Beautifully renovated, amazing sound, great visibility everywhere, 2 great bars, spotless restrooms, very nice personnel... It has it all! Program is getting better and better and its easy to find a few concerts or events we like

2023-10-28 11:06:16My new favorite music venue. It was the first time back since April when I attended the Bob Weir Wolf Brothers Trio with special guests five day residency. Awesome Lucero and Motherhips concert on 10/22. Looking forward to the six shows I have coming up. The venue is very intimate with a limited seating capacity floor and mezzanine (500?) but impeccably clean with a friendly staff in all job roles Best of all the sound is mind blowing with Meyer sound system. Concerts sell out fast here.

2023-11-11 20:52:57The Guild is a spectacular venue to see live music. Been to a few shows here. The place is small enough you can see the stage from the bar. Bathrooms are gender neutral and extremely nice. Had the same 2 bartenders every time I’ve gone, they are very friendly and super helpful. Every employee there has been incredibly friendly. This is my new favorite live music venue. Once the band starts, they let in & out privileges to smoke. The Guild just gets better and better with every visit!

2023-07-08 16:13:09Guild Theatre is an absolutely amazing venue to see a show. It’s intimate and aesthetically beautiful and has a great sound system and is easy to move around to the bar or restrooms. Saw Toad the Wet Sprocket with Mini Tree there on 7/6 and walked away so impressed with the overall experience. Look forward to going back.

2023-04-17 16:49:29What an amazing job the owners have done with this former movie house. The space is remarkable, with a two level GA floor, reserved seating on the mezzanine, and a bar on each floor. The sound system is excellent and I appreciate the video monitors in each floor that allow you to see the artist from anywhere in the club. The icing on the cake is that the washrooms are spotless. I will come back again and again.

2023-02-18 17:53:22This is a quaint entertainment venue thats located in Menlo Park. I was surprised that general admission tickets meant youd be standing the entire night. However, seating was available upstairs for a premium cost. Nevertheless, I got there early and decided to stand by the rails. The place got packed pretty quick and when the band, Pride & Joy took the stage, it was non-stop dancing and singing. They are a wonderful band and I had a GREAT time there. Next time Ill wear my jeans and tennis shoes and will fit right in. Also, downstairs, there were 4 gender neutral restrooms, and 1 was ADA compliant.

2023-05-26 17:27:32This place is gorgeous and immaculate. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a venue. And an amazing green room. Minus 1 star for sound quality. I was surprised. We sat in the mezzanine and there was a lot of bass, maybe from the flown subs. And the right side fill was distorted all night.

2023-04-15 07:25:26What a great venue for music. Just saw X here. It was my first visit. I cant wait to see more shows at The Guild. The sound system is fantastic, the room is small enough that it feels intimate, no matter where you are.The general admission section on the floor is divided into 3 levels, so everyone gets a great view of the stage.Exene (singer for X) said from the stage that it was the nicest place theyd ever played!Parking is plentiful and free all over the place, and its a safe neighborhood. All in all, a great place to get up close with the music in a friendly space.

2023-06-14 00:46:29BROTHERS COMATOSE FTW!!The venue used to be a movie theater but they turned it into a band performance place. Honestly was great and I loved the lighting. The Guild Theatres upper area has a really nice view and bar. 5/5
