The Huntington Chinese Garden - Garden of Flowing Fragrance in San Marino

Its a serene oasis that reflects traditional Chinese garden design, featuring lush landscapes, meandering paths, pavilions, and picturesque lakes. An Enchanting Escape at The HuntingtonI recently visited The Huntington in Los Angeles, and it was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in this beautiful city. The gardens, art collections, and library exhibits are well-curated treasures that make the price of admission worth every penny.The highlight of my visit was the Desert Garden. I was fortunate enough to see it in full bloom, a rare and spectacular sight. The variety of cacti and succulents, interplaying with vibrant flowers, created a stunning tapestry of colors and forms that seemed almost otherworldly. It was a serene oasis that offered a moment of tranquility and awe amidst the bustle of city life.The Huntington is not just a place, but a journey through nature and art that captivates the soul. Whether you’re seeking inspiration, education, or just a beautiful day out, this institution is a must-see. It’s places like this that enrich our lives and remind us of the beauty that surrounds us.

Its one of my favorite places in LA. It is big and has so many beautiful gardens. The Rose Garden is stunning during the bloom season. We also love Childrens Garden. Our 3 years old son loves playing there. We just got the membership and looking forward to explore more.

The place is huge and beautiful. It has free parking. During my visit, I was able to see the Japanese garden, the Chinese garden, the European gallery, the rose garden, and the Toripacsl garden. Unfortunately for me and many more during my visit most of the galleries were closed. I believe it was due to the 4th of July weekend.And many areas were under construction and many access points were closed.The botanical greenhouse was also closed due to a snail infestation.It was still pretty but it was sad that many places were closed. Ill have to go again.

Absolutely stunning Chinese gardens - the pavilions, structures, bridges, walkways, trees, plants and water features are total perfection! When visiting the Huntington, make sure you devote a chunk of time to this area as it’s one of the most spectacular. If you’ve been before, it’s worth coming back as they’ve extended it recently with a whole new section to explore.

This garden is simply beautiful! So relaxing and calming. The Jade Court restaurant within the garden is a great place to have food. Overall, the garden is very much worth visiting.

The gardens were GORGEOUS, smell fresh, and look stunning. Definitely worth your while. I would suggest Sunscreen, walking shoes, and a light backpack if you need it

Thats absolutely the most amazing place to go out with family the garden is so huge that u will not finish in one day amazing nature calm place

What a magical place, I completely loved it and would come back anytime. The store is a danger though, many beautiful things to buy.
