A perfect place to have lunch! This small mom and pops shop is the hidden gem of Chino! We are regular and they seem to surprise us everytime with their sandwiches, and dont get me started on the delicious soups/pastries. I have travel all over the world, ate at expensive places... Lets just say... Flinderstreet is on another level, good price, generous portion and wonderful customer service! Small shop yet so warm and welcome!The husband and wife often come out to chat with the customers, get to know them and shows their appreciation for supporting their wonderful business. We cant praise this place enough! We will cont to come back here!

Love this place! There’s outdoor seating so I can bring my dog. We got the Italian grinder, veggie panini, Italian mozzarella panini, steak and cheese meat pie. Meat pie was my fav for sure but the sandwiches are solid. The owner is super sweet and friendly and gave us cookies at the end of our meal. We’ll be back for sure.

The food was delicious and I loved the ambiance. The cookies are definitely a must try. I had the Vegetarian delight pannie, a side salad with ranch, and it was delicious. We also ordered chicken Alfredo and chicken soup which was delicious as well. The owners said everything was made from scratch and you could tell. This little place is definitely a must try if you are in the area.

Great sandwich place to go to in the area! I didnt even know this part of the plaza existed. Each time I came I only knew about Target, but didnt know there was this cafe as well as a gym right next to it. I decided to write a review after a few times, and I can say my experience was great. I ordered to go each time, and you can call ahead to place your order. The place is not that big, but there are a few seats insideFoodSo from my experience you order what you want, and usually you get a side with your order, at least with the sandwiches. They have pasta too, but I have yet to try itWhat we did order wasClassic Ham and CheesePhilly CheeseVeggie’s DelightItalian MozzarellaToscana soupI guess it just depends on what you feel like having, but I would say the sandwiches are all pretty good. I particularity like the toscana soup even if they have chicken noodle as well. You can choose to have sides like salad, chips, or even other items upon request. Vegetarians wondering if the Veggie’s Delight was good, according to my wife, she thought it was great!Wanted to note that this place also has coffee as well, so if lunch and coffee is what you want, it can be that one stop shop. My husband and I went there to get work down and loved it! We loved the playlist, the honey vanilla latte, and staff/service was amazing. I would definitely go again if we are ever back in town.

So we have a regular coffee shop/eatery that we go to every Saturday without exception, unfortunately they are closed on Sundays lol so we woke up this particular morning and I didnt feel like making coffee. We started looking up coffee places and found this one.My sister ordered an iced macchiato I wanted to try a cafe latte and a cortado, why not its not that big right? Ok well see these coffees at least to me had more of a taste of nitro/cold brew to me. Im fine with that but my sister isnt too much of a fan and the cortado wasnt to strong for me.The grilled chicken was good and she got it with the soup which wasnt bad. Italian mozzarella panini was also good I got that with a spaghetti salad a little different but not too bad. I wanted to try a meat pie, well who knew it came as a meal lol. We got that with a macaroni salad, did not care for that at all. Meat pie with cheese was pretty good though.Overall we would come here again, definitely have friendly staff here.

My girlfriend randomly yelped this place and I feel like I discovered a go-to comfort food spot. The food is very fresh, snacks are very good, and atmosphere is super cozy. I had a curry chicken pot pie with Tuscan soup, my gorgeous girlfriend had a pastrami sandwich with potato soup. Both were so delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of their food and study/work.

This is my second time visiting to The Flinderstreet Cafe and I feel comfortable enough to leave a review. First, let me talk about the atmosphere because its a Cafe so the looks of it is very important, when you walk in the door the decor feels comfy and homey with pictures of their items and a easy menu to read for the rest of the items, also TONS of live plants to add some personality, BUT there is some imperfections. They have a corner with a couch that looks kind of beat up, not sure if anyone would care but I do, the windows are also filled with graffiti although its not their fault, but its still a turn off. Moving on to the actual food, I ordered the mocha latte and Cafe latte which were both good, it wasnt like star bucks where you cant tell your drinking coffe. Here you can actually taste your coffe and its GOOD. I ordered some food as well, the breakfast panini, chicken pesto panini, and the Italian panini which were all good but not GREAT. They all have the same feeling where I thought something was missing to really make it perfect. Overall The Flinderstreet Cafe is a cute mom and pop vibes shop that I will continue to visit, its not perfect but definitely worth trying for your self.

Really liked this little Cafe. Its one of those hidden gems stuck in a plaza where most stores are closed. I had an open house nearby so I Googled for a place to eat. This place came up and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Philly cheese sandwich and the clam chowder soup. The bread was crunchy and the cheese melted to perfection. The soup was filled with ingredients and not water down.

I have eaten here approx. 4 different occasions and I order the same thing each time the No. #2 Italian Grinder. Each time the bread has gotten smaller and smaller every visit. Today was last straw, deli meat is rolled up and 60% of the meat is sticking out of the sandwich. Can u call it a sandwich if the meat isnt inside the bread roll? Cause thats what I got. I even took pics. The sandwich is small for the $11.99 they charge you. If I had to guess its about 8 inches. I like to support private business but not at ridiculous prices and tiny meals given. I will say this it does taste good.

This place is cute inside, kind of hidden but accessible. Went during lunch, so 12pm. Not very busy and they have an interesting selection of lunch sized meals.I tried the turkey pesto panini with a salad and a iced hazelnut Cafe latte. At first glance I was a bit disappointed, it almost didnt look like itd be that great, especially with what I paid for it. About $10. Salad looked a bit sad and the Ceasar dressing was light, a bit watery. The panini was actually tasty and the coffee as well.Total was $15. While I think its over priced Im giving it 5 stars because of the nice service and satisfaction it gave me. I would not come here often for the food, but I would for the coffee.

Heard about this place on Facebook thought wed check it out for lunch. I tried the cheese and steak sandwich with a side of potato soup. It was delicious, good size portion, served on a warm french bread. The soup was really tasty. Also the cucumber drink was so refreshing, definitely recommend it.

What a cute local Café! I have gotten their Honey Vanilla latte and it is scrumptious.☕ I also enjoy their macarons. They are a little hard when you first get them, but if you let them sit for a little bit they soften up. The pistachio Macaron is my fav.

Area is out of the way cute spot we had Philly Steaks we were craving thin meat with cheese yeah it was okay a bit over priced 30 bucks for 2 large drinks, 2 sanwhiches a mini salad and chips. Doubt I would come back again because its more atmosphere. I would do my homework here for sure. They did come by and spruced us up with mini cookies, Im telling you, this place is cute.

This is our favorite place for lunch! My husband comes a lot during the week for a working lunch, and everything is fantastic! THE BEST brownie you will ever eat. Period. They have everything.. salads, paninis, cold sandwiches, soups, pasta dishes, meat pies, macaroons & sweets and great drinks! Teas, coffees and specialty limeades and seasonal drinks. Everything is fresh! 10 minute wait for to go orders. Great place!

This small cafe has great service and a relaxed atmosphere. It is not a fast food place. It is more of a place to have a good meal and sit and enjoy the company of a friend. We relaxed and sat and chatted while our meals were being prepared for take out. The server walked accross the restaurant to bring us our carefully packaged meals. We had chicken panini and spaghetti. Both were very good.

The food and honey coffee was just okay. The limemade was great. The portions are ridiculous small for the price. My kids got the chicken Alfredo and they said dominos Alfredo is better and cheaper. I got the chicken pesto and personally I enjoy starbuck a whole lot more. Will not be returning because Ive had better and cheaper.

I am a regular customer here mostly because of the convenient access from my work place but without a doubt I absolutely LOVE eating here. The staff is always friendly, the place is always clean. Jaime (I think was his name) makes the best Chicken Alfredo and even remembers that I like mine with extra sauce. Customer service and food quality is top notch! :)

Went with friends today. Everything on lock down here again. So only take out service. We sat in chairs for customers to sit while waiting. Had the Toscana Soup. Good however it could have had more than just 1 potato piece in it and the serving temp could have been about 10° warmer. Friends seemed to like what they had also. Excellent friendly service.

I didnt like it. The food didnt taste that great and it seems too expensive. Not coming back. The Chicken Fetuccine Alfredo was too greasy for my tastes. I felt it was all grease.Update 2022Flinderstreet Cafe, at 5483 Philadelphia St. Suite C in Chino, was inspected April 7 and received a grade of 75/C with three critical violations. Eggs and diced tomatoes were at unsafe temperatures. An employee didn’t wash hands. And there were two issues related to unclean food-contact surfaces: There was mold in the ice machine, and an employee was washing dishes incorrectly. Among the nine other violations, employees didn’t know the cooking temperature for chicken, several non-commercial-grade appliances were in use and the inspector saw “excessive food debris and trash under the prep table, equipment, and storage racks throughout the facility.” This was the restaurant’s second B or C grade since 2020.

The staff and owners are what really makes this place shine! Their loyalty card is the only one I never lose! The food is always great; never had something improperly prepared or not delicious. The bread for their grinders is wonderful. Just remember remember to ask about what they have that isnt posted on the menu; theres some great food that isnt posted and I forget to order it. Slightly more expensive than a run-of-the-mill sandwich shop, but SO ABSOLUTELY worth it!

The only thing better than their food is the people who work there. Theyre so amazingly kind and considerate, and Ive never regretted choosing to eat at Flinderstreet Cafe. Everything on the menu is delicious, the cookies especially! Before covid times, theyd give you freshly baked cookie samples while you waited for your food, and they always have the cutest little stickers on their boxes and drinks, and their new ones are absolutely my favorite. The worst part is when Im out of the city and cant go anymore!

For being my first time here, I have to say I was impressed ! I got the grilled chicken salad. I know what youre going to say, its just a chicken salad but, it was so good! The chicken is what stood out! My love got the pastrami sandwich, and we both got passion fruit and almond for drinks. Just what we needed for this excessive heat. Best of all, the service was great! The hot Caramel Macchiato tasted good but started warm and quickly reached a lukewarm temp. The macaroni salad seemed stale/old. Cold coffee drink wasnt great.Our table was sticky and dirty and the couch, where we sat, was sorely in need of new upholstery.Waitress/cashier (same person) wasnt very personable or attentive... it goes on but you should get the picture by now.

This is a very nice place. Its clean; has a contemporary, trendiness to it; and the food is very good. We had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich and the quality of the food was excellent! The bread is homemade, soft and delicious, almost a biscuity texture to it--a nice change from the normal, tough bread most subs are made with. The meat was very tender, not fatty in the least, and there was plenty of cheese. The sandwich was large enough for my husband and I to split... I would say 6-8 long, and it comes with a salad or chips. The salad wasnt the typical iceberg bagged salad that some restaurants use either. It had a nice variety of greens to it. And they brought us complimentary baby chocolate chip cookies. We had purchased a brownie for dessert, so the friends we were with had the cookies. The brownie was on the cakey side, so not really my taste, as I like them more of the fudge consistency like box mixes are. But it was large and had lots of chocolate. They have bottles of Mexican Coke - the way Coke was originally made with real sugar instead of corn syrup - so this real thing Coke lover was happy about that! The service was good, they have a decent variety of items from which to choose, even italian dinner-type meals if you dont want a sandwich. All in all, a great little surprise! Well be back, no doubt, and well be telling our church about it!

Found this place via 5 stars on Yelp & it did not disappoint us. The Grilled Chicken salad was a deal with mixed greens, tomatoes, Mozarella cheese, avocado and grilled chicken. The Italian Mozarella panini had delicious flavor with a slight toasty crunch. YUMMY! Every server was super nice & helpful. We will definitely be back!

I REALLY wanted to like this place. The sandwiches are GREAT but... thats it.The soup I got (clam chowder) was watery and literally had one potato and nothing else.But heres where I was really peeved: their macarons.You could tell they were frozen. How? You could ACTUALLY taste the freezer burn on the macarons. Mine were given to me cracked. They tasted absolutely disgusting. I couldnt eat them. I tasted each one but they tasted so badly of freezer burn that I couldnt distinguish between any of the four flavors.Waste of 8$.

Usually in love with the place, especially when the owners there or the older gentleman. Aug 31 the girl with the fake eyebrows gave me unsweetened tea after asking if I want it sweet or not. I said yes. When they brought the tea it was unsweetened. I waited in line to tell her and when I got there she said they were out of the sweetener. No refund, didnt ask if I wanted anything else. Should have told me when I asked for the green tea. Id would be nice if you guys wore hair nets also.

Flinderstreet Cafe is a gem in the middle of a bunch of rocks. The food here is quality. The turkey pesto panini is my go-to choice. They serve great coffee. Their dessert selection isnt huge but they have a number macaroons and brownies sure to calm your sweet tooth. This is one of my favorite local spots.

Small bistro style restaurant offering grinders, paninis and pasta. Choices were good and sandwiches are served with salad, soup or chips as a side.
