tropical smoothie came out, I felt like I was on vacation. There was also music playing outside but not too loud where you cannot hear yourself think.I personally hated smoothies until I tried their tropical smoothie. Next time I will try the peach.The low calorie appetizers were so filling, I didn’t need an entree.The lettuce wrapped tacos were amazing especially with the sweet sauce.Literally everything here is amazing.My son loves pizza but usually rates most pizzas between 6-8 out of 10. He rated The flatbread pizza here a TEN.My friend loved the burger and wings.This is definitely out new favorite place!!And service was AMAZING.

Great food and cheesecakes. I got the orange chicken and it was a 9 out of 10. My wife got the miso salmon and it was a 9 out of 10 as well. The kids got pizzas and they were ok. They have a huge menu so you can find something you’re in the mood for. It’s a little pricey but the food is always good.

I ordered scrambled eggs and potatoes and the potatoes were charred, they were covered in grease. When I bit into some of these potatoes I dont even believe there was potato in it, it tasted horrible! Definitely not worth what I was being charged. We opened with the artichoke crab dip appetizer, and it was amazing. The Steak Medallions with shiitake mushrooms and asparagus was delicious, as was the Madiera chicken. The shrimp scampi was buttery-garlic perfection. My son was happy with his mini-corndogs. We decided to get dessert to go, amd the cheesecake made it home safely. The mango key lime cheesecake was just the right balance of sweet and tangy. The salted caramel cheesecake was rich and decadent.

We were shopping in Carlsbad so my aunt and uncle decided to eat here. This is one of their favorite places to eat in. Theyve got great food. A few days late with this one. First off, shout out to Christian, an absolutely amazing server. His services was considerate, attentive, humorous, and very respectful. I have a food allergy and while there was not an allergy menu available, Christian was more than willing to go out of his way to check with the chefs and make sure the food Id order wouldnt put me in any harms way. He was on it that Friday night, thanks again Christian! As for the place itself, I give it a four. The food wasnt as hot as I wish it had been and I blame it mainly on the rush for why things may have taken a bit longer than usual to get to our table. The place was clean and orderly and staff were quick to clear and clean tables efficiently to move waiting customers to open seating. Aside from that, an overall enjoyable place to visit and grab a nice meal and some delicious cheesecake.

HUGE MISTAKE, the server was inattentive, and not very friendly. These kids were probably not trained correctly or had their job duties fully explained or maybe the managers/owners of this location are the same way, I don’t know. Deserves 0 stars. Visited on 8/18/19 and ordered mainly brunch items. We were seated rather quickly, but the good ended there. If you like to wait, over an hour, to get your food overcooked and cold, then this is the place for you. Had one of the meals comp, but it wasnt really worth it since that guest didnt get to eat. It has been the worst service in a restaurant in this chain! We sat waiting for the first service (drinks) for almost 10 minutes and no one came to our table; waiters and waiter assistants manned the adjoining tables and no one approached us. I would have normally given a 5 but today things just werent right. The dish I ordered didnt taste the same as it normally did. I have ordered that dish many, many times and I know what it should taste like. Today, the cook must have had their own ideas of how to make it. The other issue was we had to ask for the bread a number of times before they brought any. Seems like they always run out of bread at this location. Also they didnt seem to have any Parmesan cheese for the pasta dish that I ordered. They said they were slicing some up for me but it never came. For some reason they didnt have the little cheese graters that they normally have when serving pasta. They did try to redo the pasta dish that I ordered, and it came back slightly better, but it still wasnt what I had come to expect all the years that I have ordered it in the past. As for everything else, it was great. The server was nice, location great, restaurant was clean. So I still give it 4 stars.

Poor service, short staffing, poor communication skills, poor management, 2 hour wait time just to be seated, 1.5 hr to have your food served. Total of 3.5 hrs average. Had lunch and ordered the Almond Crusted Salmon salad. It was huge….. I have to say the WORST salad I’ve ever had. There was no almond crust, no quinoa, no kale, no brussel sprout, scant avocado and half of a CHERRY tomato. There was basically a salad mix and a few radishes. The dressing was tossed in and so little for such a huge bed of greens there was NO taste. I did ask for more dressing… the little that was supplied in addition was enough to make 1/4 of the salad edible. Probably should have said something then, but didn’t. Online ordering has some issues. My family and i ordered food for pick up. I received a notification that my order would be ready in 45 minutes. Since I live 20 minutes away i like to plan on picking up my food when it is hot so i do not have to reheat it. I got a text message 15 minutes later saying my food was ready for pickup. Needless to say when I picked up my expensive food order, it was already cold. My wife and daughter both ordered different kinds of pasta. Both dishes hardly had any sauce on it at all. Id recommended eating in the restaurant, if you order for takeout plan on waiting for it in the parking lot, and if you get pasta ask for extra sauce.

They didnt have most menu items available due to a lack of employees. I ordered a gin and tonic from the bar and it wasnt carbonated and didnt have a lime. When I asked for lime the bartender said that I hadnt ordered lime. I ordered Carne asada for dinner and got chunks of steak with lots of rice and canned corn. I dont blame the help. They were trying their best with limited resources but it was evident that they hadnt been trained and didnt know how to prepare the menu items. My friend ordered a bit and got it on a French roll. It was my first time at the Cheesecake Factory. It was my daughters birthday. The setting is absolutely gorgeous there. Really nice. This location is awful. My family and I went on Sunday right after brunch. The food was extremely disappointing as was the service. We were waited on by three different people, all of whom stated that they were not our waiter. The food was a mess that came out after over an hour of waiting. We ordered the spinach dip as an appetizer, and it came out more of a spinach milk soup. Then we waited over an hour for our check. We would have asked our server, if we knew who they were. So for my Frist time to Cheesecake Factory I used the Yelp Reservation for myself cousin, nephew, and friend. Our wait when we arrived for the reservation time we only had to wait for another ten minutes. The service was great, the food was great except for the Herb Salmon, and the asparagus. The salmon had zero taste and seemed a bit under cooked. The asparagus was under cooked as well. Be aware that the price is a bit expensive on any of the alcoholic beverages. Those are the reasons I give this restaurant 4 stars.I would recommend this place to all local, and to our men and women who are at Camp Pendleton. Terrible experience never returning. Our party of four adults and two children were seated at a table that had not been set up. WE had to request silverware. Bread brought to the table but no plates. WE had to ask for bread plates. We did request two separate checks (they answered like it was no problem) but only one check came with all meal charges. My friend ordered the cheese steak and while she did like it, she said next time she would ask for less peppers and for the bread to be only lightly toasted. Our orders were placed for drinks, the server comes back to let a guess in my party know that they were unable to make her drink. Something else was ordered. As a regular at this location, my recent visits have been disappointing to say the least! I love Cheesecake Factory. But this location is the worst year after year. I am in the area once a year and this is the only Cheesecake Factory around. The last two times (July 2020 and March 2019) I ordered Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp. Both times it came to the table cold. Both times I sent it back. This last time (July 2020) I sent it back twice and they still could not get it even warm or even correct. I hardly ever have to send something back. I ended up ordering a salad instead. And others also ordered the Bang Bang and their food was cold as well. This was during Covid and only half the restaurant was open, and that half had hardly anyone in it. My family and I called for a large order, we were told that a few of the items had to be made from scratch so they wouldnt be done for lunch time, we still placed the order for dinner pickup. 4 and a half hours after I made the order. I was told to pick it up at 630pm and when I got there they said the person who took my order did not place it and it was not made, and our order could not be filled. After waiting hours on it.. they then tried to give us a complimentary meal 25$ card which they handed us with a receipt that said it had 0$ on it. Extremely unprofessional.
