2023-12-02 21:37:24Have been going here for 20+ years. An oasis of affordable prices, and never have they shrunk their large portions. Everything on their menu is amazing (although my personal favorite is their walnut turkey salad sandwich). You cant go wrong by going here.

2023-11-13 19:18:57Great food, great service, and great location. This was the first restaurant I went to while I visited Los Angeles and it didnt disappoint me at all. The chicken breast was tender and delicious. The mashed potatoes and spinach was good as well then had the Arnold Palmer to end it. Very nice. Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

2023-09-26 02:22:28So glad this was the first stop after landing at LAX. Beautiful location right in the heart of Manhattan Beach and a couple of blocks from Manhattan Beach Pier. A nice steady flow of patrons dining in and taking out orders. Would have loved to sit out on the patio and it was a bit busier out than in, and definitely couldnt wait to eat, but still sat along the windows. Their French Market Onion Soup is out of this world. Chefs Kiss. Explosion of different cheeses. A slice of mozzarella and or swiss over the top and a large ball and pieces of cheese melted in the broth and pieces of baguette. The pieces of Parmesan Garlic Toast were an excellent touch and great for dipping as well.

2023-11-19 08:36:02My wife and I decided to end our day with a short road trip to Manhattan Beach. We drove to The Kettle and it was the right choice. We were seated almost immediately and the hostess and our server were incredibly friendly. It made us feel as if our business was truly appreciated. To drink I went with coffee. I drink it black and thanks to our attentive server Saira it never went empty. We began with the garlic steak fries. From a few seconds before they even hit the table we were hit with this incredible garlic perfume that rose from the plate. They were perfectly fried and had enough garlic to ward off a pack of vampires. So when it came to my burger I didn’t want to go double fries so I got my roasted garlic blue burger with onion rings. Now these onion rings were huge! They had this outrageous crunchosity. ( yes I am aware that is not a word, at least not yet.) On to the burger, cooked medium rare and oozing with an incredible blue cheesy garlicky deliciousness. Absolutely one of the best burgers I have had in a while. My wife went with the French Quarter burger with no pickles or onions on brioche instead of sour dough. For her side she went with fresh fruit. We most definitely will be back

2023-09-28 23:33:08This was my first time eating here, the views are amazing from the outside dining area! We enjoyed sitting in the sun for brunch and the food was amazing! It seems they were a little short staffed as the waiter seemed a bit distracted and forgetful, he forgot to take our order for quite some time. Im super excited that this is open 24 hours! I think we will become regulars here!I Loved my options and really enjoyed the visit besides the service

2023-08-26 09:00:00Pretty cool place. Atmosphere is diverse. We dined in after 12 am. Food was yummy and I highly recommend the hot chocolate. Pancakes aren’t that great but this place has the reputation, style and options you can enjoy late at night :)

2023-11-25 19:18:22Being parked on the corner of Highland and Manhattan Beach Blvd since 1973, The Kettle is one of the Last Bastions of Freedom that defends the character of Manhattan Beach from becoming Beverly Hills. Real ones know how much MB has changed over the past 20+ years from Wahoos shuttering its doors years ago and Tacolicious opening on its grave (paying $20 for 3 tiny little tacos feels like a sin), to the Manhattan Beach Pizzeria needing a gofund me to stay open. It feels like my childhood is being closed down. The Kettle and its 24 hour diner food has helped raise me. The amount of memories it has given me through time is endless: Eating with friends after school on half day Fridays, seeing Pau Gasol here in 2010, coming post prom night at 3am with our group of 20+, gathering here when someone in our group chat was down bad about a girl to regroup and talk it out, coming here fresh off the plane from LAX otw home from college to meet with your high school buddies to catch up, etc. The Kettle acts as sort of an Independence Hall for Manhattan Beach. When I was a chubby 12 year old kid without a care in the world, the spinach artichoke dip with piping hot pita bread on the side was there for me.When I was 17 and got my heart shattered into a million pieces, the chicken breast with scrambled egg whites with broccoli instead of potatoes was there for me.Now, a 27 year old BEAST, the chicken breast with scrambled egg whites with steak fries instead of potatoes and a Bran Muffin is there for me. Their Bran Muffin is actually undefeated, a spiritual experience really. The Kettle has seen me in every step of my evolution, and I know most, if not all, Manhattan Beach Lifers can say the same. If the Kettle ever goes, a part of the Soul of Manhattan Beach will go with it.LOCALLY WORLD FAMOUS FOREVER!IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__

2023-08-05 05:34:21Wholesome good value food from a 50yo restaurant in the best coastal hub of Los Angeles. Reminded a couple of Australians just how close American beachside hospitality is to our own 🌊 ... On this occasion our tasty Kettle dinner was complemented by some very attentive and upbeat service from Yoselin 👍
