The House combo lo mein, salt/pepper pork & Honey walnut shrimps are tasty, but the shrimps couldve more for the price. The interior of the restaurant has good vibes.

Best Asian cuisine in the A.V.! Makes all other places look like a joke. Forget panda wok, great wall, and dragon garden. They also give big portions that feed at least 3 people. I tried their orange chicken, beef and broccoli, and crab rangoons as well. All were fantastic. Definitely worth the drive for someone who lives a bit out of the way as well!

Honestly, I am disappointed with todays lunch service. We came in and ordered around $75 for our table. We came in enthusiastic and happy... but sadly, it declined.Orange chicken was goodSweet and sour soup, good as well.Walnut shrimp was not good. I tried a walnut, and it was burnt, and it wasnt a fluke. I ate a 2nd, and it was clear with the bitter taste that it was burnt.Pot stickers were also too browned on one side.Service: horrible. The young lady in the green hoodie was so ignorant of the restaurants food and menu items. Wasnt attentive and misquoted prices on things. One example- asked for crispy noodles for soup, was told it was $1. Got the bill, and it was $3.After eating the walnut, I asked the server if they could please remake the walnuts and said the shrimp is fine, just the walnuts. The reply was shocking. She said no, its the way it is... I asked for clarification, and she it comes that way. I asked if the chef cooked it, and she said no. I said I didnt understand. Does it come in a bag this way? She said it is what it is and just smiled, then walked off.I think, honestly, low quality of service today. Food quality issues, and I just dont have the confidence to brag or show off this place again. Unfortunately, I would say to people visiting and thinking of Kirin Hut, if you get a vibe, trust it. If the menu at the table is inconsistent and everyone is missing pages here and there. Maybe thats a sign toward consistency with the restaurants quality control. Its not worth coming back. You can find better elsewhere.

I was looking for authentic asian food, especially Mapo Tofu (which is on the secret menu on last page) I was not disappointed, the tofu was silken, the vegtables were fresh and the sauce was very savoury.The food was very affordably priced and tasted excellent with generous portions. The floors tables and whole resteraunt was very clean and well decorated. The staff member i had was so cheerful welcoming us at the door and allowing us to pick ourb own seating and so respectful she made it the most welcoming place ever. After we left she even popped outside to thank us for the tip and give us a box of delicious mochi!I also noticed in retrospect the majority or customers were all asian which is always a good sign the food is legit. There were whole families there seated at double tables and it just felt like everyone saw it as a homely place.on a side not i am transgender and was never looked at weird or misgendered by anyone. i also noticed the majority or customers were all asian which is always a good sign the food is authentic quality.

Best Chinese place in the AV. We have a lot of good Thai places, but not many full menu Chinese places that are good.Im so glad The Kirin Hut is open again. I highly recommend their curry Singapore noodles empress chicken and lemon chicken.

Nice sit down Chinese Restaurant, and also great for carryout. Had a meeting here a few months back, and our party of 10 was served quickly. Food was delicious and fresh. Great taste and amazing service. We had the orange chicken and fried rice to go for the wife and I. It was very filling and large portions. Definitely coming back to try out more of their menu. Came back again today, had the Mongolian Beef and it was well balanced with beef and fresh veggies! So good!

This place is a hidden gem. I was expecting it to be like your average fast food dinning. I was pleased to see the inside so beautiful and clean. The service is excellent. The food was so good… I highly recommend the Tofu eggplant in garlic sauce, the best U ever had.

My son picked me up to check out another restaurant in Lancaster i said here we go again another horrible place place to eat. To my amazement this place was great the food was great, service great, and the atmosphere was exactly what i like. This was honestly the worst food Ive had in a long time. The smell and taste were very rancid and now I have a house full of sick people. Not to mention it was expensive and mostly all got thrown away. I wouldnt eat here again if I were offered the food for free.

The place is small, cute and quite. Food is great for the most part. However last visit my son order honey chicken and it wasnt great the chicken was stuck to the plate and hard. Honey was too hard maybe over cooked. We didnt eat it. When they came to ask if everything was OK and if we wanted boxes to go. I let her know we didnt like the chicken and it was hard and couldnt even chew it. Her response oooh ok Ill let the cook know She could have handled that differently. She could have offered to re make it or a discount or take it off my bill since the plate was still full of chicken.But other then that it a good place. I SUGGEST DONT ORDER THE HONEY CHICKEN.

Placed an order to go so this review is strictly on the food. I ordered BBQ pork lo mein, orange chicken, and curry chicken. The lo mein was probably the best lo mein Ive had in a while. The orange chicken was very delicious. The curry chicken was good, but the veggie to meat ratio was off. It seemed like it was curry veggies with chicken on the side.I really enjoyed the food, so Ill definitely recommend this place and I would definitely go back; maybe just not order the curry chicken.

Really good food! Really good people! Excellent service! Vegetable fried rice that had mushrooms and zucchini in it too. Really flavorful! Their noodles were delicious. They know how to do it up! Great place for a vegetarian too, many options. They were super fast and friendly. Really good price. You get a good amount of food on take out too. Will definitely be returning here. Yummy stuff!

Was hesitant based on some of the reviews, but glad we tried it. Our food was amazing. My husband said best Mongolian beef hes had in a long time and the atmosphere was really cool. I had the house special Singapore curry noodles, just enough spice and great flavor. Our portions were big, good was still hit when my husband came home with it and he said service was great. Would definitely order again. Thank you!

Food was good, not exceptional. Brown rice could have been better. It was a bit gummy and not made fresh. Taking off half a star for that. The other half star was for overall value. The chow mein was the star of the show and I really enjoyed the Mongolian beef. Went for a late lunch/early dinner. The place is plenty big with a nice modern esthetic. Service was prompt and friendly.Ordered the Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken with white and brown rice. Both dishes use the same sweet sauce base. I was disappointed with the Sesame Chicken only because I had expected a more savory sauce. Orange chicken is good, sweet with a little spice. Both had nice crispy chicken.I will be back to try out some other items on their menu. They have an extensive tea menu that Im excited to try.

This used to be our go-to spot! Everything was delicious, then they closed for a bit, and now I assume they are under new management, and certainly with a different chef.Their menu online is the same, but evidently their new chef has decided to completely change key ingredients. I wanted Black Pepper Chicken, and they gave me something completely different, TWICE. I had started to feel bad like it was my fault for misunderstanding the menu, but nope! The current photo of the dish online is exactly like I remember. But what they gave me tonight had a totally different flavor profile, and it was most unpleasant to me.I left with lo mein, and the fundamentals of their dishes (sauce, etc.) Are sadly totally different in a bad way as well.I am saddened we have lost such a great take out spot.

This restaurant has been closed for months now. Today i saw people coming out of the store so I called to place a pick-up order. Placed the normal order of 2 lunch specials which came to the same total about $24. Picked the food up in new colored red to go plates and was shocked to see that the portion sizing has been cut in half. In addition there was very little chicken in either plate. The old lunch portions were filling these portions are not.

Its been ages since I had some real good Chinese food and I can say this place has it going. I tried their octopus balls and they were on point! Fresh hot but hey, you know they just got them off the cooker. My main entree was the general tso chicken. Exactly as I remembered when I was a teenager, took me back to a happy place. Overrated! Ordered orange chicken, extremely sweet, too much (thick) sauce. Tried this place a couple years ago, wasnt impressed then, but thought Id give another try, unfortunately their cooks just cant get recipe correct. 😕 $9.80 for LUNCH SPECIAL. Not a good value for the portions and for the flavor, also chili peppers were still hard/uncooked in sauce. Customer service was slow (take out) stood at front counter and was ignored for about 5 minutes, then was told to wait a little longer.

Take-out is fantastic, wouldnt eat-in again. Food is usually great, but the service was horrible this time. On top of very slow service, our entrees came at different times. When my food finally came (when everyone else was almost done), it was ice cold. I had to send it back. They were very kind and apologetic, but ultimately we were there for 2 hours and the food was fine. Drinks are overpriced. Still my favorite for chinese take-out in the AV.

Horrible service! Need someone better on the phone. I ordered online my card was charged and I showed proof at pick up. When my husband got there after driving 20 minutes they said they didn’t have an order. We showed proof and said they weren’t going to make anything and I had to call my bank. I called my bank and I have to wait 48 hrs to file a claim because they did charge my card. I’m left with no food, wasted time and money.

I call and tell them about it, the lady on the phone says that my next order will have a free shrimp fried rice. Cool. If youre looking to try great traditional Chinese dishes Kirin Hut is one of the rare places to go in the Antelope Valley. Just ask for the secret menu. Flavor on the traditional dishes are complex and fantastic, a must try, especially if youre into spicy food.

I discovered this restaurant through DoorDash. The food is really good. My favorites are the Empress chicken, General Tsos chicken, steamed dumplings, veggie Singapore noodles and milk tea with Boba. Order from them almost every weekend. Door Dash delivery is quick and with DoorDash Pass, I dont have to pay delivery charge. I have never been to the restaurant, so I cant comment on service in the restaurant. My favorite of the Chinese restaurants I have ordered from through DoorDash.

I looked on line at the Chefs Special Pork Ribs for $7.80 and when I got there they said it was $8.25. I know .45 isnt much but the law says they have to sell it for the advertised price. They wont. There are plenty of Asian food places around that follow the law. I think I will go to those places from here on.

The clean dine in area is what I like most about this restaurant but youll get ignored by the waitresses and literally have to wait ALMOST an HOUR! for some one to take your DRINK order. they need a new staff for sure.
