This is a great casino. The atmosphere is vibrant, they have card games for anyone at any ability. I have never really played before and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The other patrons were also very nice and helped my learning as well. I didnt win, but I didnt really lose either. The drinks are hella cheap and they pour well. Overall while Im in this area i will definitely visit here again. Cards are much more fun than losing at the slots. Have fun and gamble responsibly.

We go here every couple of months to try our luck. My boyfriend hit a royal flush last year, that was exciting. We went last week and I saw the dealer hit a royal flush and 2 hands later the guy next to me hit it. There are only card games, no slots or video games. If you play blackjack or three-card poker there are many tables so if its busy you may have to wait for a chair to open up. The lowest bet amount is 5 dollars. Like anywhere else its hit-and-miss with friendly dealers, hot cards, and walking out with more than you came with. I know at one point they served alcohol but I do not know for sure if they still do. Its a fun night with partners and friends but dont be expecting the dealers to entertain you. Great for locals who dont want to go out of their way to drive and play at the larger casinos. They also do not have any kind of entertainment other than the hope of the casino cashier.

The poker room is cool however the baccarat room seems shady. Way too many losers and sad faces. Its a bit degenerate there and they try to confuse the players.The boards are confusing on purpose. There are better places to play and there is 0 customer service.

This is a decent card casino. Food at their one restaurant is just meh. Not great but edible. Dont expect to get any food service or drink service at the tables. Waited an hour and got nothing. Otherwise just an ok place. The hustler casino is smaller but much better.

Friendly staff, and people who come here are welcoming as well in my experience. Definitely looks nice inside. Not as crowded as the Park west casino. Had good success here in baccarat. Probably the only place where it gets crowded from time to time. Overall great experience I had the last 3 times I came

I had a good expirence at the gardens casino. It was clean and every staff member I encountered was nice and helpful. I thought the parking lot was very easy to enter and exit. But whats most important is I won at the baccarat tables. I will be coming back.

This place is nice to play at and clean location with lots of parking. The chips are new and cool, the tournaments, Sit-N-Go, live poker are fun. There isnt many food options and its quite pricey, but still friendly staffs.

Nice and clean casino. They offer valet and self parking. Came here on a Friday night to play poker ($5/$5). They have a large poker room. They have other games too but didnt get a chance to see which ones. They have a restaurant as well. I ordered the Beef Chow Fun (half order) and it was terrible. The service was great though; chip runners, service people, and floor men were always around. The dealers were nice. The players were nice too. Mixed crowd, ethnicity wise but more Asians. I left around 2:00 AM and people were still coming in. This place is cleaner than other LA casinos Ive been to (Hollywood Park and Bicycle). Theres a lot of poker tables going if youre into poker. TVs everywhere with all sports on.

This casino has lots of parking and table games. No slot machine. The range for beginners and advanced players is vast. Open 24 hours with full security inside and out.Poker limit and no limit, PLO, mixed games, black jack, 3 card poker, ultimate poker baccarat, and more are some of the game.The Hawaiian Gardens Casino is comfortable and can use some upgrades to their system. The food is ok, and the bars serve all sorts of beer, wine, and spirits.The staff is friendly and kind. The local players know one another well.There are WPT qualifier games, cash, and Sit & Go tournaments available almost daily.Areas for improvement includea need for upgraded tables with a food service call button, a massage call button, a supervisor call button, and a chip runner call button service. Bring back or create incentive games (hourly high hand, random table cash, or splash pots). Also needed are scancards for cash, random drawings, and food discounts. There is a bad collision problem at Gardens casino. Teams of players will raise you out then chop the pot. Casino management knows about this and no desire to protect the integrity of the game. Play at your own risk!

Updated on April 2: The casino was opened over one month, they provide service outdoors with strict safety measures like everyone needs to wear a mask, keep social distance, they have too many spots for hands was in and hands sanitizing, no eating and drinking allowed in the poker area, if you want to drink and eat, you need to go to outdoors area to eat alone. When you are playing poker, each player will be isolated from others by a thick and tall glass wall. And the bad side is that its hard to talk to a person next to you with thick glass walls and masks, but the good side is we are pretty safe here. Currently, the casino is closed before 6 am per day. This month casino is gonna move tables indoors, they have been working on this for a while, it would be in the same safe and cautious way. Anyway we will have a lot of Covid vaccine this month, please get vaccinated as soon as possible in this pandemic, hopefully, everything can go back to normal as soon as possible, lets all contribute a little to end the pandemic, stay happy, stay strong!---------I went to this casino for around three years, most of the customers are regular customers, before the Covid pandemic, this place worked 24/7, but was closed three times in the pandemic, hopefully, they can recover sooner. The casino has good chairs, over 300 tables, the poker tables are around 160. The Poker tournament area is big and clean, there are big flat TVs anywhere, you can watch football, basketball, and boxing. The floor work very hard, you can order beer and cocktail before 2 PM, order food at any time, people in this place are friendly. This place is close to Long Beach, when you are tired you can go to the beach, and the outdoor air is clean and fresh, the parking lot is pretty big, but the busiest time is Friday night. Its a nice place to play poker cash games and tournaments, and you can also play with friends in the party pit. Have fun!

Its the only casino where Ive been struck by another pareon, complained about it, and be the one 86d .....Calling the police turned out to be futile as they werent shown the full video either. Nice card room and staff was friendly. It would be better if they could allow players to eat at the poker tables with food trays instead of having to standup at the mini tables near the poker tables. The dealers could do a better job of managing the games better by calling out the players bet amounts more effectively. Too many players asking how much? when the dealers could announce it for the table. Slows the game down too much. Great action though.

I had been there 1 time a month before this time and had no problem getting in. They have a few security guards at the entrance who ask for your DL or ID so I showed my DL to the security, he scanned it, and I walk right in. Not this time.I entered and already had my DL or and ready to be scanned. I gave it to the security guard and he scanned it. Youre not in the system he says. Ok, so what? Put me in the system. My DL doesnt have the magnetic strip on the back so hes unable to input me into the system. After about 45 mins of explaining to him I was just in here a month prior I decided to leave.Hats off to the security guard who probably saved me money.

Ive been to this casino twice and enjoyed both times. They are setup nicely during this pandemic with plexiglass separating the players/dealer at the tables and with sanitizing stations all around. All I play is Texas hold em but I know they have a ton of other card games on the other side of the casino. I typically just play NL $2/$3 or Limit $4/8. Both of these lower limit games have plenty of action. Especially NL! I had some success on my first visit but not so much on my second lol still enjoyed my time. Plenty of tables and I didnt wait long to sit. Will definitely go back when Im in town!

Same style as Bay101 or Matrix8. As usual, I find some quick fun with glass of modelo salted double lime or a corona beer and play some fun with a Blackjack table. Gained 50-100 and its lucky enough to sue the winning $ for some rounds of beer/shots.Remember these casinos are not much in a town so you have to pay 1$ each for each round of playing and lucky bets are something worth to try 😉. We never know, a good call of lucky bring you back more than what you can win during a few hours there 😀Good luck and always put a limit for any gamble, like a ticket value of 100-300$ for concert/show then you will feel better to leave once the concert is end 😉👍

The Chinese new dealers theyre hiring these days are just unprofessional and unqualified! Simply RUDE is an understatement!! They could careless about companys reputation and prospects. Theres a joke a saying, how do u destroy the businesses the Economy in the USA?? Answer: just ship them a shipload of Chinese people to work there who know nothing about customer service that sure will bring the businesses down.LoL 😆 🤣 I mean they know nothing about human rights, how do you expect them to know anything about treating a Customer right? Pros:Great casino for poker players. I came around 10am in the morning, and there was already many tables open. As the day went by, there were more and more tables opening up. At around 3-4pm there were 4-5 tables just for the 1-2 dollar no limit, and there was a bunch of other poker tables for other limits and and higher stakes.Cons:Some players that leave their seats for longer times, and they don’t get removed until 20-30 minutes has passed, so if some people leave the table when the table isn’t even full, you can end up in a situation where there are only a few players. You can always ask to get moved to another table though, so I didn’t see this as a huge problem.Another issue is that the rakes the casino take are very high. On the tables with 1-2 dollar blinds, they even take two dollars in rakes even though the hand is not played, which I almost think is a scam.I did end up playing for about 6 hours straight, and would like to go back, so will recommend it for people that are into poker. I do believe they have some big tournaments here too, as they probably had around 100 poker tables. I would love to go back to check out these tournaments.

Understaffed & Menu has shrunken down to only a few good items soup & pepper steak.On Friday & Saturday night if you order food it always comes out cold.No real promotions, offers or incentives to play here beside comfortable chairs and cleanliness. The game play isn’t bad but rake is high. They just started having girls go back to the tables to serve alcohol but don’t count on getting your drink fast on a busy night. They now charge $5 dollars to reprint your players card that doesn’t hold any offers or reason to have right now. Really missing the good old days when they gave cars away at the tent. Dealers dont control the action nor enforce the rules of the game. Calling and folding out of turn (literally all action has finished and person who has been skipped and not acted yet sits and thinks about raising and etc). Players putting chips in and calling but taking them back and folding as soon as they notice there was a raise. And similar situation where player calling a raise but notice how many players are in and decides to take back their chips and say chop. Never seen such fuuckery in my life.

I’m a huge fan of Gardens Casino!!! Awesome card room, always a lot great $1-2 tables running with a $40-80 min/max buy in. Always tons of games going, a lot of blackjack $10-100 tables too. Really convenient location of the card room as it’s right off the highway. Always relatively clean (it is a casino) and masks are required throughout the place.I spoke with one of the head hanchos on the floor and they said that poker tournaments should hopefully be starting in the near future based on staffing and regulations. We waited in line for about an hour just to get into the restaurant, they had a good prime rib the last time my father in law went there. He was taking me for my birthday. After waiting in line for an hour we sat down at the restaurant and no waitress showed up. We waited about 10 minutes before I asked the bus boy where the waitress was, he told me I had to wait in line lime a fast food place. So after waiting in line for another half hour or so we get up to the counter and they had an edited menu, they were only serving simple meals like burgers and fries and pasta. Best Poker game in LA & OC. Thats there motto and they arent lying.No matter how many times I go there, it always has options on multiple tables for good action. My favorite part is that at No Limit 1-2 you can buy in for $40 - $80. The employees were welcoming at the initial meeting but soon ignored the few non Asian patrons. This was on a early Sunday morning and the only time I have been there. This is a card club so no slot machine. The table is now partition with transparent plastic. The number of players remain the same. Security guard will check temperature of people entering and ask if they had a club card. I was asked to apply one which only need drivers licence and no question asked. The tents are overcrowded. But they do have hot air blowing, so its not as cold as other casinos. There are Asian games tables open, with an exception of Spanish 21 and tiles. Staff is cleaning the seats after patrons leave, but they seem understaffed, so sometimes it takes a minute or two. You can eat and drink in designated areas with 6 feet between each seat, no outside food or drinks thought, which is understandable. The Casino is beautiful now that it has been remodeled even down to the classy extras that were installed in the restroom...(urinal foot floor grated drains to catch all the missed shots, that were actually engineered really well). The toilets are high quality with extreme flushing power, and the point Im getting to is that the toilet seats have a (tab) on the side of the lift up seat so that if you lift it by hand, you never touch any part of the toilet. We went to this casino because the recent reviews made it seem like a good decision. But seriously... DONT DO IT!! This casino is the biggest ripoff in every aspect of the word. Every time you place a bet, you have to pay the house a dollar. You have no choice in the matter. And when you ask them what it’s for, they avoid the question until you demand an answer. On a $5 min black hack table, all other casinos will allow you to be whatever you want as long as it’s above the minimum bet. Not here! I place a dollar chip on top of my $5 bet and was told no. I can only bet in incriments of $5 and there was no “good luck” bets allowed with the dollar chips.The people that play here are absolutely horrendous. We saw more 20’s split tonight than we have in our entire life. People will hit on 18... yes you read that right... hit an 18 and take the dealers busy card and screw all of us. People walk up, play one hand, screw the cards for the table and then leave.They have the opportunity for you to pay out or win as the dealer. And it could potentially win you some decent cash. Except they will not explain to you how it works or what you actually need to do and they get snarky if you actually take it to play that way.We sat at a table for almost 2 hours and the waitress what nowhere to be found. We asked several times for a waitress and they would call one and then that’s where that would end. Nobody ever actually came to get a drink I order.It’s just BAD in every aspect of the word. Very much so, that at one time, I went to other casisinos for the period of 13 months and stayed away from this casinos and felt very happy.for example, early this morning it, after playing in.the casino for 6 hours.The dealer disrespected me badly and the floormam gave her a wrong advice, while I was banking. At the Paygaw.The supervisor snatches the glass of juice from my hand, scratching severely on my right hand, forcing me to have 6 stiches.at my right hand in the hospital and file a report and the complaint at the police precinct. This is painful to say after being a 20+ year customer even getting banned then not banned anymore Im not coming back anytime soon . all the new rules such as checking in with your ID no eating at the table and always having to wear the mask make it very uncomfortable to play at gardens any more . I had to run back and fourth to the resteruant then my poker table .

Gardens is the best!Cocktail waitresses are super gorgeous.Tourney area is fantastic. Cavin the tournament director is a great guy.Player field is soft. Fantastic poker games here. This place is pretty much the center of the live poker universe.They have California Baccarat with Dragon and Panda. Total degenerates in the pits. Lots of action. Fun times at the Gardens.

Their shoe auto machines are rigged! Look how high that machine is. That machine could slide a card up or down or take a card out anytime with a button or automatically on a command. Every time i bet big on something and my hand gets a 7 somehow magically the other hand picks up a new card and get a 8 or 9. This happen many many times. Once you stay longer they get your habits and kills you. There is something unusual when i look at the dealer dealing the cards. The floorman radios in a call when i get back to action, a casino guy keeps following me around all night. Dont go there, its thier house their machine. If they dont get caught its not cheating and its hard to prove. Thats their model. Look they dont burn a card like any other game. Their model is not to play fair but to take your money!

Its an OK casino. The food service is HORRIBLE!!! This isnt a rare occurrence either, unfortunately. It has taken over an hour on too many occasions to even get a service person to acknowledge you and then look at a menu, let alone just order something simple like a drink. Terrible service!

Great idea with Las Vegas style look from the outside, but the inside is still stuck with the same lame service as before. They really need to hire a true Las Vegas casino management to run this place to match the outside façade. Slow to no food and drink service at tables. Not just once or twice, but all the time. They really need to have a better system.In fact, this is what keeps me from coming more often.Oh and the pepper steak at the poker table should be the same quality as the pepper steak at the restaurant. I’d gladly pay more. The pepper steak at poker tables is left over rubber.Bathrooms are clean.Avoid restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights. Absolutely no service at tables. We have to go to bar to request assistance. Same lame procedure most of the time. My buddy likes to meet up there for dinner every now and then so we get to see it first hand.

Not to be a sore loser but its bs!! dealer always has a better hand, no way, what are the odds???? . its a scam ! So I go in for the 4th of July. I start noticing the dealers were leaving the tables empty, people would come in they had 19 the dealer have 20 they had 20 the dealer would have 21 . I lost about $300 playing 15 to $30 hands the odds are awful if I play consistent hand I lost 90% of the time ??? No way . I had a friend who lost $2,000 playing consistent hands what are the odds? Just to test this Theory I started playing 5 $10 hands, and even then the dealer would have a better hand and like I said clearing out the tables, this place is a scam maybe one or two people get lucky out of all these people losing their hard-earned money, Im never going to this place again. Shady fake and scam .

Just OK, a few drunk Donkeys to get money from and several cheats who will river the magic card and take your money as long as their dealer(family member) is dealing to them. As for the rewards system dont expect much reward as they dont tend to call people whos player cards have been scanned in the last few hours for the drawings, which would be a better and more fair way of giving rewards to loyal patrons. However the bartenders Robin and David especially make you feel welcome and at home with the utmost respect and always are there for you with excellent service.

Hi, you still have 8-10 busses a day filled with asian folks who predominantly go to the bacaratt table. I was gona say play, but if u consistently win 90% of the time u not really playing. Love that this casino is right off the freeway, Im still new to poker, but got my moneys worth last time I was here. The food is amazing, Ive been all over Hawaiian Gardens and surrounding area, and this place has the best food. They have an international menu, but their asian food is amazing, a lot better than Commerce or the Bike. I noticed that they are building a new casino which should be open sometime later I believe. Its a lot bigger than the current casino so definitely looking forward to it!

Saw someone complaining about the cocktail girls pushing beer carts. First of all not everyone wants a damn cocktail okay some guys want a damn beer every now and then. Imagine a cocktail girl walking around with a 12 pack just for those men that want a can of beer. I personally like the idea and it hasnt eliminated the role of the cocktail girl which in and of itself is a sexist concept. Basically the drinks are cheap the gambling is fun and one less retarded person at this place is a Godsend. Love this place and a beer cart isnt going to stop me !

Food service was slow, they got the order wrong and it wasnt that great. Casino is always busy so they probably are not too focused on food service.Lots of EZ Bacc and Pai Gow and depending on the limit, poker was immediate seating on many games or a short wait

Best casino for poker. They offer the most tables for every limit or type of game. Also the food is good and there is a large selection. After the renovation the casino is definitely a place to visit if you are into this type of scene.
