If you want to enjoy a nice and tasty brunch after a heavy morning walk or jog, this is the place to be. Keep in mind that this place is usually very crowded so expect 30-40 min wait around 10-12 in the morning. Tech servers are nice but may not be knowledgeable on their options, so please confirm. To give a context, one server said they offer freshly squeezed orange juice but next time another server said they dont offer such and other server might have just said it for time being. Even with this, food is very tasty and plentiful. Price is a bit high but the quantity justifies it.Food quality : 4/5Service: 3.5/5Atmosphere: 4.5/5Value for money: 4/5Free parking for 2 hours on the streets and should not be an issue on weekends.

Stumbled upon this cafe with my wife, and we were so happy we did. The barista recommended the chicken pot pie. Wow! It was so good we went back and got another one. We will definitely be back to try other items and for another pie.

We love the baked goods! Get there early for the best selection. The pretzel chocolate croissants and cinnamon pull aparts are fantastic! We had breakfast. My husband had the breakfast sandwich and I had sausage and eggs and a London Fog. Even with the hot,humid day. The outside seating, the greenery makes me understand why during busy times ( this wasn’t) they limit your time to 1 hour. This was our second visit are first eat in experience and we will be back!

Great breakfast spot. Quick service. Friendly staff. Great food. The crepes are delicious. So are the chiliquiles. The burritos are pretty filling too. Coffee and tea is good. The bread is delicious.

Where do I begin? First and foremost, the BEST hidden breakfast spot in Orange County! I tried Crema Cafe for the very first time today and I was blown away and instantly fell in Love! The food was fresh, the portions were huge and the taste and quality was to die for. The service was A+. Blake and Ashlan were top notch servers throughout my dining experience. They both had smiles on their faces the entire time and were quick and very Professional with their services as they both attended to me this morning. I highly recommend this hidden Gem. Hopefully youll have Ashlan or Blake as your server.

Best breakfast spot in Seal Beach. You can either dine in or take out. They have a bakery attached if you want to order fresh made bread, fresh pastries, coffee or if you want to order something to go. The avocado toast is really good, as is the oatmeal and brioche French toast. The kids and I usually come here for breakfast or lunch.

Wow what a wonderful brunch we had. We did make reservations the night before since we read the reviews ans the policy if you dont show up within 5 minutes after your reservation time then they give the table away, it was also Saturday so we knew it would be. The staff were all very friendly helping eachother out, cleaning tables, waiting tables. Our server was very friendly and kind. The drinks came out fast and then the food came out fast. Omg the breakfast potatoes were so delicious. The carnitas eggs Benedict so good, the omelet with the artesian bread on the side. Must must must do again!

I really want to give this place a four and a half Stars.I loved their clam chowder!To slight negatives...1) following my meal, I purchased seven pastries including a coconut scone and a pumpkin spice scone. There might have been a mistake because both of the scones tasted the same. Also the pastries did not seem to be fresh. They dried out really really fast.2) this comment is very minor...I really love Tabasco sauce with my clam chowder. They had tapatio sauce and Cholula sauce.I want to close out by saying that the service was outstanding!

Nice weekend brunch spot in seal beach. Gets busy so make a reservation. Typical brunch food with some healthy options. I personally had the caprese sandwich after I saw one come out that looked amazing. Before I ordered that I was going to get the Benedict. Seems to have a great menu of choices so check it out. Nice walk a couple blocks away from the beach and pier if you choose after. Enjoy!

Crema ioffers breakfast indulging your pallets sophisticated side. My wife rates it her favorite omelette on Main St. ( sorry Old Town ). The potatoes were an amazing wedge cut seasoned with basil or rosemary or something like that. I found the Crepe delightful for the sweet tooth I was battling and the homemade whip cream truly was the topping on the Crepe.

Would give this place zero stars if I could. The food was deccent but way too overpriced. However the biggest issue was the service. After we finally got our table, we waited 15-20 minutes for our server to even stop by. No water. No nothing.When ordering she didnt have any insight or knowledge on the menu. Didnt know prices on extras. Absolutely dreadful service.Dropped our bill off with our food. Our server very clearly didnt want to be there.Avoid this restaurant. Not worth the $$.

Good breakfast. They bake their own bread and pastries. Ask for a side of garlic butter sauce. It goes great on everything from their breakfast sandwiches to their potatoes. The Seal Beach omelette is nice. I also like the roasted vegetable omelette, add caramelized onion. You can sub any pastry for bread with your breakfast.

ABsolutely FABulous experience this morning. Showed up early and selected an open table on the patio. Had breakfast with a friend and my little doggie. Service was super: prompt, kind, friendly, and efficient. Food was delicious. This place is very dog friendly, staff and fellow customers welcoming my furry little friend. Delightful, relaxed breakfast. We look forward to future visits soon.

We had breakfast on 7/15/2023. The outdoor area was spacious with lots of tables but didn’t seem crowded. I wish I’d taken a photo of my ham and cheese omelet which I substituted fresh fruit for potatoes and accompanied by sourdough toast. I was fantastic! The eggs had a delightful amount of cheese. The toast which they make in-house was stellar. Hubby had a French eggs Benedict over a French croissant. Yumm!

Woke early and had to find a place that was open at 7am. Another beautiful breakfast in Seal Beach.Started with a cafe mocha & a cappuccino for the hubby. Breakfast was the breakfast crepe for me. Scrambled eggs, cheese and chorizo inside a delicious crepe topped with sour cream and fresh slices of avocado. I had the potatoes as my side but there are other options.Hubby got chorizo Benedict with potatoes. He was not disappointed.Prices are a bit high but the quality of the food is delicious.Work off your breakfast with a stroll down Main Street and to the end of the Seal Beach pier.

Came here for breakfast today and everything tasted amazing. Ordered the Seal Beach scramble with a side of wheat and fruit and my meal was delicious! Worst service ever! The young guy that was working the register and opened the shop was the rudest and unfriendly individual. Not the way I wanted to start my morning. In short not friendly and dismissive. I asked if any the freshed baked breads where ready at 7:10am and he said he doesnt know but he can see as soon as hes done working the register (1 couple after me) I waited approx 10 mins I followed up and he said he hadnt checked. He rudely said that I would have to give him a min! Um I waited 10! By this time the line was getting longer and I was clearly not going to be helped. This is the last time I will be coming here!.

Crema Cafe brings back so many nostalgic and wonderful memories. Ive only eaten here twice (pre-COVID), but both times were unforgettable. The first time I ate here was on the first date with my now, husband back on July 13, 2014. Time sure does fly by so quickly. We went back a little over a year later on September 26, 2015. We were living in DTLA, so it was a bit of a drive for us. We said that wed make it a tradition and come back every year. Well, we skipped a few years, but weve been living in the OC area for the past four years, so its much closer now. I rediscovered this gem when I was searching for a good breakfast place in our area. When we went, it was called The Crema Cafe & Artisan Bakery and now its just Crema Cafe. We will most definitely be coming here more often though. Today is January 4, 2021, and we have a baby girl due next month. We look forward to taking her here and telling her stories of how Daddy and Mommy met. Also, we got seated at the same exact table both times. Coincidence?The breakfast burrito never disappoints. I ordered it both times I was there. In addition, the potatoes are out of this world! Im a potato aficionado and could eat the sweet potato crinkle fries and breakfast potatoes all day long.

I’ve been frequenting Crema for 6 years and have easily eaten here at least 80 times. Came in today expecting to have my favorite breakfast dish of all time, the corned beef egg plate, but nope! THEY TOOK IT OFF THE MENU!! I’ve ordered multiple things but always came back to the corned beef. Tried the ham and cheese crepe instead, and it just did not suffice. Sadly will not be back.

Good food that was completely overshadowed by extremely poor service. Our server didnt write things down and had such a sour attitude. She came off as though she thought her job was beneath her or something. There was no personality or joy at all. No surprise that half of the orders came out wrong and/or late. Two people got their food five minutes before the rest of us. Splitting the bill also wasnt possible.We were also told that the menu doesnt match the website menu so sorry, one order wasnt possible. Just kind of oh well, too bad. The one couple who had been the before and recommend it, apologized after for their recommendation. None of us plan to go back which is a shame. It seemed like it could have been fun and very good.

Superb service, lively, dog-friendly outdoor patio. Food is good quality and nicely prepared. Nice getaway from inland.You’ll be surprised to see how fast your food comes out.... it’s like they have wizards back there in the kitchen but the reality is the kitchen is huge and they have a large kitchen staff back there. Speed is not at the cost of quality as their food is always consistent and consistently delicious. Which is why my wife and I make this our monthly weekend brunch spot. It’s just set in a nice, sleepy community with a great vibe, more so than its surrounding beach cities.

This place is always packed for breakfast with a line out the door. But our party of two got in in only ten minutes!Good food and cheery atmosphere. Its primarily a bakery but they have a full menu of food items.Hubby liked his Seal Beach omelette, and I would probably get the SB scramble next time. I liked my fried egg breakfast sandwich but felt it needed more bacon and more of the yummy garlic cream sauce.You can sub a pastry for your bread in certain dishes, and they do have delicious pastries. Gram cracker crust encases a lite vanilla banana cream thats just the right amount of sweet and sliced bananas, topped with a lite cream and choc shavings. Its a hint of ban/ vanilla cream thats not over sweet with just the right hint of banana. Super elegant and perfect for a romantic dinner.

Their almond croissants are exquisite; I have had almond croissants from other bakeries but they always missed the mark taste-wise. I put it in the microwave (25 sec @ 90% power). The croissants had exquisite flavor even 2 days after purchase. I should have bought more because I will have to wait till Christmas before I get back to Seal Beach. Their pecan squares are really good also. I have 4 more goodies I bought for my travel but I will eat one goodie a day until all the goodies are gone. Great, great bakery ! Happy Thanksgiving! I was surprised that anything was open today, but Im glad it was Crema Cafe. I saw the always pleasant owner walking down the street and just knew I could get my favorite chai latte this morning! Kat took my order, with a smile like usual. The most amazing find! Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and pastries! We were in Seal Beach for vacation and happened upon this restaurant at lunch time. WOW! The cafe was recommended to us while we were on vacation at Seal Beach. It was about a 10minute walk from our rental so I decided to walk down one morning for coffee and breakfast. It was DELISH! In face the next three mornings we walked back with different family in tow. While there we ate both sweet and savory crepes, the homemade granola, omelettes, and the AMAZING avocado toast! We were happy they had gluten free bread for one of us and always provided wonderful service. If you go early (before 7:30) you can usually avoid the air and line but if you get there after the rush it is totally worth the wait!

It looks nice and has a nice outside spot for one to relax in and enjoy their meals. The cashiers were very sweet and attentive to everyone’s orders. I can see it’s very busy there but the biggest reason why I didn’t give five stars is due to the fact two waitresses were making fun of my name as they were coming out through the side entrance with mine and my child’s order. As one walked away, the other kept going a bit and didn’t realize I was standing right in front of them as they were doing this. When she realized she was caught in the act. Stopped by for breakfast this morning. Have been here a couple times and love the bakery. Sad to say the service outside for the restaurant has a lot of room for improvement. We had been there before, but as we had the dog w/ us it was the only place we could go as they have a nice patio to sit on in addition to inside seating. My wife went already twice while visiting relatives in California. So today she took me and her siblings. Food was great and the kitchen service was fast. Everybody was friendly except our server. She wasnt really following up or asked if wed liked another cappuccino or something. After taking the order she only had one thing to do herself - 1 glass of water - and she forgot about it. We went in around 1 p.m on Saturday and while they were busy, we were seated very quickly. The outside seating was perfect and the atmosphere was comfortable and friendly. They had a great menu with several choices, Im sure almost anyone could find something to eat there. All four of my party were very happy with their food, it was delicious and exactly as ordered. I met my girlfriend at this cozy cafe last month. It was self- seating and I found a spot by the window, it felt very bistro/French restaurant like, which I enjoyed. Customer service was great, they were very attentive and fast. My food arrived hot and it was super delicious breakfast with roasted potatoes, eggs, bacon, and gluten free blueberry muffin. They offered so many options that all sounded delicious, I definitely need to go back and try something else. They are also a bakery so you can simply walk in and grab one of their baked goodies. I had the breakfast crepe and my wife had the chilaquiles. Masks were enforced upon entry and tables were at least 6 apart. My wife was given scrambled instead of the over easy eggs she ordered which they did eventually correct. Food was fine but not really worth the price. The bakery items are really good here. I have had some amazing croissants and other delicacies but I was not quite impressed with the restaurant portion. I had the crepes here and I felt like it was not as sophisticated as their bakery was. The crepes came with whipped cream but the cream was so rough and had the consistency of butter. Also the lemon curd I had in mine tasted cheap. Also I hope they update the jams they have because smuckers was not doing for me. All in all, I did enjoy this place because of the outstanding bakery but I really do hope they change up their restaurant formula.

I absolutely love this place, it has a semi European style ordering system with the welcoming warm feel of an American small town. The food is top notch and they used their own baked good in the creation of their delightful dishes. The recommendations on the menu are great and I have yet to be disappointed with anything I purchase from there. You dont have to be a crema to eat a breakfast at La Crema in Seal Beach. I had the classic eggs benedict with home fries and my son had the kids grilled cheese plate with garlic french fries. I had to ask a few questions before I realized the only difference between the childrens grilled cheese and the grilled cheese from the regular menu was the size of the plate and not the portion. In any case, we ended having a comforting breakfast for a little over twenty bucks. Not too expensive for a place with the popular shabby sheik farm house decor. Crema is one of those little brunch hole in the wall places that youre not totally sure about until you see the line running down the block. I was a little disappointed in my weekend visiton Sunday to Crema Cafe in Seal Beach. Normally during weekdays you walk in right away at the counter get your coffee (which is good) and your breakfast is served at your table. In weekends I discovered they have a hostess and serve at the table.When I walked in no one was at the hostess counter to seat me so I walked in. One cashier told me I had to wait for the hostess but when I looked out and pointed that no one was there the other cashier said I could take a seat since they werent crowded. After a minute a hostess came over and asked me for my order but since a hostess hadnt seated me I was never given a menu. I knew what I wanted however and ordered the scrambled eggs and a coffee.I asked for a paper cup and the hostess obliged bringing me a coffee in a paper cup. When I took off the lid there was something floating like a piece of paper or plastic that might have come off or a blade of grass. I took the coffee to the cashier and got a new cup but no one was free to pay attention to me so I could let them know.I think Crema should have two review categories, one for weekends when they Run hostess and table service and another for weekdays when they run counter service. Just seems like a different place with slightly lower service than on a weekday. Ill continue to visit on weekdays but be aware its just different on weekends.New opening December 2017:Still same food. But the counter staff had trouble with taking the order so they are still learning. The new layout opens up the whole interior. Tables ar set aside for Service but with the open plan sone people from coffee bar would sit at the tables. Kind of frustrating for people waiting on a table I could see. Excellent café to grab some coffee when I usually only have 15 minutes left towards the end of lunch break coming here. The coffee is served quick and with a unique taste. The environment is set as if you were in the European side of the world with a very calm social tone.

I love this cafe always delicious. I try to order different items off the menu and so far everything I’ve ordered has been very good. They allow dogs outside in the patio.

I went there today for breakfast with my mom and they gave bad service... They were giving service to people that got there after I did with my mom and they didnt want to take our orders or greet us today. One of the women that work there looked at us from toe to head and she even made faces when we sat down..... its a great restaurant if you are a light skin person my mom and I are Hispanic, we are dark brown skin and they discriminated us becuase of our skin color... The color of my money is the same as any other person that was sitting there as well

Best breakfast in Seal Beach. Served al fresco on Main Street. Avacado toast with poached eggs is what theyre known for. And for good reason - Its pure California comfort food. Grab a bag of their granola and some fresh yogurt at the Farmers Market for some true indulgence. The omelet I had was okay, nothing special, and slightly undercooked. The blueberry pancake was dry and tough, amplified by the fact that they only present that goopy, motor oil-like conglomeration passed off as syrup. If you dont serve real maple syrup, you are no better than IHOP or Dennys. The server was nice, thus the one star. Otherwise, zero stars.

Get there earlier than mid-day if you want their awesome pastries because they almost always sell out. Breakfast served all day is one of the reasons I go here.
