That chicken lemon grass joint was delish. Bread was crunchy outside and fluffy on the inside. Veggies were fresh también, and I added a fried egg to put it over the top. Such a cute vibe and friendly staff, definitely coming back.

I was so excited to find a local Vietnamese sandwich place I usually have to travel outside the city to get one of these sandwiches. I have to say the sandwiches are amazing and the pork egg rolls are to die for and the sandwiches come with shrimp chips that are dangerously addictive they have a lot of options. If you know you know. The Service was very friendly. Definitely going to put this on my local list permanently.

One of the best sandwich places in the area. The bread is so fresh, the lemongrass BBQ chicken is absolutely delicious, you can add egg and avocado. Loved the rose tea with milk. Cant wait to go back and try other things. The owner is super polite and courteous. The only bad thing is that I decided to share the sandwich, next time I know I can eat the whole thing 😅

In a city plagued by tacos and bad fast food, it’s refreshing to have a little food diversity. Asian food in Huntington Park is mediocre at best. So yes please all u dope Asian spots in the 626 come over :(). The food itself is excellent with tasty sides to compliment. the restaurant itself is a modern with good aesthetics. I’m glad Hoang set up shop here in a city that needs authentic, hip and good restaurants like this. I’ll be a regular for sure.

It’s a small business I was introduced by one of my coworkers and Lord has she given me a good recommendation! I love love their coffee and don’t get me stared with their teas! Let me just say the ingredients are definitely taste and look fresh. Other than that this is nothing more than a torta (Mexican sandwich). I got the chicken lemongrass and pork sandwich. Both of the meats have a good taste but are a little dry. I would have really enjoyed a sauce with this this sandwich. A good place for a quick bite, but idk if I would return since the price is a little high for a simple sandwich.

Honestly, this is some of the best Banh Mi I’ve ever had in LA and likely ever. Bread is served warmed and is so soft and tasty, the Bulgogi or the Lemongrass beef are my fav fillings. Thanks for the awesome food!

First time visiting since I live near by. Its nice to have something new besides the usual fast food around our neighborhood. I had no idea this place existed and am happy to have found them. The sandwich I had was delicious. Im giving 4 stars since they did not have some items on the menu. But besides this definitely support this business. We need more diverse food in our neighborhood?

Place used to be good for years until they stopped pickling their veggies and they stopped using liver pate on their sandwiches. Instead theyre putting mayonnaise now. This is not a traditional banh mi anymore. It was very disappointing. The sandwich was bland and no quality control now.

For many years I thought that Capriotti had the best Philly Cheese steak sandwiches, but this one is quickly becoming my favorite one. The mustard they use has a great flavor, I dont even like mustard really, and they add a ton of meat with jalapenos, everything is fresh. The combo with the Vietnamese Ice coffee is perfect in between work and school.

I just had a delicious pork sandwich at this place! We went in there while driving around the area. To my taste, a lot better than other places like Che Cali and Lees. The bread was just right and the pork was not dry, very tasty actually. Prices are also very good. Under $5 for a good size. The shrimp chips were also good and I loved the simple but genuine decoration.

This is my second time here and I will definitely keep coming back. The sandwiches and shrimp chips are amazing. I’ve been getting the lemongrass beef Banh mi and it’s so tasty. The French bread is fresh and good quality. I also ordered a Thai tea which I love because it’s not too sweet like other Thai teas that I’ve gotten before. I ordered on Grubhub which is pretty convenient and fast. The customer service is always amazing, we are greeted right when we come in. I also received extra shrimp chips in my to go order, that was a nice surprise :)I really recommend this place, especially in an area where you don’t see that many Asian restaurants. It’s refreshing to see something new that is of good quality.

Some of the best food in the Maywood/Huntington Park/ East Los/Vernon area. Prices are fair, not the cheapest, but not expensive either (perfectly balanced). 100% great quality food and beverage. I recommend you get EVERY BANH MI sandwich you buy there with the fried egg. It’s amazing! Staff is friendly and accommodating in all respects. Get in after 1:00pm to beat the rush but get in before 11 to get the early day specials. Place is absolutely amazing. It’s about a 10 minute drive from the Vernon industrial area. The lead Attendant there or Owner Hong is the best. Ive gone there twice and havent seen him. I pray you are well Hong. I recommend this place to everybody. Fast fresh good service and food. This place is bomb. I had their lemongrass bbq beef bahn mi sandwich and it was so flavorful with the mayo/jalapeño flavor combo. The French bread used was also perfect. Super fluffy and soft on the inside but softly crispy on the outside.Their eggrolls are also really good!Everything is well priced as well and the service is really friendly/accommodating.I’m definitely coming back here whenever I’m in the area!

Tucked away in a mini strip of businesses this spot is a solid find. As a fan of every type of sandwich under the sun, the Bahn Mi combines great flavors and meats cooked to perfection. This place does the sandwich justice providing good quality and goes beyond my expectations. While its a small spot its nice and cozy if there arent too many people.They have a Hot Chicken style Bahn Mi on Fridays, which is probably when Ill be coming back. Casual atmosphere, bring a date, your mom, yourself and some hunger youll definitely want to order a second sandwich as I will now.

Food was delicious! The slow roasted pork (6hrs) was tender and really juicy. My problem was that I was a victim of their success. They were out of a couple items and I voiced my disappointment. The good news is that they dont rehash yesterdays leftovers. I was craving something different from my usual lunch spots and found this place online. It had great reviews, so I figured it was worth a little bit of a drive to check it out.I was not disappointed. Got the pork bahn mi and the Vietnamese iced coffee. The bahn mi was perfect: great bread, perfect ratio of ingredients, everything tasted really fresh and delicious. The coffee was a little stronger than I like, but I just added a bit of water from the free water station and it ended up delicious. The staff are super friendly and attentive and I hope people will give this place a try. It was pretty slow at lunch and I dont want them to close for lack of business before I can get back.

A solid bahn mi place in Huntington Park! The sandwiches are definitely authentic vietnamese sandwiches with a very fresh and light taste. A couple of options have modified for the large Latino community, like the carnitas sandwich (which is super good!), but everything is so good. Their soda chan (or limeade) is great and the Vietnamese coffee is delicious! This is now a regular spot :)Also, the owner is very nice and has good taste in cars

Not a great experience for me. The girl gave me the impression I was bothering her for walking in and ordering. I ordered an egg sandwich for my son and asked her for no pickled veggies. Just egg, mayo and soy sauce. She said they dont put soy sauce and was annoyed I asked for it. I pointed at the sign showing the sandwich ingredients comes with soy sauce. She rolls her gets and says it doesnt come with soy sauce. Then she says she can give me soy sauce on the side. Ugh... We went around in circles talking about soy sauce.After purchasing the sandwiches ($7.50 a sandwich super pricey) they tasted flavorless but the bread was soft. Very little meat and egg. Im giving 5 stars out of encouragement (and it wasnt a horrible experience), but it realistically would get 3.5. There was too much carrot and daikon in the banh mi (not to mention that they werent pickled/brined long enough... or is it their style? Idk.) The Vietnamese Pork Sausage banh mi pretty much turned into a carrot sandwich. Ill probably come again to try their lemongrass BBQ, but if it turns into another carrot sandwich, Im going to be disappointed.
