2023-08-09 18:45:57My friend and I were visiting the Irvine area for a couple of days, and this restaurant came up on my google search as a good brunch place. We walked there from our hotel about 20 minutes away, and it was definitely worth the walk! The restaurant was super clean, lighting was pretty, and the food was great. I got the vanilla bean french toast and my friend got one of the burgers. I usually get savory for my breakfast/brunch, but this was super good. Service was nice and friendly, and we were very happy we chose this spot on our vacation! To add, Kaytee was especially amazing to me after I dumbly left my sweatshirt in the seat next to me and didn’t realize until after I was already at the airport. She made sure it got back to me out of the kindness of her heart and I know this place hires great people! If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be coming back.

2023-01-23 00:47:36I was really looking forward to dining here. Love the look and feel of this restaurant. The menu and drink selection is really good. Great service from Jeff and I really appreciated his knowledge about the dishes. They make all they syrups for the cocktails in-house and the blueberry watermelon margarita was 👌🏼 the appetizers did not disappoint either! I ordered the halibut for dinner and while the flavors were great my dinner was lent served hot. Kind of a bummer.

2022-12-24 16:47:48My wife and I came here for a date night and we enjoyed this place. The ambiance is very nice, the patio has a nice street view and they do a decent job of keeping it warm. Our waitress was attentive and checked in with us multiple times during our meal. The drinks we got were good, nothing amazing but definitely decent drinks. Theyre a little spendy but youre paying for the nice atmosphere. We got the spinach and artichoke dip as our appetizer and it was delicious. Highly recommend it.For our entrees I got the prime rib and she got the rib eye. The horseradish dip that came with mine was too strong, needed to be cut with some cream or something because it was straight horseradish. My prime rib was actually very good, though I think it needs a bit more seasoning. Her rib eye was also very good, the butter they serve with it is a little much. The only real issue we had was with the side dishes. They give you a small ice cream scoop of potatoes, and theyre not very creamy. It reminded me of the old instant potatoes I used to make myself, and you get maybe 4 stalks of asparagus.Aside from that, our meal was enjoyable and the drinks were good. Well come back, though well probably try some different side dishes next time.

2023-12-09 18:23:31First time visit. The cocktails were marvelous and the food delicious. The prime rib is better nearby at Gullivers, but The Goldfinch is miles beyond in any other respect. Even though its located in a business district the design and decor makes it feel much more appealing than it has any right to be. I cant wait to return.

2023-04-26 20:31:49I really enjoyed the atmosphere, vibe, the food and drinks here. Celebrating my bday and my sister in law birthday, we definitely had a feast. What really drew my attention to go here was that they had beets salad with goat cheese. Beets salad is one of the things that I always have to get when I see it on the menu. What I ate:* Tomahawk Ribeye | medium rare| comes with 2 choice of sidesThis was perfectly seasoned. No sauce needed but I always need Tabasco with my steak and sides* Mashed Potatoes | this tasted so good. I always enjoyed a good mash with steak.* Roasted Root Vegetables | comes with brussel sprouts, carrots, and onionsAdded a 3rd sides because we couldnt decide which veggies we wanted. We definitely wanted both and no regrets, smart decision we did.* Grilled BroccoliniDrinks:* Passion Fruit Spritz | this is what I got and I love it. It is very refreshing. I definitely could have drank more than just one.* Thats My Jam | I just love the name of this drink. My sister in law got this one and she enjoyed it. She said it wasnt too sweet. I enjoyed it too.* Youre My Boy BlueThis drink is a bit strong but yummy.Im looking forward to going back for brunch, lunch and dinner.

2023-09-05 12:15:02My first time going to the restaurant. The restaurant is very inviting and the wait staff are pleasant. I enjoyed the atmosphere and eating on the patio. Our hostess was very accommodating. I had the halibut and my mother and sister had the braised short rib. Very good. They give you large portions. The grilled vegetables that come with the halibut is excellent. Ill be back.

2023-06-26 02:46:01It’s a nice restaurant with good service. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, it was very yummm but unfortunately it was a little cold when we got our food. The management came and offered us new plates but since we had to go we decided to keep our food, overall it was good and food was delicious.

2023-01-19 06:37:23A true high class experience from the the ambiance to the drinks and food. Fish, steak, and burgers are the focal point. I had the maple glazed porkchop as a main course and it was phenomenal. Highly suggest the clams for an appetizer - there was just something about the sauce that was paired with it.
