One of our favorite sushi spots!The food is amazing, make sure to try the famous Katsu-Ya crispy rice. The service is always good. The location is great and I think beats anything in the area at the price point. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area, but be ready for a pretty long wait if you don’t have reservations.

Nice restaurant with very fresh Japanese sushi. Its a bit pricy for what you get. Id rather go across the street to sugar fish. Fusion sushi is also another option although its not traditional and less quality but its a lot less pricy.

One of my fav sushi spots in the South Bay. Quality fish, always fresh, reasonable prices, around the corner from the beach. What’s not to love? Don’t sleep on the baked crab hand roll.

My husband and I have had a hard time finding good, clean sushi rolls in LA. A lot of other place’s menus have super saucy baked rolls crowding their menu. This menu had such a variety to offer. Everything that we ordered melted in my mouth - I loved the simplicity. Even the baked roll we got felt clean and wasn’t over the top with sauce or toppings.Make a reservation! We were walk-ins on a Saturday night. We put our name down around 5:45pm and were open to sitting anywhere. There were about 7 tables ahead of us and we didn’t sit down until close to 8pm. WORTH THE WAIT! But, ya know… reservations =)

Great atmosphere! Try sitting at the sushi bar, youll have a good time. Specialty rolls were delightful, but the salmon roll was a bit lackluster. Still looking for phenomenal sushi in the south bay...

Best sushi in town! Only thing is that they are always busy and wait is long, maybe around 3pm is when you can grab a few seats at the bar. Sushi is absolutely delicious, fresh and great quality. Variety of rolls and other dishes. Staff is courteous and kind. Located in MAnhattan Beach downtown. Great Japanese restaurant!

The cut rolls and sashimi are fantastic. We ordered yellowtail scallion, spicy tuna, and salmon avocado, and all were delicious. The crab hand roll is also amazing.We usually order takeout, and the earlier you order the better, as wait times can get long. It opened at 5pm, but I called and placed my order at 4pm for a 6pm pickup. Everything was ready to go. Highly recommend.

Perfect fish but too sour rice. I was surprised how the place by the ocean had so good menu and quality of dishes.

What a find! Sat at the sushi Bar and within 3 minute of arriving and ordered all of my favorites. They hit a pick crowd before I arrived. However, the Sushi Chef and the service team were friendly and attentive. Did I say the food was amazing! Not just the food, but everything. I’ll definitely return

One of the best sushi places Ive been to in Cali! The sushi was good, the prices were reasonable, the service was amazing. I felt welcomed which is incredibly important. Just a wonderful experience all around. Definitely on my list if go-tos when Im back to Cali. Will be back!!
