2023-11-23 05:31:37A cozy restaurant for Nepalese cuisine. Food is delicious and service is very good. I like their vegetarian thali. Friend loved their chicken thali. Noodles and momos are great too. Loved their fried rice.

2023-11-25 17:46:33We love Nepali food and we have been missing it in the tri-valley. So grateful that this joint opened up and the best part was that the food was great. We started with a light appetizer called Wai wai sendeke. They have kept it as authentic as possible since the momos didn’t have much spice in the filling, which is how it’s supposed to be. The Jhol Momo was soothing. My husband took the Goat thali and it was perfect for a winter evening.

2023-10-22 03:03:25We had takeout, even though I dont think we had to pick tip(s), it was still pretty good overall. I loved the naun with the kashiri lamb, I think.

2023-12-05 04:40:08The ambiance at Gurkha Kitchen is both sophisticated and inviting. The service is impeccable. Food was great. I ordered khaja set and tandoori chicken. It was delicious and the portion size were generous too. I will visit this place again when I go to San Ramon.

2023-11-19 03:03:41The food is unique and delicious. The staff is super friendly and will happily guide you on making choices of the relatively unknown cuisine of Nepal. The aloo bodi tama soup is AMAZING. I can imagine getting a quart to go for treating my next cold.

2023-10-11 08:49:06I am giving 4 stars just because how much I like the Gurkha kitchen - Sunnyvale’s taste. We got jhol momo and goat curry to-go today from San Ramon’s location because we were pretty excited about this new location. The momo was super over-cooked that the meat was all falling off that affected the taste. We ordered jhol momo -says jhol momo on the ticket yet got regular momo achar . The goat curry was alright, the Sunnyvale location has really good goat curry. I am a regular customer at Gurkha kitchen Sunnyvale and I felt the food taste and quality wasn’t quite the same. Hopefully you’ll work on it! Good luck.

2023-10-24 08:12:09Im very glad to see an Indian restaurant open in the plaza again. We ordered three entrees and shared amongst three people and it was enough for multiple servings for each people. 2 orders of Chicken Tikka Masala + 1 order of butter chicken .We also ordered 3 naan bread, and that was enough to share between us as well.Price feels a bit expensive relative to other places in the local area, but the food was also good quality and decent value so dont let it deter you.Definitely give them a try!
