The Grand Indian Cuisine in Roseville

A pleasant surprise! Were starting to learn that the best Indian food is in towns youd never expect. Next to Phoenix Arizona this is the best Indian place weve tried in California! The only reason its not 5 stars is because of that benchmark.Ordered the spicy mushroom curry and the vegetable dosa. HIGHLY recommend but be warned that medium is still incredibly spicy. Im Korean. Thought I could hang... The roof of my mouth is literally burned, not from the temperature. But tasted so good it didnt deter me. Dosa is deliciously fermented so if you like more of that sourdough taste then youll love these. The chutneys they came with were good.The owners are also clearly quick to adapt to change. They had invested in robo servers and little smart dispensers during COVID to safely keep serving. Love it!

Total rip off, $14 for 12 pieces literally and the Paneer 65 was bland with no salt on top of that. Plus extra charge for using credit card. What a waste!

Visited here last week. Ordered —1:Tandoori chicken, thought the test was good but felt like chicken wasn’t fresh. It was dry from inside. Didn’t like it. 2: Chicken Biriyani— Biriyani is good for those who don’t like spices, flavours etc. it was not even close to Real Dum Biriyani. Spoke to owner about the test of biriyani and he assured me to come over there again to test their real Indian style Chicken dum biriyani 3: Ordered Chicken Unlimited Thali- it was good . Staffs were friendly and food was also served on time

Delicious! Fish Fingers (pictured) were perfectly done and just enough spice. Also enjoyed Samosa appetizer, Shrimp Vindaloo & Butter Paneer. All were expertly prepared.

This was the best Indian food weve ever had! We travel all over the country and most Indian places lack depth of flavor. This was vibrant and full of spice and flavor. The Chettinad style was amazing and my new favorite. Our server, Kamal was attentive and informative . He made the meal even better.We went with the Samosas, which were incredible and served with mint chutney and coconut chutney. The Meduvada (dal donut) was my new favorite appetizer. Its a soft lentil donut with a crispy exterior and amazing sauces. The Mysore Masala Dosa was insanely huge and flavorful, stuffed with potato masala. We could eat those daily. The Chettinad veg biryani was next level good. Packed with flavor, spice, and veg. We also tried the Ghee porotta, which was tasty like a flatbread croissant. Everything came with several chutneys, including tamarind, raita, sambar, and more, which were all so rich in flavor. The quantity was amazing and prices were a great value for the quality of food. Dont miss the mango Lassi and the cold coffee! We cant wait to come back and try it all.

The food and drinks (Mango lassi and Chai) tasted good but my wife and I felt like the restaurant cheaped out on quantities. The Chai amount was pitiful, $3 for a shot glass of what is essentially Flavored black tea. On the mango lassi they didnt even fill it up to the top. For the tandoori chicken I got about 5 small-medium size pieces for $17. Needless to say we wont be back.

This place is amazing! The service is attentive and invested in how you enjoy the cuisine. I ordered extra spicy curry and they let me know with warning it would be HOT but I insisted. They delivered and it was perfect, no punches pulled.Everything was so delicious and I cant wait to return to try everything. The portions are generous and still just as tasty the next day as leftovers!

Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter was very nice. Our service provider was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Great atmosphere with really nice people.I will give 10/10 in number.Food spices were very authentic. I never had a dosa like this...Super amazing, super delicious, super tasty!!Go for it!Must recommended this place if you love south indian food!

Love the food and atmosphere there. One of my favorite places for Indian cuisine. I go almost every week there.

Ok...first I was going to give this place a 5 star rating after eating here yesterday. The food was so good....i did not look at the receipt...I just took it and left and threw it away.My daughter asked me today if i would take her here...so i began to read some of the reviews only to see they are purposely stealing from people...and charging extra fees..like a 3.99% fee if you use a credit card...but they add it to your bill even before asking you how you are paying. Unless you read the fine print on the front page of the menu before you go...you will never know to bring cash.I knew to pay with cash because I came yesterday. The guy did not even ask if I was paying card or cash...and still he charged me a credit card fee....look at my receipt..Then...while I was at the register...he tried to bribe me to leave a 5 star review to give me a 10% discount...that he already added to my bill unwarranted.If you want to come to a business that steps from their customers...come here. I hate liars and thieves. They literally are thanking their customers by being sneaky and charging us additional fees...if you do not look at your receipt...you could miss this.I will pray to the Lord about what they did to me and He will use His power to stop them.It is no accident that the Lord sent me here...people never know who will come to their business...big mistake stealing from a child of God...Good luck staying open after this.Im.not even talking about the food.
