Great atmosphere and excellent location, right in the heart of Los Gatos downtown. I recommend making a reservation to get a table, this place does get busier so walking are gonna be hard. The food was good but we didn’t get the authentic Italian taste, the flavors were lacking to be honest. We have been to other Italian places recently and we had much more flavorful margherita pizza which wasn’t the case here. The chili garlic bread didn’t really have any chili in it. The pasta sauce was really amazing, loved the taste of it. Overall it’s a good restaurant but I wish the pizza was more flavorful.

Weston is a phenomenal server! Donna, the owner, was sweet enough to seat us (party of 6) without a reservation on Saturday night!? She was lovely and chatted with us a bit and made us feel at home. Now, the food… OMG, everything was great; the truffle pasta, burrata pizza, brussel sprouts, bolognese, artichoke dip YUMMY!! True Italian food made with love!! Highly recommend.

Good food and incredible service. We ordered the melted brie with roasted garlic and their popular truffle cream pasta - both were good. Service was stellar- we really felt taken care of.

This place was all that my friend had said and totally redeemed itself :) Three is a charm!Twice before, we had attempted to eat here, and our reservation was messed up, so we left. Tonight, the owner (so hospitable and kind) saw to make things right. She offered up this table with beautiful mosaic/tile work. Our server Bree (sp?) was attentive with the right set of recommendations but not hovering - perfect! We tried the burrata with homemade jam (yummmmm), artichoke dip, and pear salad. All were great. Appetizers were actually our favorite! For the main course, I had the Baked Mostaccioli, and hubby had pumpkin ravioli. Both were flavorful. The ravioli is kind of on the sweet side.We will become regulars.. if we can get in ;)

I have been here quite a few times and every time I have visited, my visits have been pleasant, their team is nice, very attentive and knowledgeable on their food and beverages. My most favorite thing to order Is the Melted Brie & Roasted Garlic because it’s so good! I have tried most of their pasta dishes and loved them all.I visited this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. We ordered the melted Brie with the roasted garlic and Caesar salad to share and I ordered the Primadonna pasta. And they were all so good!My friends have never been there and they loved everything they had.Let’s just say we will be all returning.

I am happy to have a new options for Italian in the Bay Area. One day we were walking by and the smell call us. We finally had the opportunity to eat here last Saturday and the whole experience was good. The owner made you feel at home. The service team is attentive and they want you to have a good night. Super pet friendly. Tables outside. Pizza was ok so you can find better places near. Pasta was good. Tasty dessert. Good options. i want to come back.

Delicious! We had a very nice dinner last night at The Pasteria in Los Gatos. After the Los Gatos High Football game we tried to get a reservation online, but they we sold out till 9:30. We stopped in anyway and got their last table.Everything on the menu looked great. We read reviews how good the Brie appetizer was, but decided to go with the roasted garlic and fresh bread to save on the calories. It was a great call. The serving of garlic was generous and the bread was soft and warm. Our waiter Westin brought us a little olive oil and balsamic which made a nice combination. Our second course was the house salad. Simple with just romaine lettuce, kidney beans tossed in a light vinaigrette and topped with shaved Parmesan. Very good.Westin then brought out a plate of oven roasted Brussel sprouts. They were tasty tossed in a balsamic reduction and topped with Parmesan, but with thought the dish needed a little more flavor. We added a little more reduction which helped. For our main courses my wife ordered the Tagliatelle & Truffle Cream sauce with Chicken. She said it was incredible. The pasta, made in house was perfect and the truffle was not overpowering.I planned on getting the seafood pasta, but when I saw a plate of the angel hair pasta with meatballs go by, I changed my mind. It was a good choice. The fresh pasta was cooked to perfection. The red sauce has nice flavor with enough zest. The meatballs were awesome. Lots of flavor with just enough spice. We had a couple of glasses of Kathleen Kennedy Small Lot Cabernet with dinner. Very good. It was nice they had some decent wines by the glass. We did not come close to finishing any of our dishes. There was definitely no room for dessert. The service was excellent. Our server Westin was very friendly, knowledgeable and was always there when we needed him.Another restaurant we will return to.On a side note, they added some outdoor seating fireplaces that looked nice. I am sure they fill up fast so a reservation is most likely needed.

Randomly picked this restaurant after watching somewhere and glad ended up here! By far best Italian food i had in bay area. Initially was bit skeptical about having squash pomegranate pizza with fresh sage but they nailed it and wood fire was just perfect touch. Gnocchi and Arancini was nicely done too. Definitely recommend to visit if you are around, also place was quiet crowded so make sure you have reservations.

Had a great anniversary dinner here, the staff did a great job welcoming us. Being a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised with the number of good vegetarian options available. The street this restaurant is on is very lively. Overall, I would totally recommend this restaurant.

Always a good homemade meal! They make their own pasta daily and you can taste how fresh it is. Its a small space very intimate and cozy. Its fairly loud, especially when the wine is flowing. The staff is extremely nice and very attentive. One of my favorite restaurants in Los Gatos.
