A resort - had the Pure Insurance Tournament going on so was slightly less accessible than normal. The visitor centre is excellent and worth a visit.
It’s a five star resort for a reason. I stayed in the main building with my room facing the 18th green. Spectacular view and comfy. The service could be improved.
The staff and accommodations were incredible. The room was spacious, comfortable and with views of the water as well as the first tee at the course. Spending some time in the evening on the balcony of the room was very relaxing. I would not hesitate to stay at the Lodge for my next Pebble Beach trip.

BEWARE! I am so disappointed—a bucket list of a course, that definitely lived up to its hype, but has put me through the ringer now with incorrect charges.My wife got me the combo Pebble, Spyglass, Spanish golf package, in which she prepaid. Upon arrival of each course, they mentioned it would be charged again to my room, and credited.Upon leaving, I went to the front desk to ensure this would happen, and they said it would take a few days to process. I swiped my card for my $3,800 balance, and called it a day.6 weeks later, and several calls to their “accounting department,” and nobody has called my wife or I back yet. Additionally there is another $3,000 charged to my card, and $4,000 charged to my card. My wife’s card was all charged almost $3,000 for the golf package she purchased with Michael from concierge, who has gone MIA. Oh, I went with a buddy and he was chargers over $4800 as well. About $18,000 in charged for 3 nights, and 3 rounds of golf doesn’t seem quite right, and the fact they will not respond to me is alarming. I’m very close to having my counsel deal with this, as this is blatant negligence on their end to help resolve this.I hope nobody else has their experience ruined by this resort, it’s truly a shame.
Stopped here and got some snacks and drinks, now don’t get me wrong it is pricey, spent $112 for 3 drinks and 2 appetizers but the view is beautiful and the food was worth it

The course is excellent, the rooms are very nice as is the property. I stayed three nights at this place and they charged my card over $6000, brought me an open, not full bottle for $173 bottle service, and then changed my $5 extra tip to $59. Again course is a dream, definite bucket list, just stay somewhere else.

This iconic place says it all. Great service, food and has 3 Great restaurants, Tap Room on front side of the Lodge and Stillwater and the Bench that overlook the 18th green of Pebble Beach Golf Links.
Pebble beach is a legendary course with some of the most beautiful views a golfer, or spectator, can experience. Because of this, any room accommodations must match the same feel and awe of the course to have a truly wonderful experience. I’m happy to say, that the Lodge at Pebble Beach met each and every one of my expectations that I had for it. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was some of the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever encountered in any of my stays anywhere. The customer service was top notch as each one of my accommodations were met, and they went above and beyond what I expected. I think that a stay at the Lodge and a round at Pebble is truly one of those things you must experience.
The Golf was great. Caddies were terrific and we enjoyed our dining at the Hay. Other than that the trip was a real disappointment. Our room smelled musty and at $1,000 a night that is unacceptable. We stayed at Spanish Bay 4 years ago and the trip then was a 5 out of 5. But there is just something wrong with spending $1,000 a night for a hotel room and having it stink. It is a wonderful destination but this experience has left me wondering when I will want to come back next given they require you to stay at the resort to golf Pebble Beach. They called us after we reported the room stunk but never returned my message back when I returned the call that also doesn’t sit well with me. Again if they weren’t charging such an exorbitant rate for the room I would be more positive but these are extremely high rates for even a 5 star hotel.

Grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Valet parking available. The rooms are clean and smartly decorated although the size is quite small. The bar makes the best old fashioned Ive ever had. Overall experience was pleasant.
I sat down in the wonderful sun and realized I had no sun screen, I thought that I should run across the street to get some but I took a chance and asked the waiter. He was happy to bring me out a large bottle of sun screen and then brought delicious food and drinks. It was awesome.
We went the Taproom for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and all the employees were very friendly. Afterward we stopped at the Bench for drinks and dessert. At night that have seats with fire pits that overlook the 18th hole. It was a very nice night and everything was wonderful.

Great place to stop while doing the 17 Mile Drive. Several restaurants & shops, including a post office. The market made us an amazing sandwich which Im definitely going back for! They have a picnic area in the back as well which is a great place to enjoy lunch.
My wife and I just returned home from a 3 night stay at The Lodge. Our stay at The Lodge could not have been any better. The golf was amazing, the spa was amazing and the staff was amazing! Its everything I would expect from a first class resort. We are looking forward to another return trip.

The Ultimate Experience for those who love golf. Utopia for golfers. We stayed at the lodge for two nights -- the room was spacious and very well appointed, with two dressing areas, a large bathroom, and a view overlooking the golf course. Since we wanted the complete PB experience we dined at the restaurants, visited the shops and played Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us -- pricey and so very upscale.

We stopped on the 17mile drive for a quick peek and a drink. It was a beautiful view. Recommend for a quick stop!
This is very much a golf resort and does not cater to anyone who isn’t golfing. We had an upgraded room on the waterfront side, where all we could hear was banging from construction. We asked to go on a hike and were handed a map for a 15 min walk along roads without sidewalks (instead of being golf carted) to get to a horse park where the grounds are covered in horse dung and so are the trails. If you’re into scenery and hiking, would highly recommend staying in Big Sur or Point Lobos. The manager deserves one star. Second star just to be kind. Would never come back here.
Love the Food in all 3 restaurants. Very good ingredients, very fresh! The Chili and cornbread at the Tap Room is one of our faves! I Love the shopping, the ambiance and the view!
We just visited here was looking around thought about staying we are professional Tik Tokers and not to mention a published author and professional photographer and we decided to run our RC crawler out with us for the walk for our fans and friends and played some music and was checking it out and here to do the scenic drive and look at properties we were disrespected badly by a man named Craig and he was rude and kept following us with his walkie talkie and acting like we committed a crime and we was being humiliated in front of people that were just walking by and people walk their dogs and everything else I can’t walk my RC car wasn’t disturbing anyone people were waving saying hi and loved the RC crawler. Will be talking to a lawyer about how we were discriminated against and treated very rudely and unkind
Absolutely stunning view of Carmel and the beach from this lcoation, and, its all public! Thats right, pay to get onto the 17 mile drive, park your rental corolla between a Bentley and Rolls Royce at the visitors center lot, and stroll into any of the lodges 3 restaurants like you own the place.This was recommended to me be an employee at an art gallery in Carmel. I asked where I could walk to eat lunch and see the water, she suggested driving out here instead and she was right on. No touristy stuff like in the village, and I think I paid less for my meal here than at a village café. Also, theyll knock what you paid to get into the 17 mile drive off of your tab if you spend over $35. There may be some dress code limitations (shoes only for guys?) but at the bench which is the outside terrace area, a button down shirt and shorts were no problem. They actually referred to themselves as resort casual - music to my ears. Treat yourself and come here for lunch or dinner if youre in Carmel. Totally worth it.
Nice and clean rooms. The rooms have a lot of little amenities that take it up a notch... And you get to play Pebble so well worth it in my mind!
Not golfers, but just stopped by The Tap Room for lunch while doing The 17 Mile Drive. Beautiful surroundings, incredible service, fantastic food and had a delicious meal, including Snickers/Oreo Mudpie for dessert, and leftovers packed for our late night snack, for under $100! (We didnt order steak or lobster!) Plus, they took the $10 gate fee from the drive off the meal. A few fun shops to poke through and views to die for. So all you non golfers, dont pass this up, just have your cameras ready.
Stayed at the Lodge and golfed Pebble Beach Thanksgiving weekend. A dream come true. The room was incredible, along with the views, the friendly staff and magnificent 18 holes of golf. Im already planning a return trip.
Five star everything on the most famous golf course in the world. Host to the US Open. Once owned by inventor Samuel Morse. Current owner is Clint Eastwood. You might see him there playing the annual Pro-am. If you play golf this should be at the top of your bucket list no matter where you live in the world. Truly a national treasure!

Consulting work took me to this gem Of Northern California. Home of marine sanctuary. I have been to about 13 country clubs in Florida and New York and this place is topped it all. When it comes to food, you will be surprised how affordable the items on the menu and the quality is excellent . Well of course... when you are serving the world class golfers and the rich, they can’t afford to make a mistake. There is not one dish I could think of that wasn’t well prepared-either for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Just know that dress code is imposed here. When you come for happy hour and you sit outside the patio, you will notice that guests speakSoftly to each other and enjoy the stillWater of Carmel. If you’re lucky, you may see whale from a distance while sipping a glass of wine. Sunset is my most favorite time ay the lodge. The staff alone deserves a 5 star rating. I come to the Lodge at Pebble Beach often for work and I am blown away everytime. The grounds are always perfect and the staff is always professional and go out if their way to make everyones experience at Pebble Beach top notch. I look forward to all my trips to the Lodge.

What can you say. is it worth the money -- no! does every real golfer need to play it a least once -- yes. (i personally liked spyglass a lot better.)
DO NOT go to this hotel!!! it is DANGEROUS to your health.... My girlfriend and I stayed in this hotel for two nights and we noticed the water in the bathroom was totally green. It was similar to the water from the ocean. First we thought it is because of the lighting in the bathroom that makes the water looks green but when their technician checked it he also confirmed there is something wrong with their water system. We now both have some abnormal skin lesion, which we believe is because of that green water. We paid more than $2500 for two nights to stay in one of their best ocean view rooms and we had a terrible experience there that I never had even in a two star hotel. Do not ever waste your money to stay at this hotel.
Although my husband has golfed Pebble Beach before this was our first experience staying at The Lodge for a three day weekend. I was disappointed in the overall quality of service. We had reserved 2 king rooms and upon arrival only received one king room. The resort informed us on arrival bed size was based on availability, however, this detail was not communicated at any point during the reservation process. The most frustrating encounter, however, was directly related to the golf. Throughout the weekend we had reserved tee times at Spanish Bay, Spyglass, and Pebble (six months in advance). All golf reservations were made directly through the resort. At the time of the reservation, caddy service was also prearranged for each course. Upon arrival at the first tee time we were informed they were out of caddies for the day and they would not be able to accommodate caddy service even though it was on the original reservation. In an effort to reconcile, the reservations manager offered complimentary caddy service for the next day at Spyglass. When we arrived the following day to play Spyglass with the expectation the caddy service had been confirmed due to the issues the day prior we were again disappointed that they only had one double bag caddy reserved when the original reservation had single bad caddies for each golfer. Because the reservation was comped they changed the original request from 2 single bag caddies to double bag caddies. The whole reason we came on this trip was for the boys to golf and enjoy their time playing these courses with individual caddy service. From an aggravation standpoint alone of having to golf the first day without a caddy for yardage, the countless phone calls to reservations, the pro shop, and speaking to several managers (Anthony, Rich, and Chelsea) its wasnt worth it. I reconfirmed the details of our reservations to include caddy service three times prior to arriving atThe Lodge - every day it was a battle to get caddies even though they were arranged well in advance. It was also promised by reservations management (Anthony) that Rich the caddie manager would meet the boys before they teed off the second day to ensure everything ran smoothly. He, however, did not show up until I left the spa to go to the Pebble Pro Shop and speak to another manager to try to rectify the Spyglass issue and confirm caddies for the next day. At that point, Rich was sent to Spyglass to assist in allocating caddies to the reservation. I also found out upon my arrival at the Pebble Pro shop that caddies were not arranged for the next days tee time at Pebble. The Pro shop blamed reservations and reservations blamed the pro shop. Anthony the reservations manager said all three days were confirmed with caddy service per the reservation and the caddie office had dropped the ball and there was no excuse. The Pebble Pro shop advised that caddy service be arranged through the caddy office and not the reservations office which was a complete excuse. I hope all guests dont experience this total disorganization and miscommunication that seems to occur on a daily basis as evident by failure to supply caddies on the second day after they were confirmed after the first reservation error. The resort took absolutely no accountability for the error. In addition, we are a young couple and felt like this issue / error happened impart due to age discrimination. The sheer fact the issue wasnt rectified on the first day and continued to reoccur on the second day after several managers were involved is beyond belief from a resort of this caliber.
Even though you have to take a second morgatge out to afford this course every golfer has to play it at least once in their life. it is beautiful but difficult specially with my slice.

WE WERE JUST WALKING AND IS IT BECAUSE I AM ASIAN AND WANTED TO BUY A PROPERTY BUT NOW, I WILL NEVER THINKING ABOUT BUYING A HOUSE AT THIS LOCATIONS. AND THAT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE. NOT ONLY IT WAS UPSETTING AND RUDE TO US WHILE WE ARE JUST ENJOYING A WALK AND FILMING A TIK TOK.

The greens are all cut by hand. The fairways and greens are spectacular. Views are from room 149 overlooking the 18th green.

2023-11-27 01:20:27Went in for a drink at the lodge and it was somewhat disappointing. Ordered a glass of wine and steam clams. The clams were covered in sausage and onions. The clams were rubbery and I sent it back. On top of it the bartender was rude!

2023-08-20 18:26:44We had the honor of planning & coordinating a wedding for our client here! My review is specifically a shout out to the wedding planning team at The Lodge @ Pebble Beach. From the beginning as we communicated with the on-site wedding team I knew we were dealing with pros! From the floral design team, catering staff, mixologist, setup & breakdown team we experienced first class service. The 18th green is a one of a kind backdrop for a wedding! 2023-07-27 03:23:13Great food at still water restaurant, unbeatable views. You can make lunch or dinner reservations even if you are not staying at the lodge. Parking is free in the visitors lot. The golf shop is open until 7.

2023-07-02 01:20:06Classic and beautiful, you wont regret staying on property here. Ive been many times and will continue to come back for years, the staff is amazing, service and friendliness are out of this world. If youre able to I would stay here, highly recommended!

2023-06-22 17:28:33Dont eat mussels and make sure your fries are not cold. We dont like to complain, but we mentioned to the waitress that the first mussel my wife tasted didnt taste good and stunk. At $28 per small serving, one would expect her to suggest a remedy like another order of mussels or another type of dish, none of which happened. And the fries had to be sent back, it was cold.
