Giselle is proactive, professional and friendly!During the event setup we had all of the support of the team managed by Giselle.Bella, Giselles assistant and the other staff were very friendly, energetic and hospitable too.Our Event went flawless thanks to the team!Dinas Deluxe Events recommends the Hollins House as a fabulous historical venue with beautiful trees, gardens, views and floor plans for your wedding or other celebration!

This place is gorgeous. Giselle is the sweetest . Im a planner and this place is perfect for a wedding with head count of 150 .

Our daughter recently held her wedding at this venue and it was absolutely amazing. The view from the lawn was beautiful, restful and flanked by two stately oak trees. The buffet was elegantly presented with outstandingly fresh fare. The strands of lights were magical after dusk. Overall a top rate experience. The only piece of advice, do not put your drink down, it will be collected quicker than a blink.

Had a really great dinner. Was there early and got a table in the bar area which is classic worn in wood paneled and great views - could see all the way to Monterey. Out waitress was absolutely great - fun and available but didnt rush. Everything we had was delectable and we will definitely come back. The chef himself brought out dessert (warm chocolate cake with ice cream which rocks) and it was clear he takes pride in whats happening at Hollins House.

Was there for a wedding. Nice place and the event staff was great and on point. Staff was very friendly and courteous but never out of place. View was great food was fantastic. We had a great time. Definitely a gem.

We found Hollins House through The Knot and fell in love with it when we toured. After that, we compared every venue we toured to Hollins, and took a second tour before finally committing to it. We are so glad we chose Hollins House for our wedding venue! We loved the look of the space, from the elegant ballroom to the breathtaking view. The space was large enough without feeling empty with a smaller party. We also loved the flow of the space for our ceremony and reception. No trapsing back and forth through multiple floors or side of the space, just a simple counterclockwise flow throughout the event.Giselle, the venues coordinator, was amazing. She knows her stuff and was super helpful throughout the entire process. When we came to the rehearsal, she directed everything perfectly and made me feel even more confident that I was in good hands for my wedding day. On the day of, she made everything super easy for me and kept everything moving along without a (visible) hitch. For example, I found out the next day that our best man forgot the rings at the hotel (thankfully only minutes away!) and had to run and get them right before we started the ceremony. Giselle sheltered my (brides) side from that info, which Im very grateful for because I definitely would have panicked. Instead I felt calm knowing everything was under the control of Giselles capable leadership.Our guests have been raving ever since the big day about how perfect everything was. Weve been told by many of our parents generation that we have set the bar way too high for the others in our generation and that no one will be able to compete with our wedding (we are both the oldest kids of our families and 1st to marry). The perfection and magic of our wedding was, in a large part, due to Hollins House, Giselle, and the rest of its staff. The food and drinks were so delicious and well made. The service from the staff was exceptional.I honestly cant say enough great things, and there isnt anything that I can say needs improvement or was a negative. We are both so happy with Hollins House and would highly recommend them for anyone hosting a wedding or event and looking for this style of venue.

One of the best meals Ive had in quite some time. They had a black cod dish on the special menu and it was phenomenal. Views are incredible, value was excellent and service was solid. If Im ever back in the area I will go out of my way to come back here.

Beautiful place to wine and dine in Santa Cruz with breathtaking views. The menu is a nice collection of different cuisines with an homage to local ingredients (King Salmon).My tip: Try the Tuna Poke, which is playfully served under a large, thin rice paper wafer

The Hollins House is perfection. The space and views are beyond gorgeous. The staff is warm and friendly. The food is delicious and high quality. Carter and the wedding team could not have been any better. I am so honored to have gotten married in such an idyllic place surrounded by such amazing people. We go back all the time for dinner and are never disappointed. One of the absolute highlights of the Bay Area.
