Found this GEM for a date night before a concert at Thunder Valley Casino. WOW. PHENOMENAL. INCREDIBLE. DELICIOUS. We showed up just in time and were able to get seated immediately, but very shortly after we were seated, a wait list was formed of 30-45 minutes. Its absolutely worth the wait! We had the pesto fries and Brussel sprouts for apps, both incredibly delicious. I had the filet, and my wife had a pumpkin risotto with prawns. Again, wow! Both PHENOMENAL! Local beers on tap were a nice cap, and being able to taste a little tester of one we were unsure on was a nice plus. Our waiter was attentive even in an incredibly busy environment pre concert. Two other people also checked in on us at various times. Our food came out correctly and in a timely manner. This place is approximately 2 hours from my home, and I will definitely be back. I cant not recommend enough. Food, service, and atmosphere all get 10 stars.

My husband and I decided to check this place out on our way home and Im so glad we did. The food and service were both fantastic. They also have a great selection of beers on tap and some delicious seasonal cocktails. My favorites were the Reuben egg rolls and the French dip sandwich. The bacon brownie was very bacon-y (which we enjoyed) and the bread pudding was wetter than expected but had great flavor. The menu changes frequently and we cant wait for our next visit!

Ive been here a couple times and I can say they are pretty consistent whether sitting at the bar or a table. Food is fresh with flavor and the beer recommendations were great. I had the stuffed avocado and salmon appetizers which were both good especially the avocado. The Salmon was served with a hair on the plate clearly not my own but it was removed and replaced with no issue which was good. I also had the grilled Piedmontese filet with potatos and asparagus which was absolutely delicious! My filet was cooked just as I ordered it and the sides with sauces garnishes were paired so well. The restaurant was very busy but organized and handled very well. Wait times were reasonable and service was good. I recommend eating here if you want a good experience with great food and huge beer/drink selection. Restaurant including restroom was clean and operational and staff is engaging.

Update 07/20/23 - went back and again had an outstanding time. Great service, creative and tasty food, good music. Besides grabbing the Reuben-style egg rolls again, this time we snagged their sugar rimmed cocktail White Peach Bliss. Perfect balance of flavors — easy to order a few of these. Also tried their Peach & Plum Corn Shortbread with ice cream for dessert. So good...highly recommend.Previous review:Went in for lunch and had a great time. Good music, super friendly staff (even the staff that were not our server asked how we are doing and checked on food/beverages), and plate lickingly good food.I could eat a whole plate of those Reuben-styled eggrolls and the hamburger with a slice of brie and the bacon/fig/red onion jam is one of the best I have had at a restaurant in a long time. Pair that up with the Mumbo Jumbo IPA and it was a very good day. Absolutely going back.

Completely and utterly amazing! The staff addressed us as friends and had a great sense of humor. The person that appeared to be the owner/person in charge was very involved and was a waiter for the night and seemed professional and nice to his employees. My wife and I shared the peanut butter and jelly hamburger off of the secret menu and had a side of their famous pesto fries. My wife also got the Hawaiian Mule and was blown away by how vivid the flavor was! I know that we will both be craving it all the way from Grass Valley. This will definitely be our date night spot because of how welcomed we felt! They handled the people waiting in a very timely manner and there was an EXTREMELY long line.

It was our first time at The Chef’s Table… and what a little gem of a place. We had the Reuben rolls for an app, and it did not disappoint. Very good! For dinner we had the Shrimp Curry and Butternut Squash Risotto. The curry was a fantastic choice, I would highly recommend. The risotto was on the bland side, but overall it was good. The service was outstanding, very attentive and friendly. Kudos to the management for running a tight ship and cheers to the staff for an awesome job!

My son picked out this restaurant, and I think he did a great job. I wasnt expecting the atmosphere; its more of a bar feel with a few tables along the sides, but aside from that, the experience was amazing and well definitely be back to try more items on the menu. I ordered the short rib and my son ordered shrimp and grits and the pesto fries. Hes a little picky but he thoroughly enjoyed everything! We shared the brownie dessert, but next time, Im definitely getting my own because my child is very greedy. Staff was amazing and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend!!

This place is absolutely the best and worth any travel or wait! The entire team at Chef’s Table is amazing. Words can’t describe how delicious the food AND desserts are there! I would highly recommend everyone to go here for food, drinks, desserts or all of them. You will have a great experience watching chefs make the dishes, enjoying all the different dishes they offer and the best customer service. Everything here is great! This is our favorite place to eat and any time we get an opportunity to go here we make it happen.

Amazing food. Amazing beer and amazing service. We got lucky to get in at an off hour and avoid the long wait time. But it would totally be worth it. Our server Brahm was A1 and brought me some of the chef’s secret scorpion pepper hot sauce with my risotto. Don’t forget to try the pesto fries. An all time favorite!

This place was great! I went there for the first time and wasnt disappointed. The staff was friendly, the drinks were satisfying and the food was delicious. We had the Reuben Egg Rolls, the Corn off the Cobb, Oyster Shooters, and Pesto Fries for our apps. For dinner we had the Thai Shrimp Curry, Fried Chicken and steak. Nothing disappointed and we didnt leave anything left on our plates. So good!

This place is a whole vibe. First off, the food is INCREDIBLE! You just know it’s cooked with love. When you enter and take a seat, everybody comes by to say hi. One guy even gives his customers a hug when they leave and it’s super heartwarming. There’s old school music going- Al Green, Bill Weathers, ect. The strange thing is, They are able to pull off this amazing enterprise with an all male staff! There are zero women working in this place!There’s art on the walls.If you’re returning, everyone recognizes you and treats you like your family when you walk in.I highly recommend the shrimp and grits and the risotto. My husband and I have been to Chefs table several times. Its also been a restaurant we like to bring out of town guests. We always enjoy the food. His favorite is the fried chicken and I like the Thai shrimp. We recently ordered the pesto fries and they were amazing. We really havent had anything we havent liked.

We werent confident about the food when we entered the room. It looks like a dive bar, but serves delicious high end food! Were very pleased we stumbled on this gem! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks yummy! Well be back for sure! P.s all my drinks look the same, but theyre totally different. I just love lemon lol. I dont know what to do about the wait, but it was 1½ hours, but I really wanted to show the place off to my guests, I love the vibe of The Chefs Table. Id recommend planning on something to do to kill time, we ended up walking to a bar at the opposite end of the small plaza and waited for the text that our table was ready. Ive never been there where I havent had at least a 45 minute wait and the host/part-owner always offers us a drink while we wait. There is a line in the fantastic movie Ratatouille, where the food critic wants a surprise dish that offers perspective I think hed like this place. CheersPS: I drove in from almost Elk Grove for the experience, totally worth it. Please open up a The Chefs Table in Downtown Sac.

Worth the wait. Came here at about 630 on a Friday night. Waited 25 minutes for a seat. Tried the jalapeño blackberry margarita, blood orange mule and a beer. The cocktails were delicious and filled with flavor. Ordered the burger that has grilled peach on it..At first I was skeptical but wow this burger was amazing. The food is delicious and this place offers a wonderful drink menu including local rotating beers on tap. We will definitely return.

Inside of restaurant has an elegant appeal and was bustling with people. There is a bar in the middle. An eating area more bar/pub style on the right and a more formal diner area on the left. The bathrooms are clean and overall service was nice. The food however was not as flavorful as hoped. Bland lobster mac, overly greasy Shrimp and Grits, and a mediocre dish with pork and apple confit. The pork itself was wonderfully tender and of all dishes had the best flavor. Only issue was the pork was almost undercooked in texture. We also had ordered a burger for a child in which was great size and well made.

This is more of a bar than a restaurant with a good selection of alcohol drinks. The food was decent. The cheese plate was not bad. The sea bass was pretty good. The lemonade was from the fountain and not fresh, so it was returned and not taken out of the bill. The prices were a bit higher than a bargain. No ladies working here, so its a bit rough here and there.

Seriously, if you like amazing local food, run by local people, with an amazing staff… there is no place else.With customer service being, let’s just say not what it used to be, The Chefs Table completely proves it still exists. Every staff member of their team is courteous, attentive, fun and funny, engaging and just downright awesome!The food, well, continues to just be top notch with different flavors and menu items. Tonight, our party enjoyed their insanely delicious pastrami egg rolls (these alone are worth a visit), pasta fries, and beet salad to start. While I didn’t personally eat any of the beet salad, the lack of anything left on the plate says it all. Their pesto fries at this point should receive too culinary honors… and yes, I know I’m talking about French fries!For entrees, we had the braised short rib and mushroom stroganoff, salmon, carnitas tacos and the green chili tacos. I ate the stroganoff, which is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The beef… it’s an experience and the delicious mushrooms, perfect amount of sauce and noodles to crave!It’s usually busy here, so come hungry and prepared to wait for a table… but let that be the proof, everything is worth it here! First time here tonight. Wait time was about an hour fifteen for 2 of us on a Friday at 5pm. Drinks were really good. Food was not as good as I hoped. Pictured is my $40, 6oz filet that was supposed to be medium. Showed up medium well. This is with only 1 bite taken out of it. With an hour wait to be seated and roughly 45 mins for food I was starving and didnt want to send it back. Oyster shooter was excellent. My wife had the fried chicken that was excellent. The mashed potatoes were excellent as well. It was good enough for me to give it another chance. But definitely wont be ordering the filet again. Total bill for 2 of us was $167. Thats for 3 drinks, 2 entrees, an oyster shooter plus tip. Oh and we were running late for our babysitter so we couldnt order dessert so they actually gave us a to go blueberry cheesecake that was amazing. Probably the best part of the entire meal. All of my reviews I try to be extremely fair and unbiased. Just honest and real. Hope this comes across as constructive criticism to the restaurant and hope it helps future/potential customers choose their entrees better.

We went on a Thursday at 4:30 PM and there was only a couple of tables left. Not our first visit but our first review. It felt a little like the sitcom Cheers...Comfortable/friendly. A few TVs with different games on, enjoyable music, a nice healthy hum of laughter and stories being shared. Pesto fries and pastrami egg rolls to start, both were delish. Hubby had the steak, which I thought was a bit small but by the time you eat everything on your plate plus the appetizers, its filling enough. I judge a restaurant by its French dip. This one is top tier. Service, as always, is excellent because even though you have a server, they all work in unison. If someone walks by the table and you need something and its not your server, its not a problem to ask and is likely going to be offered before you need to. Overall, this little neighborhood restaurant bar is always a good place to go go for food, fun bevs...etc.

The food was lack luster to say the least, the only reason it is two stars was because the service was great. Everything was burnt or under-seasoned, the flavors werent there with these dishes we ordered. The fries were dry and drenched in oil, the risotto was under seasoned and bland, the peanut butter burger had way too much peanut butter on it, I could barely taste anything else on the burger. The French dip was overly soggy and the sandwich had way too much worcester sauce making it almost inedible. It was a miss for me, sorry. Wont be going here again and this wasnt even including the prices which are way over what they should be. Lower the prices and hire chefs that can cook food correctly.

However we stayed at the bar, and we usually always have a good experience and pay close to $300+ This time we had a African American Bartender Not being racist and he had a really bad attitude! My last drink it was a Wishile Pig Old Fashion. They brag about making it better than any other place. USUALLY is really good; well this guy did not stired it to and left the small ice in the same cup so it was already watery when I received it. Also he only used one cherry instead of 2 and never rub it around the glass. He also did not use any lemon pills to rub on the rim of the glas before serving it.I have asked if I can have a big ice, and he literally gave me an attitude and asked me if I want him to remake it for me. I told him that he only needed to put it in a different glass with a big ice.My problem is that; My wife and I spend at least $300 every time we go to this place, and Tip minimum 20%!I expect my drinks to be done properly when I order them!Very Dissappinted with the bartender, and the place!

A friend whos a local took me here and I thought it was great👍The staff was very eager to help and had unique items on the menu that from what I understand is always rotating depending on season or things that are available. We wound up taking half of each others plate to get some variation and both dishes were great, especially the prime rib French dip. Their dessert the bacon brownie with ice cream was tasty as well. Reasonably priced considering nowadays and also that its a local restaurant they probably got higher overhead so pretty much in the competitive range(pretty much gone are the days of $35 for 2 people after tip).Great food and friendly atmosphere.

This place is amazing! My wife and I have been here several times and have never been disappointed with the service or the quality and taste of the food. A Peanut Butter and Jelly Burger? Are you kidding me? Love it. Been coming here for a few years now. I almost always get the PB&J Burger and my wife always gets the Fried Chicken. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is great. They make it such a fun environment. But to get in on a weekend night, be sure to reserve a table a few weeks in advance. Its worth it! And dont forget to order the Pesto Fries.

First time here by recommendation. Service was great. We got there right when they opened and they started to get busy. Even though it was one waiter working both sides, he made sure to still check on our table and throw in some jokes and humor. Small but I like it. Food was delicious. I had hungry eyes cause I wanted more than one thing from their menu. I got the braised short ribs, which was savory and flavorful. The meat was tender and came apart perfectly. Normally dont get dessert but was recommended the bread pudding from a guest sitting next to our table. Our waiter also recommended it. It was sooo good. Sweet but not too sweet. My fiancé and I had a blast here last night. Everything was over the top. The quality of service, food, and drinks were outstanding. The California corn was a great starter along with the Reuben egg rolls. The egg rolls were fried to perfection and weren’t overly greasy like how most places tend to fry food. Oyster shooters bomb…the pesto fries were perfectly crisp without a single soggy fry. I had the 12oz prime rib and it came out tender and perfectly medium rare. One of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had. My fiancé got the shrimp curry and let me tell you that might have been the best tasting dish we tried until the bacon brownie sundae came out. Thank you for a great time and we will definitely be back!Tip: we got there around 4:45 for dinner and avoided a wait but it started to get really around 5:30. Not that the wait time will matter if you want to eat here😁

Probably one of the best restaurants Ive ever been to! Unassuming on the outside but wow, there is magic happening on the inside. The food is pretty much to die for, from appetizers to dessert. I wish I lived closer because I would be in as often as I could just make sure I tried everything on the menu! You must start with the pesto fries. Each of the entrees we had were so good that it was hard to pick a favorite (fried chicken, filet mignon and the halibut. )The bacon fat brownie is beyond amazing but so was the Krispy Kreme bread budding. The extra bonus is that everyone treats you like a close friend - it was like being in our very own Cheers episode.

Good service with clean facilities. The food was good though some of the items lacked the complete flavor profile I expected. For instance the fried pork cutlet sandwich was well put together but the neither the pork nor the breading seemed to be seasoned. The pesto fries were ok, but the pesto tasted processed and not fresh. On the other hand the shrimp and grits were pretty good. The grits could have been cooked longer making them creamier and soft but overall the dish had good flavor.

Delicious food. This place is always packed! It is one of my go-to places to eat. It is a hole in the wall very unassuming from the outside. Staff is great, but the food takes a while sometimes to get served. The food is always hot and fresh. Order the peanut butter jelly burger. It is delicious!

This is such a great place and I recommend the Chefs Table to everyone!Not the place to go to if youre in hurry (before a movie) but thats what makes this place special. Upon entering we were told to sit anywhere. I mentioned that we had never been to the restaurant and was told to sit whereever you are comfortable. This would probably be okay, but my party just came from the bright sun into a dark tavern like establishment.We were greated by the waiter who welcomed us with, Hey, whats going on? Honesty we didnt know how to respond..ahh, we are here to eat?Two things I noticed straight away after ordering:The bar tender was handling money and bottles and then without washing his hands, strained what looked to be an egg white into a cocktail glass from his bare hands and made a drink for a customer. Second, there was an employee eating pizza in the back where they were preparing food and standing there smacking and talking while eating and food flying out of his mouth while all the employees laughed and said, Dont eat too much pizza man.Our food took over a half hour to get to us and saying we were disappointed is a gross understatement.We ordered the french dip which boasted about its premium cuts of meat. The portion of meat was laughable for the price of $23.00 and the fact that it came with nothing but the sandwhich, no fries, sides etc. The meat itself was thin like tissue paper and tasted like it had been soaking in dish water. Honestly, without the grilled onions and sauces, it was not edible.My daughter took two bites and said she didnt like it and then went for just the meat, hence the discovery of that flavor. We informed our waiter who rudely said loudly while walking away from our table, Well, now you know! I was astonished at the spectacle he made and then he ignored us for about 10 minutes. Then as he was walking by us again delivering a glass of wine to another table he yelled back at us and asked if we wanted a box. Shaking my head no, I was stunned at how this was handled, especially being in the hospitality industry myself. He then walked back through and asked again if we wanted a box. I again said no and he said, well maybe you want to eat it. I wanted to mention that I didnt care for mine either, but took the meat off and ate it with everything else on it because I was hungry.Not one time did he ask if she would like to have something else but instead wanted to know why she didnt like it. Before she could even tell him he started making assumptions and telling her why he thought she didnt like it. He said, Was it the meat...the meat, was it that? I bet it was the cheese, the cheese is strong, ok, yeah. Then walked away. To add more insult to injury, he charged me for it. This is the first time ever I have had to pay for something awful that wasnt eaten. We will never be going back.

Chefs Table is decent to good if you compare it to general bar food. Given the size of the bar and large selection of craft style draft beers and the tables pushed against the perimeter, in what seems like an afterthought, the television screens and children running about, leaves little other comparison. The atmosphere, although not uncomfortable, is so diametrically opposed to the quality, preparation and presentation of the menu, that the resulting dichotomy creates a confusing experience. While most of the menu I sampled was good to very good in regard to taste, presentation and portion size, I found the scallops extremely over-priced at $25 for the three half-dollar sized ones we received. Overall, I would not have been disappointed with the meal or the service or even the prices or portions had I experienced the dinner in a more complementary environment. This is located in a shopping center with somewhat adequate parking but absolutely not enough accommodations within the bar/restaurant. Our party of 6 arrived for an early dinner at 430 and still waited approximately 25 minutes for a table. The waiting was unfortunately standing outside in front of the bar on the sidewalk. There is no waiting area, no seats or tables, no lounge area. We were able to order drinks and did receive them in a somewhat reasonable time frame. I find it hard to give even four stars, given these conditions at this price point. There are far too many places, where one mightnt encounter as many obstacles for fare that is incapable of allowing you to forget the immense effort expended to sample it.

We had scallops that were tender and creamy, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. I had the Spring Risotto and my friend had the short ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans. However, it was obvious our waiter was covering the whole room on our side of the restaurant and did an amazing job considering he was doing the work of two people. Menu is always changing and always amazing. You may need reservations for dinner but they have extra seating for walk ins but that side doesnt get the full menu. Not super cheap but also not crazy expensive. Expect to pay $25 per person and definitely get the pesto fries. Theyre incredible.

Really good service and we were there at a busy time too ! The jalapeno margarita was well prepared though needed a bit more spice. The scotch was generously poured. The pork rib dip and the chicken tacos were awesome but the pork wings could be better.

I hate to rate this place because its a great little hidden place that is hard to get into because they are usually packed.The chefs are very creative so the food is fun and delicious. Vibrant atmosphere and they have really friendly staff.Usually one of the owners wait on you.It is more for adults than kids so keep that in mind.Make reservations, but even the bar menu is great.

You feel more like a friend there than just a patron. The ambience is cozy and chill. I love that they support our men and women serving in the armed forces and law enforcement. And now the food..... WOW! I love steak, but I can never find a place that knows how to cook a steak right. I like mine more on the medium well side, but it always gets charred or too dry. The Chef’s Table cooked the best darn steak I’ve ever had in my life! It was cooked perfectly, tender, so juicy, and extremely flavorful! No steak sauce needed! Each bite was heavenly and truly a foodgasm! I had to close my eyes and savor the moment! The garlic mashed potatoes were incredible! We also had the pesto french fries as an appetizer, and Holy Moly! Hello foodgasm again! Every single dish and even drinks were to die for! We are most definitely returning! Make reservations several weeks in advance as it gets really busy and you will not get a table if you dont during dinner. The pesto fries are amazing and we loved all of our dishes. Service was pleasant. They have allowed for social distancing at tables but it can still feel/get tight inside especially if around bar space. Suggest they offer outside seating. Enjoyed short rib pasta dish but shrimp and grits dish improperly prepared. Grits grainy and runny not enough sausages but several lrg shrimp. Another minor irritant; asked for dish to go that was brought out to eat there. Just hate too much handling of food. Restaurant is not inexpensive so i expected better regarding issues.

Ive never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Creative seasonal menu, mostly locally-sourced and run by a group of charming young men. The restaurant does generally require a reservation (well worth the effort/wait) but you can always pop into the bar where it is first come first serve with yummy small plates and an extensive beer, wine and craft cocktail menu. If you get the opportunity to eat here jump on it!! Its only downfall is that its in a strip mall in suburbia....but once youre inside you will totally forget where you are in time and space.

I highly recommend reservations here. So far, this is my favorite restaurant in the Roseville-Rockville area for date night. The food reminds me of great restaurants in the bay area. It’s fresh and well prepared, and the wine list is super. I wish we had more like it as well. Do not hesitate to try this place. You might be the last person in the area to know about it. Try the fried chicken and don’t forget to order one of the special cocktails or a great glass of wine.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Rocklin/Roseville area. Its a little more expensive than most places, but thats because the food is so great! Everything is prepared fresh and is wildly delicious. Ive never had a meal that was mediocre there. And you can tell the chefs love making the food they prepare. Ive been there at least 5 times and only had an issue with the food once; my steak was a little extra chewy. It just happens when you have locally sourced meat. My waiter was very understanding, apologized and took the meal off the ticket. He then offered to replace it.The staff is great. Ive never had a bad waiter or slow service despite the place always being busy. They are quick to get you refreshments and make drink suggestions that go well with the food options. By the way the food options rotate so you constantly are surprised by what is on the menu--in a good way!Overall a very pleasant atmosphere and a restaurant I will be coming back to again and again. Even for just drinks and appetizers!My only qualm is how hard it is to get a table on most weekend nights. Its gotten better since the expansion, but I believe they could easily use more space and still be packed! Or maybe another location in Lincoln?

Go with the fried chicken! They use a three day process which results in a flavorful juicy tender chicken with a crisp outer coating. Truly delectable! It is my 18 year old sons favorite. The fried chicken with the bacon gravy is his go to birthday dinner ever since he tried it. The pesto fries are fantastic. Hands down the winner of the night was the seared sea bass over grits. It was the single best seas bass I may have ever eaten. Do yourself a favor and go here. Not really a place for young kids, though.

This place blew me away. We had reservations for 4, came early, and they squeezed us in a little before the reservation time.We ordered the cheese plate which was fantastic, and were chatting it up with our friends. The best part is that they were not in any big hurry to take our dinner order. The waiter stopped by several times and just with a simple nod he knew we were not ready to order.We then ordered, and the food all arrived ( delivered all at once like it should be) and it was all FANTASTIC. This was possibly the best meal we have ever had. We had 2 orders of the seabass, one filet, and one short rib stroganoff. We all came away 100% impressed with the food and the service, and we will most certainly be back again. My wife and I have a deal with our friends where we pay for dinner, then they do, and back and forth. They will have a hard time beating this experience when its their turn !!Thank you Chefs table for a great night !

Having been a regular since the beginning with an African American husband and feeling the love always I have to counter that review! We have been long time patrons and friends with the owners and all of the staff thru the years and have never felt anything but welcoming and inclusion! Went for birthday dinner. We ordered cheese plate that never arrived even after asking twice. Then we started to time it, as chefs table definitely has gone down hill. Our drinks sat empty for 12 minutes. No one checked on us or asked us if we want another drink. Then my well done burger was pink as it comes. As I pointed it out, waiter did apologize and said they never make mistakes. But literally behind us the table had two orders screwed up. On top of that the chef, a different waiter argued slightly to our left that it was this person fault not the other guy. They cared more about who fault it was the. Making it right. And I believe it was one of the owners and he never came over apologized, nothing. And If you can believe it they charged me for burger. Not only didn’t offer any kind of “let’s make it right”. And I Literally referred my hairdresser today, will never be back. The worst service ever. That’s my dinner in a to go box. Awesome job making it right.

Busy on a Thursday night.The French Onion Burger was delicious. It may have been a half pound, overwhelming the bun and lettuce and hard to bite since it was so huge. Well seasoned with good bacon and onions. Enough food by itself and came with no sides. $18The Pan Seared Halibut was tasty and came with good fried rice. The sauce and pasta were ok. $27The Essentials Together Menu had a variety of plates served with a typical Caesar salad and chocolate cupcake with pink icing from Icing on the Cupcake for $25. We got the Chicken Marsala and Chili Verde Pork Tacos. Chicken Marsala was ok, mashed potatoes the most flavorful but buttery to the point of greasy. Green beans blanched and overshadowed. Mushrooms were a bit chewy (cremini?).Good but not great. The tacos were unremarkable, the salsa unnoticeable, but the slaw was very good.
