I was in the area and wanted the fresh sashimi. This place over exceeded my expectations.
Food is decent. Service is hit/miss. Good portions. Restaurant is clean. The drinks are ok. Price is reasonable for the area. For beef noodle soup, I would rather go across the street.
This is no longer the same Old Boys that I know that served yummy dumplings and such, ITS A SUSHI PLACE NOW! While I have yet to try the sushi I’m sad to see they’ve changed but will give a good rating till I try the new menu.
The place is fairly good. The food is good but a bit expensive. It takes a long time for the food to come out. When the food does come out its one at a time. Ive finished most of one dish before the next one comes out. The service is also really bad. They never come around to check on you. You also have to specifically ask for things like sauce or else they wont give it to you. Things that come standard at other places arent here. All in all I probably wouldnt come back even though the food is pretty good which is a shame.
This is so bad.... I cant believe I just pay 7 dollars for a pork chop for this kind of quality. Its not crispy at all. Waste of money. I ordered to go. Might be little better if I could eat there right away. But still it tastes nothing... I dont think I will go back again if I have to pay for it.
My popcorn chicken, golden friend tofu, and pork chops are really good. This one(in the picture) is also good but I forgot the name. They really know how to fry their food. Its crispy and nice and the outer fried area is not super thick, its thin and still very crunchy.
It is a nice Taiwanese restaurant in Fullerton. We have tried pork chop rice dish and stew beef noddle. Personally I like the porkchop more. Stew Beef noodle is a bit sweet and spicy.Its drinks are on the sweet side which can satisfy sweet tooth, but they can make it with less sugar if you prefer. Unfortunately they have only one size for drinks. Hopefully they can provide smaller size :)
I ordered for delivery. The delivery itself was fairly quick. The Xiaolong Bao was still hot, full with delicious soup and pork filling. They were rich in flavor. I think I found my go to dumpling place.

Service here is very poor. Allocate extra time if youre going to eat here and be prepared to wait. On the other hand, the food here is pretty solid.

The strawberry mango reminds me of the same blended drink at Cheesecake Factory! So good, sweet and I would go back for the same drink!
Looks like a boba tea shop but they honestly have great food here too.

2022-04-24 23:10:43Rolls are average but spending the wheel when you spend over $50 to win a free dish adds to the fun. The chirashi bowl here is my go to dish. In terms of Quality & quantity for the price, its hard to beat! The sashimi is fresh, ample amount of Uni thats fresh, and each piece is thick and meaty.

2021-12-01 01:14:51Update:It is a Japanese / Sushi spot now. Omakase is $100 per person. It has 8 rounds. The finale is a sashimi platter and Kobe beef. It’s pretty good but I was expecting a little more pizzazz.The soup dumplings are very good. What a great spot in the middle of Fullerton. Highly recommend their boba as well. Will take more pics next time. Got distracted by the delicious food lol

2020-12-09 07:59:28Been here a couple of times. The food is very new to me and I like it. There is usually a wait even for to go drink items but its super tasty. Ive tried some of the snacks like the fried squid balls and the popular popcorn chicken. Their cheese foam is less sweet and more savory than at other places Ive tried it at. Its pretty good. The pineapple slush is good. I really want to try the butter cream thick toast next.

2022-01-08 01:10:13This place is great! I came in for a late lunch, and although I was the only person in the restaurant at the time, the service was fantastic. Both the server and chef were extremely friendly, the fish was fresh and super thick cut in the 2 hand rolls I got. I also got the Alex special roll which was delicious and came out very quickly. I’ll definitely be coming back and might make this my go to sushi spot in Fullerton. I think the best bang for your buck comes with the nigiri and hand rolls with how thick cut the fish was.

2022-07-15 19:34:13So my wife has ordered from here in the past and its pretty good. Today we went in for lunch and it was great. They have a promo deal of buy one get one half off for specialty rolls and if you spend 50 bucks you spin a prize wheel. This brought us in, but the food was great and will make us come back. I am not a sushi guy so the bento was a grip of food and filled me up. The wife got two specialty rolls and won a hand roll. Some gyoza and a beer it was a great start to the weekend. 5 stars will come back and bring others. Give it a shot, its really good!

2018-10-09 22:52:15Great little spot. Perfect for grabbing some coffee or tea and a small bite on the side (popcorn chicken was delicious). Prices are super reasonable considering how fresh all the drinks were. The grapefruit slush is to die for. Love trying new items on the menu.
