The Naked Fish in South Lake Tahoe

If I Could give them more than 5, I would! It was a 45 minute wait, but the bar around back made the time go fast. The service was on point, even with a packed house. We ordered, and the waitress brought us out something extra that wasn’t on the menu (salmon belly)!we ordered 2 sushi and an appetizer. Portion sizes were healthy.

Amazing vegan dinner.)) we sat at the sushi bar and just got served creations by the sushi chef :)) everything was delicious. The watermelon tuna was incredible.)) sadly I only took a couple of photos as we ate everything very fast 😅

Its a blast watching 4 dedicated chefs banging out rolls at The Naked Fish. These guys take obvious pride in what they do. We had the miso soup with mushrooms, a Philly roll as an appetizer, the Hot & Wild and House specialty rolls and the sizzling seared Albacore Tuna for entrees, and finished with the green tea ice cream. Everything was delicious. Taylor was a delight as our server. Kudos to all.

Food was good, but service not really. The waitress didn’t hear us that we ordered two portions for two people table and brought only one. So our waiting in total was around 50 minutes.

The servers are always nice and willing to help; food presentation is impeccable, flavors chef kiss you dont want to miss out on this wonderful spot 🌺 our favorite sushi spot in Tahoe

Amazing sushi and ambience is great. My happy place. Mendy is wonderful and I cant wait to go back every few days haha! I got a basic salmon roll w all the side sauces and miso soup and it was BOMB!

Fantastic service and food. Our group had several rolls, udon bowl, couple different appetizers and all of it was great. Service was excellent.

Fantastic food! Great stop. We sat up at the bar, Renée was such a pleasant bartender and I went with her recommendation to get the Maui roll - it was a stellar choice and I appreciated it!We will definitely go back if we make it to Lake Tahoe again in summer weather! Thanks!:)

Always solid with the fish selection and quality. Staff is friendly. However service can be somewhat slow in a busy night. Kitchen items and sushi never come out together, order with this in mind and be patient. It’s definitely worth the visit if your craving some sushi.

Definitely a five star Japanese restaurant! We were sitting in front of the chef Cesar. We ordered Omakase and the food was presented to us course by course. Presentation was brilliant. Fish was so fresh. Chef was so fun to talk to. He painted lots of paintings on the wall. An culinary artist. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Sushi. Will come back to Lake Tahoe for this restaurant.
