2023-07-19 15:16:10This place is great! The food is spectacular. I got the pretzel burger... phenomenal! Ive only ever been around lunch time on weekdays, so its normally pretty quiet. The waiters and waitresses are always attentive and helpful.

2023-02-14 14:41:44I visited this restaurant for lunch yesterday and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service. In my opinion, the town of Norco could use more restaurants like this one. The food was exceptional, and I particularly enjoyed the Cali sandwich - it was perfect in every way. Moreover, the staff were all very friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience enjoyable. Their warm and welcoming demeanor added to the overall ambience of the restaurant. I cannot wait to visit this place again soon, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

2023-01-05 20:23:41Decided to try a new place and so glad we did. The service we recieved by Paul was great! This guy is a hard worker and most importantly can multi-task wonderfully. It was a busy afternoon and he still gave us great service.I tried a shrimp dish which was a little disappointing. I would not order again. The steamed rice was not hot. However, my husbands patty melt was amazing!!The atmosphere seems fun! I will try to return with another couple so we can try betting on the races.Oh...bring the family. My teens love to thrift shop and there is one in the same parking lot. Super convenient.

2022-06-03 23:24:26The Derby Room has a large menu, and the food is great. Ive enjoyed the ribeye dip and a few other items, and I loved the spaghetti, but the meatballs are full of big chunks of onions, which I did not enjoy. But the service is great, and the staff work very hard. The portions are nice and large, and the options for potatoes are great! Accessible parking and ramps are available.

2021-04-07 03:45:36Went with my husband and 4 month old for a late lunch. Its very loud but knew that before we got there. We ordered the recycled potato and the naquito frings. The recycled potato was good but its something you need to share. The naquito frings were good i loved the rolled tacos in it. I had a drink which was strong and I felt the price was spot on for the drink. Also had the brownie sundae it was yummy the brownie was warm and the ice cream was good.

2023-09-15 20:20:54So Derby room is kind of a foodie cheat code. Since a big chunk of their income is from the off site gambling, they dont need to survive solely off their food. So they give you great food in gigantic portions!! If you are into Americana classic cuisine this is a great place to go for a fair price. Be warned however, either split meals, or plan on taking some home because you wont be able to finish everything

2019-08-20 16:53:15If you like that local bar/eatery feel this is the place. The Derby Room is located behind the Goodwill retail store and if youre not looking youd miss it.We came there for a late lunch/early dinner and the wait was 1 hour! The menu is diverse as its patrons. From American (read burgers) to Asian fare (they even server pho!!)My daughter got the fettuccine Alfredo, wide got the Italian torpedo and I ordered the 16 oz probe rib.My daughter is a fettuccine already expert and she said it was ok. The sauce was creamy but lacked a bit of seasoning but I suppose you can adjust to your liking.Wifes torpedo was on point serving size I feel was perfect and it was picked full of deli meats. My prime rib was good, I ordered medium rare but due to its popularity I ended getting it on a bit more of a medium. I did have to add salt to the aus jus. The meat or rather the cut was great. Just had to add a dash of salt. (note: I compare my prime rib to Houstons so if youve had their PR youll know what Im talking about). The pricing is perfect IMO my PR was only $16 so you cannot complain. Ive had PR at wood ranch and BJs and this place is a lot better.Next time Im going to try the 1/2# burgers that they have listed it just looked amazing.Oh did you know you can watch and make bets for the house racing thats on the TV? Well you can and it gets really rowdy when people are rooting for their horse. All in all its a fun place staff is really pleasant and service was prompt.Definitely come give this place a visit.

2023-08-03 21:17:07Ordered take out. This place isnt bargain, drive thru cr@p, but worth the extra scratch. Ordered Pho and club sandwich with the house potato chips. Both were great and enough leftover for another lunch. We have also dined in and had to wait 20 minutes to get a table, totally worth the wait!

2023-06-01 21:08:19We have been to The Derby Room multiple times, and each time has been excellent. The atmosphere is fun, the menu is extensive, and the food is outstanding. Our last server, Lesly B., was incredibly kind to us. We went in to eat after our house had flooded, and she was very sympathetic and cheerful. She was truly outstanding.
