The best Home Depot I have ever shopped at. Every employee I talked too, was so nice and accommodating. Unlike the Home Depot on Jefferson, a pure night mare store with hardly any staff on the floor, this store has plenty of staff, they are well stocked, and the store is very organized. I was pleasantly surprised. Special thank you to Jose at the paint department who went above and beyond to help me find everything I need and guide around the department helping me find what I needed. Also thank you to Michali and the rest of the nice staff at this Home Depot

Visited this Home Depot around 9 pm on a Tuesday it was slow not to many people. Found what I needed quickly we had no inconvenience at all. And of-course picked up some flowers affordable pricing for nice flowers.

Hi Home Depot shoppers,I would like to share an incident that happened in november 23nd 2023 around 10:30Am at home depot store located at 271 E spring st, signal hill.I witnessed a few customer waiting in the line there was 2 cashregister near the prodesk one of the casheir was chatting with the customer over 15 minutes and exchanged phone number one of the customers aproached the cashier and explained to her this is not a place to chat we have work to get to the cashier responded with an additute Go back to the line the second customer approached her to tell her that what she is doing is not right but the cashier just ignored the customer the third customer lost his patience and then an argument broke out with the 3rd customer and the cashier the argument was kinda loud but the sad thing was that the head of the cashier her name was Maria she should up with 3 other workers and acted like a gangster toward the customers and it was unbelivable i have never seen anything like this is and the customer was asking to speak to the manager even when the 2 managers showed up those home depot employees were still shouting toward the customer even when the 2 managers showed up they didnt even handle the situation right they should have tooken the employee out of the floor and investigate why this even happened and i belive they dont deserve to be part of customer service and this store should be reported to the BBB and also to measuring wages i think this store needs new managment i strongly belive Lowes is the better store with with customer service.Jessica Donaldson.

Asked 3 different people for help to purchase a kit. They all said someone will help you in a moment. 20 mins later i decided to just leave. I would stay away from getting in-store help. Purchase it online have it delivered or pick it up. Thats what i will do.

I was very pleased with the Home Depot that I went to in Long Beach. I found a plant that I really liked and wanted. The cashier reduced the price of it for me. I could have kissed her. This is a perk that only a Home Depot has. I havent experienced it any where else. Have you? Not in this day and age.

I know no one asked but kind of annoying that Ive applied to like 100 jobs in the last month or two and no one gets back to me... I am literally writing reviews to places Ive applied to even went in and called etc that havent gotten back because why tf arent you doing your job?? be fr I got bills to pay and school doesnt start until Jan for me its not that hard to hire one individual. people/managers swear this generation doesnt want to work but bruh I am giving all I got for one minimum wage job the real problem is these ppl with power DONT want to do THIER jobs when it is so simple to do. and im not even exaggerating Ive applied EVERYWHERE wake tf up and do your jobs!!! ppl who actually want work are hurting out here smh.

This place has no place to park due to the extreme amount of vendors in the parking lot if you want burritos, sodas, leather belts, and every Home Depot type products being sold outside the store from non-Home Depot people, here is the place for you to go. I’m surprised Home Depot or the manager in general would allow this to happen while their customers do not have a place to park. These people are getting free rent in the parking lot. I want to find stuff to sell myself and come here because they obviously don’t do anything about it are enforcing. This is getting out of hand. I do find that Lowes is a lot better these days, and will be taking the lead over Home Depot which I’ve been loyal to for more than 30 years. What goes up must come down.

If I could give their customer services negative stars I would.This whole experience was just irritating. This was my family and first xmas tree shopping experience and it was not jolly at all. We literally waited for over 30 mins for someone to come assist us, which is weird since they had plenty of staff just standing around doing nothing but chit-chatting. Every time we would ask if someone was on their way or we simply had a quick question we would get the run around because according to their employees no one was part of gardening so they couldnt assist us. They paged someone about 3 times until finally we decided to go to a different Home Depot, Paramount (by the way...BEST Customer service there PARAMOUNT) Excuse me but you dont necessarily need to be in a certain department to have good customer service skills, makes me wonder if Corporate gives their employee proper training for general customer services because reading more reviews from this particular store, they lack in their customer services department. The whole time everyone was mainly hanging by the registered on the phone or on their cell phone.

How is it that on Saturday afternoon there are no Millwork employees available. We spent 35 minutes waiting in the back of the store for a Millwork employee. After paging twice and calling the self-help number posted on the phone no assistance was available. We happen to be leaving the store and run into the supervisor and manager whose response was simply were sorryTheres a training opportunity here, when you hear a department being paged twice send someone to help a customer. No action is not a response

Normally when I go to Home Depot it is usually a great experience. But it only takes one bad experience to ruin it and leave a bad taste in your mouth. Mine, or Aline, is the associate I asked for help. Without looking at me, I ask her if she could help. She simply says in a minute. I then proceed to wait at the machine. She comes up and sticks her hand out and I give her my keys to be copied. I dont know if she had a lot of go backs but I believe common human interaction skills should be priority.

To Re-key a lock $5 good deal but. I personally find it hard to believe a business with so many employees would only have one or two people are trained to do the job. Its not very customer friendly if you have to call to find out if someone is working that is capable of doing the job or you might be required to make a second trip for a simple 5-minute run to home depot. It took me two and a half hours to get my job done. because they did not have someone to rekey a lock.and it would be 2 hours before someone that was capable of doing the job would be there.Just a heads up if you need to get a re-key done. you better call before you waste your time like I was required to do.

Theres 2 things that make this HD better than the others. 1) the staff - I spotted the tub surround I wanted all the way at the top. It didnt take me more than a short walk to find an employee already on a forklift ready to pull it for me. 2) the checkout - this HD has almost all self checkout stands, 8+ I think and the lines move fast!

It been at a raising bar mode with employees being attentive to assist, i have not to look for one employee for help in a while, few of them aproach to offer help, in comparison to other time periods. Ive been coming to this location for many, many moons, it has a lot of good stuff to offer. I like the activities for kids that they offer once a month, first Saturday of the month. If you cannot stay, you can take it home. The staff is friendly, although there are times that a worker is hard to find (possibly helping other customers since they all are assigned a specific area). I do appreciate a bit more the workers that help out even if its not their area.They have a rewards program for adults. The store is kept clean. They have self check out and also regular registers. Theres a return section that is well staffed. I havent had an issue returning items as long as I had the receipt and all items were brought back.Theres plenty of parking. Entrance is automatic so wheelchair friendly. Overall they have what one is looking for and if not the exact item, something close to it.

The workers there were on point and very understanding Richard was very cool and willing to help find what I needed. Customer service was awesome as well. Very willing to help me in finding a fruit tree. I have never been treated with such disregard after waiting 10 minutes for this sales person I told her what I needed she showed something different then when didnt take her suggestion She coped a major attitude turned her back on and dismissed me, and basically said find someone else to help you. Her attitude was Im Black your white and I dont care so I asked to speak to a manager so up walks a 300 LB Black man with the same pompous attitude I knew he was no Manger so then he called HD gang like 10 guys giving me the stink eye standing there like they wanted fight! I was shocked Ive been a regular customer there over 10 years and now I see why there buisness had slowedIt seems this BLF/Covid attitude has ruined our work forces no matter what color you are everyone has major entitlement issuesWell anyway I would have taken it a higher level management right then but I was in a hurry running late.I hate writing reviews like this! Located off the freeway exit, this place is in a cool location. Its on top of a hill and has a large parking area.Came to grab some tools and had help right away. Very friendly people, would recommend asking whatever questions you have.

My fiance was accused of stealing something from this store and as he was walking out the door, loss prevention tried to stop him and when he told them that he didnt take anything, one guy tried to grab his backpack off of his back but my fiance side stepped him so the loss prevention guy proceeded to grab him and literally threw him outside onto to wet cement *it had just rained* and when my fiance went to stand up, the LP took it even further and pulled out his firearm and pointed it at my fiance.It took him at least 45minutes to get through to a manager *as well as being hung up on by one of the managers in the process of getting a hold of someone* when he went inside to talk to the manager, he asked to see the video surveillance of the situation and he was told that he was not allowed to see it and to not come back to the store.I dont think that the whole situation was handled completely unprofessional!

My experience at this Home Depot is always a pleasant one. So far everyone is willing and happy to help a customer if you need help finding what your looking for. The parking lot is clean and other then certain times during the day when it’s at its busiest finding parking is easy. I’m a contractor and one thing I wish for is more parking spots for contractors. The customer service doesnt leave much to be desired. Overheard another customer ask an employee for help, the employee was rather rude. My husband tried getting help from an employee in the garden section. Either she didnt hear which led her to walk away really quick or she heard and didnt want to help. We like Home Depot for the items they carry but their customer service is non-existent. Maybe these were isolated incidents today. We usually give businesses three tries so we will see.

Today I was looking for a specific Mower and I couldnt find it in the aisle and neather did the person in that department. The person that was in that department even called the manager Mario which never came to help. I didnt give up since the website said they had 10 in stock I went to customer service and Im so happy I did! I think the person helping me was Gabi in the customer service today around 3pm. She did try to call the manager again but once again he never could be found so she called Jamal and he saved the day! I am really grateful that they helped me today, thank you so much for the great customer service!

Sometimes the employees there are REALLY helpful, sometimes they arent. I already have anxiety going there when I have something I need to fix around my house with no help and its always refreshing when someone there is able to help me and provide excellent customer service. Its pretty frustrating when some wont even show you where an item is. Most of the time, theyre helpful.

ONLY PROBLEM is, They dont take care of their employees nor care about OUR ENVIRONMENT..If they did, they wouldnt be having their employees SELL TOXIC CHEMICALS Like ROUND UP and Numerous other Band CANCER GIVING CHEMICALS KNOWN to Cause Cancer and Birth defects and the Employees and customers BREATHE all of these CHEMICALS whenever shopping there.. On my last visit I had to rent a gas powered tiller and when I was in this area of the store paying for the Rental,I Literally could not TOLERATE the Toxic odors of All the chemicals back there and felt EXTREMELY bad for the people working in that area. Feeling the way I did, wanting to do Something, ANYTHING for them. I related My thoughts and recommended that they bring this information about the poor ventilation and Toxic Cancer causing odors to someone with AUTHORITYS attention .

Went in asked for assistance heard it over the intercom 3 mins later a gentleman came asked us which grill we needed. It wasnt his department but he knew who to ask to get the grill from the back for us. The whole trip took 20min. Customer service is quick, albeit not very talkative, but I dont really mind that all too much considering how helpful they are. I am a regular at Home Depot. They are well stocked, organized, and customer service is very helpful. However, self check out is plentyful, usually empthy and or short, but the maned employee cashier are limited and there is usually a wait. I think because most customers feel having a cashier help you is part of customer service. We are customers not employees of HomeDepot. I will continue to shoo there because I enjoy gardening and DIY projects. HomeDepot is my go to.

Manny has great customer service and has been extremely helpful and patient when helping me with the power tools, I always return. Seems odd they dont and it feels more like they dont want to bother with it. If you happen to have a cashier like that, my suggestion is after the first try, just go to customer service/returns. The only reason Im giving this a one star is because the restrooms were absolutely disgusting, both mens and womens and while waiting for the rest of my party to join me, I watched six employees walk by something on the ground and a couple of them tripped over it and turned around to look down on the ground and just kept walking. I saw a gentleman that looked like he needed some help and was looking for merchandise but these same six employees didnt pay him any mind. The worst was in the garden section when an employee flat out ignored to even respond to me as i asked my questions. Tonight was the final straw. I went to get paint at the homedepot on Spring st in Long beach and Carlos said that he couldnt use the bar code off the sample i had to make a 5 gallon bucket of paint. When i said couldnt you just use the same ratios for a 5 gallon, he said that thats not how it works. I asked him to call the store on Cherry, because they never have any isssues. Long story short, i drove 10 minutes down the road to the store on Cherry and had ny paint in 5 minutes.It was less than a month ago that i had the same issue. This gentleman considered himself tech savy and thought he could work around the issue, only to say the computer was having technical issues. He called the manager, who is a young fit guy, and they could not resolve the issue. Again, I drove 10min down the road and had my paint in 5 minutes.On another occassion i showed up to paint and there was an African American gentleman and a woman with a rainbow apron working. They never acknowledged me standing there. After 5-10min i spoke up only to find out there was about 5 people who had been there longer and unacknowledged. The two were behind the counter doing notthing the whole time. The african American gentleman is very pleasant when i come in, but he really doesnt know the computer program very well. This was my first run in with the woman with a rainbow apron.There is also a silver haired gentleman, who is very knowledgeable about paint, but is not very savy on the computer. He failed to save my colors on a few occassions, but i believe he has worked through the issue.There has been several other time that my colors were not saved or i was told that they couldnt use my sample barcode to make a 5 gallon bucket. I have probably wasted 20hrs over the last year dealing with the paint department at homedepot on Spring st. This department is a joke, and a poor reflection on the store. The employees are not adequately trained, and have wasted too much of my time. I will be doing my business with the store on Cherry from now on, even though they are farther away for me.
