2023-06-09 21:41:48We had a great breakfast at the Original Pancake House in Poway, CA. Lots of great breakfast options and the kids love the pancakes and waffles. Diane was an outstanding waitress and she recommended extras to the kids for their pancakes like blueberries and chocolate chips. I had the Greek Island Omelet which was fairly good.

2023-09-25 17:49:13I was in the area looking for breakfast and found this place. There were a ton of menu options, but I settled on the Turkey Chiotle Benedict. It was so good! I also kept the potato pancakes that were great. If I was in the area longer, Id go back again to try other things. Service was great and Id definitely recommend.

2022-12-19 00:24:02It was our first time trying this place and it was awesome. We stopped by for breakfast and ordered chocolate chip pancakes with a side of American fried potatoes. The pancakes were light and flavorful with the quantity being more than enough for 2 people(6 large pancakes in a platter)! Finished it with French vanilla cappuccino which was equally good. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for pancakes!

2021-05-16 19:47:10Very good breakfast/brunch place. A lot of menu options to order from. The Mediterranean Veggie omelette is what I ordered and it was really good. Every bite releases great flavors, sun dried tomates, basil and feta! They keep refilling the coffee. Pancakes and French toast were also good. They have screens between the tables to keep it distanced. Servers were wearing masks which was good!Overall very good Sunday brunch place!

2023-01-09 02:51:27It was alright. when we came in the morning it was super busy but the girl at the front helped us get a seat quickly. our waiter was also very attentive and pleasant. ill talk about each item we got. the strawberry crepes I got were good but they were a bit too eggy to my liking. the strawberries were fresh-tasting but they also looked like they were thrown on the plate. the french toast was okay, nothing special. the eggs benedict was good and the egg was cooked perfectly. the bacon was overly salty and the texture was not crispy but more chewy. the deluxe potatoes that we got tasted a little off and the ingredients didnt blend well with each other. the apple waffles that we ordered thought were going to be caramelized but they were just plain sliced green apples with a bit of cinnamon. the waffles themselves were not buttery at all and the texture was like cardboard 😢 the dutch baby was average. the hot chocolate did not have milk it was just powder and water so it was kind of gross. 50 cents for a refill is a bit pricey too for the amount given. probably will not be coming back to this place

2022-08-23 10:41:56Me and my children are visiting San Diego from the UK and our friends recommended this place for pancakes and the kids wanted to experience a stack of American Pancakes….what can I say….absolutely amazing! A massive choice of pancakes the kids had never heard off. Our server was amazing and was able to answer all our questions and made my kids at ease and we chatted. Massive portion sizes that I couldn’t eat mine, but the kids devoured their! We are excited to go back on Friday to try the waffles before heading off to Denver for our next adventure.

2022-01-14 08:01:25Boy are we stuffed after a delicious breakfast here! The servings are massive and most things on the menu actually come with a side of pancakes. The omelettes were incredible!! So fluffy, flavorful, and absolutely stuffed full. They had gluten free pancakes which honestly tasted like regular pancakes just not as fluffy. They weren’t the best but it’s always a treat to find gluten free pancakes at at a restaurant. The pancakes came with real maple syrup, yum! They had indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was very friendly. Coffee was not good but the mugs were adorable and maybe other coffee drinks would be better.

2022-07-10 14:27:08They earned a 3 because my daughter loved her sausage and my husband enjoyed the pancakes.I do understand this restaurant is a pancake house and my mom taught me to order what their specialty is. Well, I don’t really enjoy pancakes, but my family does. The crab cake egg Benedict should be removed from the menu. It is awful! The flavor was WEIRD, I can’t even put my finger on it. It’s one of my favorite breakfasts, so I’ve had a lot of them. It also gave me a stomach ache. My daughter also did not enjoy the French toast. IF we go back pancakes only!

2023-10-23 04:53:56The vegetable omelette was just plainsoggy. It was very watery and not much better with Ketchup. I left 1/3 of it and the unpleasant taste stayed with me most of the day. The breakfast potatoes were basically a skinless baked potato crumbled and slightly grilled. I left 3/4 of that order. The cashier at checkout was politely apologetic but nothing beyond. We have eaten there before and were very satisfied. This time it definitely was was unpleasant to say the least.
