Its generic Mediterranean food, and its technically fast food. So, if youre looking for something more specific, maybe family-owned, maybe not-so-fast but made with love, then this isnt the place for you. But if youre looking for quality fast food (I guess you could call it gourmet fast food) and youre craving for your generic kebab, falafel, shawarma, etc., this is definitely one of your best options. Yes, its a chain (and a quickly-growing one), but the food is VERY good (Zagat and several newspapers in California apparently agree). The place is very clean and the service is good. The only thing I didnt find particularly impressive was the French Fries. Theyre plain and not seasoned, but theyre well-cooked. The sauces are also very good, but be careful with the red one its VERY spicy... Prices are reasonable.

Great little shop nussled in amongst another great restaurants. Definitely stands out as there is not a lot of kabob type places around. Had the chicken kabob wrap, it was FANTASTIC. I Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other wrap types, maybe even a plate or two. Definitely be more than one trip back.If you want to break away from your normal burger, burrito, Chinese food routine definitely hit this place.Clean facilities, friendly staff, really really good food.

Got to try out The Kebab Shop thanks to my Yelp Elite status. Got a San Diego wrap and a drink. For my protein I picked the steak with all the options of fixing.This wrap was HUGE! I only ate half and brought the rest home. Good amount of meat and the right amount of fillings. I asked for the green cilantro sauce (ya, I can eat it!) and she also gave me the garlic yogurt sauce and said I had to try it. I think I could drink them both, they were that good!Plenty of tables for indoor dining and lots of parking. I really liked this spot but it is a bit pricey. $20 for a wrap and a drink. But I like the location so I will be back with the hubby!

I love having lunch here. Ive only visited twice, and each has had superb service from the entire staff, especially the cashiers. Good job team!

Great Kebabs at this San Diego staple! Tasty food here, portions are big, so be prepared to be stuffed or just share and save some $$. Prices on point. Ingredients definitely feel fresh and thats a point of differentiation for such a good flavor. Their sauces are great too, nice complement for every bite. Modern ambiance and friendly people.Definitely a want to go kind of place.I wish they had more beverage options....

Great food! Scarfed it down so fast I forgot to take pictures! Must try the San Diego Wrap with the cilantro jalapeno sauce. Fabulous amount of food for the price! Will 100% return and highly recommend!

Favorite spot when I’m around the area. Esly recommended me the San Diego wrap and it was mouth watering! She was super nice and very attentive as I was a new customer.I will be coming back thanks to the customer services and San Diego wrap with fried and feta cheese.

I had such high hopes for this place. At first glance it hit all the check marks; local to SoCal, fusion of Mediterranean style and San Diego, rising success in Cali, Texas, and Florida, and interior looked upscale and well maintained.I ordered a chicken doner plate and spent just a bit shy of $20 and it was just the saddest Mediterranean plate you could hope to get. The chicken was well seasoned but lacked any roasting or charring to give it that depth of flavor, the fries were good and not too salty, and the tabbouleh had the tiniest pieces of diced tomatoes.I honestly thought they had a radical hot take on tabbouleh when I couldnt find the tomatoes, but they were there hiding in the bulgar.But what really upset me was the portion size. I paid $4 more than a chicken wrap, but somehow ended up with less food.The food is decent and palatable, dont get me wrong. But its not $20 good. Id be fine with the portion size if quality was better. Id be fine with the quality if I got a bit more food. But I got neither and the whole experience had me wishing I went to Massis instead.Service was great, but its not something to dote on when its an upscale version of fast food. And no ones coming here solely for the customer service.At the prices theyre asking for the food theyre serving, I dont have high hopes anymore.

Delicious!! I had the steak plate with kale salad and hummus with pita. The steak was cooked perfectly & the kale was definitely my favorite! Will be back with my family
