2023-10-09 03:58:50Amazing place to visit. I went to the Japanese and Chinese gardens. It’s so pleasant and relaxing to walk around the grand beautifully landscaped grounds. I had a wonderfully prepared lunch of shrimp and cold noodle salad in the Chinese Garden cafe. The bonsais in the Japanese garden are a must see. Next time I go I want to see the Australian and desert gardens.

2023-10-31 02:29:21Incredible!!! Even better than I expected. I considered buying a membership and I dont even live in LA. 😂 They were setting up for a members only Halloween event as we were leaving Friday and it looked like it was going to be amazing!! Cant wait to go back. We were there for 5-6 hours, including a tearoom experience in the Rose Garden, and didnt see everything. Granted, we were there with a baby, but it was an easy place to go with the family. Very stroller accessible.

2023-11-07 14:45:19This is such a beautiful place. The gardens are spectacular. My personal favorite is the rose garden in spring. This last time we went we divided to try out the cafe. The staff was happy and friendly and the food was Topnotch. I love to take visitors here. It always impresses.

2023-11-04 21:42:52I rate the exceptional attraction at the Botanical Garden with no less than a five-star ✨ ⭐ rating. During my visit, I had the opportunity to explore the remarkable features, such as utilizing a microscope to capture my first-ever microscopic image of a leaf using my Pixel phone. The oil paintings on display left me in awe, and the vibrant array of colored fishe 🐠 🐟 including red, orange, golden yellow, black, and white, always leave a lasting impression. The captivating dwarf trees also consistently captivate my attention, prompting me to photograph them extensively during each visit to the Huntington Garden.I initially took advantage of the Free Day Tickets, available only once a year, for two visits. However, I have decided to become a member, granting me the privilege of enjoying the Gardens exquisite four-season colors and transformations throughout the entire year.

2023-12-03 22:08:32A 2-hour visit is just not enough. You can spend your whole afternoon staying inside. And the shoya house is closed at 4pm. I will book an afternoon tea appointment for the next time visit. Parking is free and easy. Plus, there are many exciting things to explore in the souvenir store.

2023-10-24 00:09:59Wow! If you get a chance to go here, do not miss it! This is the most incredible botanical garden Ive been to. Stunning! And huge! Its sprawling; I was there for 3 hours and only saw 2 gardens. Have plenty of time to explore, bring water and comfy shoes because youll be walking A LOT. Its obviously going to be busy most days but weekends and special events will be busier. Also go earlier in the day when its cooler and to limit time in the noonday sun. Food options onsite looked good. You will be taking lots of pictures. Give yourself plenty of time to ENJOY!!!

2023-12-03 20:11:58Absolutely stunning, even with a fair number of things being restored currently. The conservatory and lotuses in the Chinese garden will have to wait for another visit. The aloes were all in bloom and that made up for a lot 😍😍😍

2023-09-28 16:52:59This was a perfect place to go for my birthday date with my boyfriend! The gardens were absolutely beautiful and the museums were very well maintained and organized. I would definitely recommend going on a cooler day as only a few of the gardens have shade, but the museums are air conditioned! I would highly recommend coming here whether its for a family outing or date, and cant wait to come back!

The gardens, art collections, and library exhibits are well-curated treasures that make the price of admission worth every penny. The highlight of my visit was the Desert Garden. I was fortunate enough to see it in full bloom, a rare and spectacular sight. The variety of cacti and succulents, interplaying with vibrant flowers, created a stunning tapestry of colors and forms that seemed almost otherworldly. It was a serene oasis that offered a moment of tranquility and awe amidst the bustle of city life. The Huntington is not just a place, but a journey through nature and art that captivates the soul. Whether you’re seeking inspiration, education, or just a beautiful day out, this institution is a must-see. It’s places like this that enrich our lives and remind us of the beauty that surrounds us.

2023-11-27 02:26:28This is a world class library museum and garden. I feel like it’s a must for anyone who lives or is visiting the Los Angeles area. This place is huge and you can spend more than four hours in the big green spaces, galleries and gardens. It’s one of the best places to visit in SoCal.
