Obviously this is a unique establishment as it is take out only. I order on my pc from work as the app seems to be a bit finicky for some reason.Pick from the signature recipes (which you can alter) or build your own. Lots of selections and toppings.It is pretty fast most of the time but if you time it wrong you could be waiting awhile. Try and order 30 minutes before you plan to arrive.So this location in Santa Clara is in the middle of an industrial park. Parking is very limited. It is really busy at noon time here. And if you follow the one way Parking design rules you have to drive around the whole building.The people who work and serve you are fantastic. I find its the delivery drivers and other patrons that make the environment uncomfortable. Everyone is rude and inconsiderate. Blocking the service door, parking spots, driveway and talking loudly on their phone in a crowd.

Amazing customer service and amazing food. My husband and I ordered from here through Uber, and to our surprise when we received the order it was completely wrong. I did contact the owner about it and she did everything to fix the mistake. Not only was our first mistake salad good but our second attempt was just as amazing. Once my husband picked up the order they knew who we were and treated us very kindly. I definitely recommend this place.

I ordered a salad through GrubHub and while the portion was quite big I really didnt enjoy the food itself.I got the Samurai Steak. The dressing was delicious but once mixed, there was something kind of sour that I didnt like. As for the protein, it was cold and fibrous. I didnt like it one bit.

I use the Good Salad for lunches at work on a regular basis - everybody LOVES them!! Blazing Bird, Samurai Steak and Date Delight are the top three faves. Always fresh, super healthy, and generous portions. I really appreciate that they serve the sauce on the side. Super delicious!!!

Update:2nd time. I dont even usually like blue cheese, but the Steak Supreme salad was amazing, with and without it. So Flavorful. All of it. And even though I was very hungry, it was filling. I think this time I took my salad back from my boyfriend before he took too much... 😂 ... also, he saw the good reviews on the guacamole, and we confirmed it is equally amazing 😁😋. Thank you so much for such quality food at such a reasonable price!!--Delicious!! I keep looking for a good salad place nearby but there hasnt been much before, or they were not very good. This was Fresh and tasty, and a decent portion if you are not super hungry. Overall it was an excellent light dinner and we will be back again to try more options :D

Today was my first time at the Good Salad, And i liked the dressings and the variety of ingredients you can choose from. I had the Mediterranean Salad, i chose arugula in my salad along with the rest of the veggies. When i opened my box i had half yellowed Arugula which was going bad already. i had to take it all out because it definitely messes with my stomach. Besides that its a good way to get your greens. Hope this place gets all the help it needs to grow into something that will change peoples lives through healthy delicious food. Lets help, Give your feedback. I will go back in a few weeks and try again.

Dont know about atmosphere due to to-go/pick up orders only.The salads are always fresh, the lettuce crunchy and choice of ingredients to make it flavorful even without the dressing or glaze. Portion size is average, there is room for more given the price. But die to efficiency, freshness, and taste we order weekly for meals.

The Good Salad serves the best salads. My company provides lunches for its employees every week & everyone loves the menu. I had the Cali Cerzer the chicken has so much flavor but the dressing was the star of this salad nothing bottled here, you can taste the bite of anchovies, fresh basil the sharp parm, yum. I also love the Date delire.

Oh my what a salad! Good is a understatement. Its Togo and online only but its worth it. All the dressing are made in house, the guac is amazing and the pico is so unique but perfect. Make your lunch and dinner special with this spot.

I would love to give this place one star to gatekeep it because this place is THAT good. I love good salad and I crave it weekly. They are fast, their portions are HUGE, their ingredients are always fresh and taste great. My partner never eats salads but this place, he craves! Its such a hidden gemUpdate:I still stand by the quality of the food here, I love it. But since their business is taking off and its gotten more popular, theyre service has diminished. They need to find a new system that works better for people who come to the window. They seem to have a hard time keeping track of who has arrived for the order because they keep asking for your name several times like they dont remember youve been waiting outside for your order.They often take your name and if its not ready, they will tell you and close the window, sometimes they wont say anything and close it.. then when the next customer comes, the workers will do the same and completely forget about your order and the cycle will continue until all of the customers (5-8 ppl this time) names have been forgotten and the workers ask for everyone names AGAIN which tells me they either havent worked on it since the last time I told them or they completely forgot that I told them my name. And they do it to everyone who is there so its extremely chaotic because everyone has to ring the bell several times and state their order AGAIN, all while there are new people coming in and the crowd only gets bigger with no orders being served because they cant keep track of who is already there.. its really frustrating and the lot of us were getting pretty annoyed with having to say the name of our order more than 3 times.

Loved our lunch from the Good Salad! I got the blazing bird with the Pesto dressing and loved it! Hearty and healthy salads with the freshest ingredients, and very reasonably priced. Add-ons are super cheap too (My friend doubled his protein for just $2!!) The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, and their freshly made dressings are delicious. Dont forget the special glaze - it adds an amazing flavor. Will definitely go back!

I’m not even going to lie….I absolutely destroyed that salad. You would’ve thought I fasted for 62 hours straight the way I shoveled it into my mouth. My husband was telling me about how this place was really good and I was like SALAD??? GOOD??? 🤢?? I was not about to take his word but then he got it for me today and wow. WOOOOOWWWW I have to find it within me to admit he was right 😷😷😷. Mind you I’ve never been a salad lover like that. Mostly because the salads I made looked like Frankenstein concoctions and were FOUL. But this place is fantastic. The Good Salad actually makes me believe I can change my unhealthy habits and enjoy eating things that aren’t junk food??? Ew?? What’s happening to me???? LOL. As others have mentioned, this spot is awesome! Great salads, priced well and hidden in a business area. I started eating here since my work is close by and absolutely love it, I would recommend to everyone.This is a warehouse type of kitchen/establishment so dont expect the typical interior space to pickup your food. Instead you go to their warehouse door and ring the bell and someone comes to assist. Even at busy times they are attentive and friendly.Only changes I would make would be to offer Kale, onions, regular ceaser (no pesto) and a Blue Cheese dressing.

Checked in to pick up an order, and was quickly followed by five people who got their orders before me. I was told the way it was going to be five minutes, so I waited five minutes. During my way, I posted their logo to my Instagram story for a free drink, and when I asked for the free drink, they looked at me like they didn’t know what I was talking about. IMO Best salad money can buy in the Bay Area! Big salad, with the freshest ingredients, and amazing, propriety dressing selection. My favorite is the House Chipotle Ranch but Ive tried others and theyre all good. Its one of those places I think I could order from every meal of the day. Very configurable, with a wide selection from base, to toppings (both standard and exciting ones), to dressings where I can build a salad for whatever mood Im in. From clean & light to hearty & zesty - they got it all!Owner is a great guy too! Love supporting this small, local business over bigger guys, especially when its easier on my pocket book :)Taking all this into account, I dont even consider going anywhere else when Im in the area and want a salad.

I really enjoy the good salad, and their dressings are amazing. My only complaint would probably be the protein serving. They’ve recently cut down on their protein. servings. I weigh out everything for fitness purposes and for a single serving of Cajun chicken you’ll get about 30-37g, which is not a lot at all. For a $20+ salad I wish they’d be a little more generous with their protein servings.

We ordered 3 different salads from The Good Salad today and weren’t sure what to expect as we found them through a Google search for salad places near our hotel. Happy to say that every single salad was incredibly fresh, delicious, filling and so well packaged. The chicken was perfectly marinated and moist, and the dressings were flavorful and unique especially their pineapple cilantro dressing. We were truly surprised by the quantity too. Considering most salads were $10-$13 (way less than most other salad spots around here) the portions were really generous. We’ll definitely be back every time we’re in Santa Clara or San Jose.

My new favorite place! Not much to look at, but worth the slight oddness of pulling into an industrial/commercial park to get it. I got curbside pickup and simply checked in when I arrived and they brought it right out to my car. The salad was so good though! Definitely worth the price. This was my first time trying out a salad from The Good Salad and it was amazing! I ordered the Blazin Bird and everything tasted fresh and good. Typically with a lot of salads with chicken meat, the meat is bland but the chicken from here was well seasoned and fresh. I like that they also put the salad dressing on the side so when you pick it up, the salad isnt soggy. Great customer service and high quality salads for a reasonable price! This might be my new salad spot!

Staying the night in an airport hotel to catch an early morning flight out of San Jose. We had a big lunch in Moss Landing and didn’t want burgers or pizza. Searched salad on Google Maps and found The Good Salad. I had the Blazen Chicken and my wife did a build your own. They were both excellent. I was surprised when Google Maps directed me to their location. It’s not a sit down place but a kitchen that does strictly to go. If you want something different and you are staying at one of the Airport Hotels try them out. You can use Door Dash for delivery I believe.

I recently discovered this restaurant, and have already ordered take out several times because it is delicious! The service is very fast, and the salads are always ready by the time I arrive to pick them up. Every salad I have tried has a ton of ingredients in it- there’s more than just lettuce in every bite. The employees who work at The Good Salad are very polite, which makes the experience even better. Don’t let the small parking lot fool you- this place is a hidden gem!

I had a create your own with chicken for dinner right away I was disappointed by the dressing. Just by looking at it I could tell this was going to be horrible, I’ve never seen ranch dressing look black from overloaded seasoning. I don’t think they realize Cajun chicken doesn’t go on every salad. My dog even moved his food bowl when he noticed I gave him the you gonna finish that look. On the bright side it’s good for losing weight cause I definitely threw up after trying. Sticker wasn’t centered on box either

I understand that build your own salad option is there, but its event better to have readymade recipe. And it would be great if vegetarian salads are made wholesome (probably by adding chickpeas, beans, lentils, quinoa etc.)

So im trying to eat better but i have a love affair with steak so i google steak salad and they came up. i ordered online from a list of some of the most amazing salads i could even dream of and went to pick it up curbside(easiest thing ever) and one of the employees(maybe even the owner) was out there greeting people in their cars and then he came up to me and explained who they are and what they do which made me feel even more confident about my decision to eat their when i had never been. let me tell you the salads are no joke, the best, freshest most delicious salad i have ever eaten, im 66 375lbs and it filled me up and satisfied every craving i had. i cant wait to try every salad they have before using their create your own salad option. good job guys, you have restored my faith in kitchens that take pride in their product!!!!!

Absolutely ridiculous proportion of greens vs toppings ( non existent) If i wanted to eat just 1 pound of arugula for lunch, I would have just bought a $2 bag at whole foods instead. I guess that’s why sweetgreen is doing so well. Turns out, making a good salad is hard and apparently only one company knowns how to do so

My car battery drained on my while working so I walked to the auto part nearby to get it charged and decided to get me some late lunch and I walked to this place and I was very excited to try them out and be healthy but i only have cash on hand and nowhere nearby to put money on the card and they said they are online business only and couldnt take cash, Im talking about a $14 salad and $2 can of soda I mean with tax and everything we are talking about $20ish and they couldnt figure out a way to make the sale work, Im impressed.
