The China Garden in Woodland Hills

Great spot with a huge dining area. My friend told me it was one of the best Chinese spots in the area so I checked it out with him.I ordered the orange chicken with brown rice and egg drop soup. The orange chicken was great, not too bready and the flavor was delicious. The brown rice was on point and the soup was a great starter.I’d definitely come back and their lunch special is great for the price and portion you get!***Update***I highly recommend their lunch special with the salt and pepper pork chop. It was delicious and with brown rice, it was perfect!

So glad I found this place! Im from east coast and this reminds of the classic Chinese American places there PLUS they have some pretty good dim sum. What could you ask? I have only done take out but the dining room is a little dated but open, spacious and clean. I wouldnt mind eating there at all if I had the time. Definitely check this place out

The foods are full of flavor and so delicious. The staff customers service very excellent restaurant is so clean and the restaurant environment was so good I like to go this place again.

China Garden is our favorite Chinese restaurant and luckily it’s in our “hood”. It’s now also our favorite spot for Dim Sum. The prices are reasonable and we always bring home leftovers, so the portions are large. Go there and enjoy!

Big and clean but the food was horrible1. Fried chicken wing- a ton of batter but barely any meat. I suspect they shredded the meat and used it on other dishes and tossed a ton of batter to cover it up2. Salt and pepper pork- tasted and smelled like meat going bad. Incredibly small and dry as well.3. Stir fry beef noodles- beef so dry and small like jerky. Noodles had no flavor and dry was well4. White fillet fish - looked like they took frozen fillet and put fried onions on top. Incredibly unappetizing.

What a delightful and delicious Chinese restaurant! Everything from the food to the waiters and workers was outstanding! There were 6 of us in our party, and we had reservations which I do recommend. We were seated at a round family-style table with a giant lazy susan in the center. We all loved that lazy susan! The lazy susan is the ideal way to share the family-style dishes by slowly turning the center. We ordered so many main courses, I couldnt name them all, but we also ordered vegetable fried rice, vegetable lo mein noodles, Kimchi, egg rolls, and a few different soups. I, myself, had the egg flower soup, and while there usually isnt much to egg flower soup, this one was the best I ever had! The greeter was very welcoming, and the waiter was absolutely amazing! Bring your family or friends and give this place a try!

Super cute little local Chinese restaurant! We took my son for his birthday - he wanted Chinese food (specifically scallion pancakes and cucumber salad)! It was wonderful! The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and we were all very pleased! We would highly recommend them! Their dumplings were also exceptional!

I’ve eaten here a few times, and the dishes I get are always great. The atmosphere is chill and the staff is friendly. I recommend the honey walnut shrimp, chicken or pork fried rice and all the dim sum foods.

Pretty awesome Kung Pao. I requested white meat chicken because I dont mind paying a little more to meet my texture needs. The flavor was perfectly savory, but I would have liked a little more sauce. The onions were cooked perfectly but the red chilis were still a little crunchy. With the give and take Im saying 4 stars because 3 would be criminally unfair but I did have feedback so they didnt quite reach 5.
