Reliably tasty burgers and fries paired with great service has made this one of my favorite fast food spots in the area. Theyre always efficient in taking and serving orders. Food comes hot and delicious not long after you order it, and the tables and other dining surfaces are clean. The staff are always hustling and doing their best by customers. I was inspired to finally leave them a review after watching a manager de-escalate a frustrated customer with thoughtfulness and care. Overall a great spot for a quick bite near the mall.

The patty tastes like chewy salted shoe leather; theyre pre-cooked to near carbon & not made to order (you can see them stacked up high on the side of the grill). Buns & toppings are OK, so are the milkshakes. Not thrilled with this place; theyd do a lot better away from the bay area- somewhere with little to no high-end burger competition.

I had a craving for a hamburger so I decided to try The Habit. When I asked for a hamburger to be cooked medium rare, I was told that they only cook them well done. I told him to cook it as rare as he could. I also ordered fries and a shake. When I got home with the food, I opened the wrapping and chopped lettuce fell out all over my kitchen floor and counter. I would expect that from Burger King but not for a supposedly high-end burger. The meat was cooked well done and it seemed very small, certainly not a third of a pound. The fries had so much salt shaken on them I I couldnt eat them. The whole thing was a greasy mess. The milkshake however was very good. I wouldnt recommend The Habit. There are many better choices in the area.

First time here and received the best customer service on Tuesday. I saw the name tag read “Denis” and the young guy re-read my custom order, got it right and food was ready with-in 10 minutes. Really made my experience great when Denis brought our food to the table for my Grandma. The entire interaction was well received and the indoor dining was perfect, clean and they played great music. Will be back soon!

ALWAYS good!! We come here alllllll the time over so many other places. And the customer service is great. The only problem is sometimes they mess up the burger condiments….but usually they’re on point lol. Great fresh quality burgers (I LOVE their plant based impossible burger) and regular fresh beef burgers and this place is more affordable than many other fast food joints - minus in-n-out of course

I would say this is relatively similar to places like In and Out and Five Guys. The burger is slightly better than places like McDonalds and Burger King but not that much better. Because they are too busy, once in while you might end up getting a burger thats not fully cooked.

The hours say they close at 11pm, but they actually lock their doors early before 10:30pm and only allow door dash delivery, not even personal pick up. I asked the man who opened the door if I could place an online pick up order and he said yes. I went to my car to place an order online and it wouldn’t allow me to complete the transaction. They should just change their hours online if they aren’t going to let people order at all for the last half hour.

Our go-to freshly made burgers every Weds lol.Nothing crazy. If you like habit - come on down. Their consistent over here!Tucked away in the corner of the huge plaza, parking isnt too bad but it will get packed since other stores are open late as well. Panera, ATTIts always packed, so seats are limited and unfortunately, its not always clean and you have to clean your table. Bathrooms arent super clean so be mindful.The good - the employees are so nice, they work fast paced, and always put a hustle in every order. (Doordash order) I remember coming back because they completely messed up our order and the person at the register (wasnt the manager, comped our entire meal as well as making a new fresh order for us).Theyre all really attentive and always willing to pack your bag with sauces, extra utensils, and triple check that you got everything in your order in front of you. They have an outstanding tasting burger. Usually, that’s all I eat there. They are known for that so yeah, the burger is great. I only deducted one star because their chicken is only okay. One of the best fast-casual restaurant experiences Ive ever had! The staff is more than just friendly, they take care of you throughout your entire meal. Because the nature of the environment is fast paced, it is natural to have error sometimes BUT the way they fix an issue is the deal breaker for me. Theyll flip a problem around and turn it into such a professional and positive experience! They really make you feel taken care of. This is all done while keeping the safety of their customers and staff with their procedures for the pandemic. Not to mention the food is great! They give what In-N-Out gives plus more! 10/10 would recommend.

One of my favorite fast food burger joints that I go to despite having my order wrong 99% of the time. I always order the double char with only Mayo, pickles, raw onions and an extra patty. Somehow, my order always gets messed up. Some of the managers are better than others. They are very accommodating and will just make me a new burger just the way I wanted and also a coupon for a free burger that I never really end up using. The staff is pretty friendly most of the time but the turnover seems high. Food is consistently good and the place is clean. Expect to sit outside or fight for a seat when you show up prime time.

Good place to grab a quick bite. The Burger is pretty good, not great. I only say that because I got the barbecue bacon Burger and there was barely any barbecue sauce in it. The burger was decent... I would say an in and out burger Is a bit better. Their fries and onion rings were the very redeemable aspect about it. They are crispy and delicious, I would get both. I love this place. Best burger in town (in n out has its own category). It is usually busy and there is usually a line, so you have to wait to order and wait with a buzzer for your food. But the burgers are really fresh and the food comes out freshly made and piping hot. In fact if you order onion rings online they wont fry them until you arrive to pick up your order.

Habit is one of my favorite places where I know I am going to get a good burger every time, recently ive been without transportation and have been using postmates. Only a few times have I ever received the sides of ranch with my order, this normally wouldnt be a big issue for me, however, when theyre 50 cents a piece it is really annoying that it is happening almost every single time.

I havent tried any of their other sandwiches, but their burgers are great! always juicy, fries are always made fresh, as are the onion rings. There can be a line out the door though, so if you are in a rush it might not be the best place. You can however order ahead and pick up your order when you get there. Seating is fairly limited compared to how many people are there, so getting it to go might be a good option anyhow. Parking can be a bit of an issue as the lot its in can get pretty busy at times.

This restaurant can’t handle online orders. On their direction, I waited more than a half hour after my scheduled pickup time, and then was told that “it’s not in their system” and that I need to call customer service. Showing them the actual online order made to the correct store made no difference. Nobody offered to make the food or even an apology.So, now I’m out a half hour and $20. Get it together, The Habit.

This place is terrible the customer service does not exist if you are black. I ordered a grilled chicken salad over the phone and asked for the chicken well done they put in my order as a chicken ceaser salad no big deal right WRONG these people thought that i was supposed to take the wrong ordered food and they refused to remake the order. They refused to give me a refund and called the police they never gave me a refund and i had to call customer service to put in a request for a refund all for them refusing to fix my food that was paid for correctly this place is a joke and will never see me or my family again.

We go to The Habit as a group. All but one of us has a physical handicap. The personnel at Habit are trained to treat all of the customers as people of value and we feel the same caring.Each of us has our favorite burger/sandwich, favorites lists are growing as we try new things. For myself, I usually try the special sandwich and a salad. I love the dinner salads, and often buy one to take home for the next day. (The croutons are fresh and crunchy!) The green beans are to fight over. We buy one or two trays to share between us as well as fries or onion rings.Habit has a variety of non alcoholic beverages. I enjoy their unsweetened teas, but others elect the soft drinks or the sweetened teas.I use the condiment bar. I enjoy the pepper varieties and the lemons come in handy with the drinks or salads.The serving staff often drop by the tables to make sure guests are enjoying the dining experience.Oh yes, I have also received hugs from other customers. This is a nice family, small group, and individual dining place! Enjoy!

This place is great! My favorite is the Portabella Char and the BBQ Chicken Salad. Their chicken nuggets are awesome too, you can taste the difference compared to other restaurants that sell chicken nuggets! Chocolate Malt is my usual drink. I see these popping up in a few places I go but Im not going to give them my business.EDIT- after my negative review I was promptly contacted by the company with apologies towards my visit. The urged me to contact them trough email with the promise of making this right. I did take them up on their offer and emailed them. I still have not received any info on making anything right. I was under the impression that they wanted to remedy the situation. I was not looking for free food or gift certificate, but again, I was asked to email them. I encourage the company to make a better effort to make it right.

Definitely one of the best fast-food burgers in the Daly City Colma area. They need to be a little more diligent about cleaning their tables when you dine in but other than that. Hours are from 10:30 AM to 11 PM. Staff is incredibly affable at the register, kitchen, and when they bus the tables. Lines are usually out the door since there are only two registers and the restaurant can be busy, especially evenings or weekends.I love ordering The Habits burgers. Theyre savory and flavorful. Fries are not soggy or too salty. The homemade strawberry basil lemonade is also refreshing. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We got the golden fried chicken and the Ahi Tuna burger which both lacked flavor. We were unable to finish the burgers due to how bad it was. We will most definitely not come back. I think the best thing we did have was the coke, but even then you cant fill your stomach with Coke for dinner.

All I can say is wow! My fiancé and I visited The Habit Burger Grill for the first time and we were impressed with the Original Charburger. I loved the toasted bun. The burger was great and the fiancee loved the tri-tip. The kale salad was big enough for two people to split comfortably. It beat In N out Burgers by 0.01 points.Both burgers taste great and you cant go wrong with either. I will say that Super Duper is a higher quality burger, but it not in the same price range. This Place sits above In N Out, but cheaper than Super Duper. The best thing going for this place is that they grill their burgers, so you get that smokey charr taste. It reminds me of a backyard bbq party. While there were similar taste to in n out cause they use a similar sauce, there were inconsistency of taste as i finished my burger. In comparison Habit burgers are 25% bigger than In N out, but they do not toast the bun, so it soft and soggy.I have no doubt that this will be a really popular place and I would feel indifferent if someone made me choose between In n out or Habit.
