Excellent hotel. Only complaint is the WIFI is terrible but provides a great excuse for not doing business LOL which you shouldn’t be doing anyway in a place this relaxing

To call itself a 5-star hotel is a good joke. Compared to the Four Seasons or Hotel Bel-Air, Peninsula is small and a relic of the past. Outwardly, there is nothing beautiful about Peninsula, no landscaped gardens, nor opulent hallways and high ceilings; its layout and architecture is no different than an unimpressive roadside motels. The in-house cuisine is just as bland in selection and presentation. The employees certainly would not make the cut at any other 5-star establishment.
The best 5 star high end luxury hotel in beverly hills and LA. I stayed in this hotel in 2021 and 2022 for over 30 nights in each stay. It truly feels like home. There is no other 5 star hotel chain that can compete with the peninsula. Great spacious rooms. The service is prompt and professional. The staff all of them without exception are very friendly and kind. I stayed in other 5 star hotels in BH in previous years and nothing is even close to the peninsula. Looking forward to my next stay.
Peninsulas service is still in place as always. All aspects are very good. There is also a pillowcase with the guests name embroidered on it.
Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. We spent four nights here last year and it was phenomenal from start to finish. The valet, front desk staff and room service attendants were very kind and attentive, and truly made it a five star experience. The lobby and grounds are absolutely gorgeous and don’t even get me started on room service. Every single thing we ordered was delicious and came up so fast!It’s also in a very walkable area and close to all the fine dining and shopping. I can’t think of anything bad to say about our stay here!
We’re reserved Hi Tea at 11am on Friday, just 11 seatings from 2 to 8 people, hard to make reservation, high end place.
I wrote a one star review yesterday and promised the hotel manager Rebecca that I would revise it after talking with her today...but strangely, I now cannot find the review anywhere (???). So, here is an update: the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the in room dining is very high quality, the amenities are mostly great, the spa is very decent, and the provided car fleet is superior. So, where did it go wrong? The communication. I spoke with a different person almost every single time I requested a service or attention to an issue, resulting in an certain amount of problems and misunderstandings. I had to babysit all our details and they were sometimes lost. When one such misunderstanding about the amenities caused us a problem, and I complained about it, and nothing was done, so decided to check out 3 days early as a result, and I did not feel that there was appropriate follow up or compensation offered. No oversight. Basically, I had requested transportation from the station to the hotel assuming they would send their hotel driver. The limo company they sent was terrible and had terrible communication and much to my surprise was also very expensive (when I thought it was a free amenity). The driver would tailgate and the car was a late model domestic sedan. No attempt to keep us from checking out early was made either when I finally complained to the front desk. In fact, I did not hear from the hotel manager until a few days later, after I posted a negative review. I guess I feel like the hotel lacks warmth and hospitality and organization. It feels... indifferent and detached. A lot like LA. I would go back there for dinner (Belvedere, not Rooftop) or a spa visit, and the bar is full of adorable weirdos.
This is one of my most favourite places to have lunch or dinner. The service is always remarkably consistent and wonderful selections across the board! Their wine list is by far the best and the food is always amazing.
Met friends for drinks and dinner. Amazing! Another gathering for the glamorous and well-heeled. Our margaritas were the best. The food, service and scene were all 5 Star LA. Look forward to our next visit.
Beautiful rooms, excellent service, enjoyed the restaurants and bar, nice vibe, BUT, no iron or ironing board in the rooms? Come on, as a business traveler this is a must. I dont always have an hour in the morning to call downstairs and wait for someone to bring up an iron. This hotel gives everyone a custom embroidered pillow, they should some of that energy into the basics like having an iron in every room.

We have stayed at many 5 star hotels, the peninsula is definitely one of the best. We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday, the hotel gave us a big surprise and my wife is so happy with the arrangements.They just asked my budget then I don’t need to worry about anything. Whey surprised us most is the pillowcases with our initials on it. We can feel they are so friendly and care about every customer.I would definitely recommend the breakfast, there are so many options even dim sum. The afternoon tea is also great.If you have a special occasion, peninsula is your best choice!
Amazing hotel. Lovely rooms that are greatly looked after by dedicated staff in the heart of Beverley Hills that allows a close walking distance to nearby shops, restaurants and bars.
The service is astoundingly good, as can be expected from a Peninsula property. The hotel itself is relatively small and the facilities somewhat limited. The rooms are well appointed but the bathroom fixtures, etc. are showing their age. I do prefer newer more technologically modern facilities.
The hotel is beautiful. I definitely cannot afford to stay here so was lucky that I was visiting family. She let us stay and enjoy all the amenities. It was a wonderful experience. Staff are everywhere and so friendly. Food in the restaurant and room service was absolutely delicious. I could not get enough of the smoked salmon pizza. We really enjoyed ourselves.
If I could rate this place with negative eleven stars I would! I was completely disappointed and am considering placing a lawsuit against this hotel for the violations of the Americans with disabilities act (ADA). My friend that was accompanying me to my lunch reservation, Suffered an Epileptic seizure.Once we got upstairs to the floor of the rooftop garden restaurant, we passed the restroom section and we did see a panel of receptionists and told them we had a reservation at noon at the restaurant. They told us not to worry.We entered the restroom and as I was trying to cool and comfort my friend, a Hispanic average-built, brown hair brown eyed early thirtys woman used the restroom and starts to listen in to our conversation.When I mentioned it to my friend she should take a rinse from her neck down to feel better and look better for pictures she will be taking at our reservations she interjected and told us the showers are meant for hotel guests and spa clients.She also told us we need to leave the restroom because we are taking too long and all these invisible guests will be interrupted by us.When I told her we are dining with you guys she would not have any of it. She called security. Security then had me walk to the reservations desk to clarify and check my reservation. Once my reservation was in, I ensured my friend was well enough to walk over to the table.My friend was even given back the wrong change when she paid, plus she was charged for something she did not want.Terrible service!Wild Horses could drag me to this restaurant or hotel Again!

I went on a date here on the roof too and it was pretty magical. Dinner was amazing and the view was beautiful. The staff were really lovely. The menu was extensive and they have a full bar. Dinner on the roof is right next to the pool which is also really pretty at night. 10/10

Where do I begin? Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The location is great, the service is excellent and the rooms are beautiful and well-appointed. The initials on the pillowcases blew me away and the 24 hour room service is fantastic. I really think they can make you almost anything and have it in your room in minutes! The price tag is hefty but worth it!
Wonderful stay for a getaway with my friend from London who has very high standards! Always impeccable service and amazing food. Enjoyed the spa for massage and facial. Im guilty of being an addict to spas and Peninsula spa is very nice with access to the private cabanas, rooftop pool and full bar and snacks upon request, love it.
Tea in the tea room with the harpest playing is just heaven. The sandwiches, scones, desserts are amazing. You cant go wrong here. Its worth every penny.
For the most part its a very nice property. I didnt appreciate the treatment from one of the valet parking attendants but that was one isolated incident that shouldnt tarnish the entire staff.
Hotel staff are outstanding! Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Rooms are quiet - can’t hear anyone walking down the halls or in the other rooms, which we love. Food on the Terrace and at the Belvedere was very good. Bathroom had only one sink which was disappointing for a king room at the price but not a big deal. Shower water pressure and heat level was on point. Spa is small but truly perfect. Can’t wait to come back!
I love this hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills.. The staff are so incredible and helpful and the rooms are so comfortable and inviting! And the beds are so comfortable.. and I have to mention the delicious food in both their restaurants.. a lovely hotel that is serene and quiet and just beautiful!
We had high tea here for a 70th birthday celebration. We were a challenging group (multiple dietary restrictions - some vegan gluten-free, some vegetarian, some pescatarian) but they handled it beautifully. We did give them advance notice so that it wasn’t a surprise. The food and tea were delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. Staff were friendly, helpful and took excellent care of us. We will definitely be back.
Excellent stay…nice size comfortable room, good fitness center, excellent shower room, food was so so, below expectations. Roof top jacuzzi - heaven. All staff super service oriented. Jim was a gem!
4 stars only for the ambiance of the first floor and the atmosphere in the roof garden. What a beautiful place with inconsistent food! The tuna tartar was delicious while the burger was very meh- no flavor. The Caesar salad was dry. Perhaps I should have ordered the sea bass, but my burger cost as much as sea bass elsewhere, so I expected it to be top notch. The food was disappointing but the service really was excellent. Heaters and blankets on the terrace when it’s chilly are always nice. If beautiful romantic surroundings are what you want, this is your place! If you are a foodie, look elsewhere.
Just had an awful time at the Peninsula. We were so excited for an amazing stay and were just disappointed at every turn.The room was old\dated, in bad need of a renovation. Not at all like the pictures we had seen.We ate two meals at the hotel, both could only be described as a mistake.And to top it off our car was damaged by the valet which the hotel refuses to acknowledge and deal with.We really wanted to like this hotel as we had heard great things and were just so sadly disappointed. :(
Make sure you have a reservation for Afternoon Tea in the Living Room. Personally, go through Open Table, don’t call it in because with my group there was a slight hiccup but it was resolved fairly quickly. The atmosphere is a 10. You can dressed semi-casual but why? “Get dressed in your Sunday’s best.” -Me. The pricing is fair ($150+) given your add-ons. Also, don’t let the small bits fool you. It’s all carbs and sugar so you will get full. I went on an empty tummy and didn’t even touch the sweets (got them to go). Parking is fair if you don’t want to valet. They have a harpist, fireplace, and a great place to go with your close friends or loved one. Or a small celebration for whatever. It’s not a party scene. It’s not for those who eat with a big family to IHOP. You’ll have a great time here. They’re very welcoming 🫶🏾🥰

Probably the fanciest hotel I have ever been. Some Chinese vases along the halls possibly worth more than my net worth. The staff was extremely professional and helpful.
I was welcomed with great service and chocolates in my room. I then enjoyed amenities such as car service and upstairs spa and pool. I especially appreciate the aesthetic of the bar/dining area. Finally, my bedroom was a luxury, I truly felt like I was on vacation. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

I can not say enough about this hotel and staff. From the time you drive up and are greeted by their valet (that by the way escorts you to guest check in) to guest check in and amazing did I say amazing room staff. Everything I could have excepted and so much more. Everyone is kind and very helpful. Guest service were on top of it. I needed gift and they not only gave me ideas but gave me a map with stores that had what I wanted. Excellent suggestions. My room was cleaned twice a day and all I had to do was call and my needs were met. Best sleep Ive had in years. Rooms was beautiful. Large tub and separate large shower I was in heaven.

This was, without a doubt, the absolute best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! The staff was spectacular, rooms were clean and well kept, and the amenities were top notch! When we arrived, our initials were embroidered into the pillowcases, and there was also complimentary luxury transportation anywhere to or from the immediate area. I was lucky enough to score a fantastic deal on this hotel through Hotwire, but I would not hesitate to stay again even at regular price!
The people are all great at this hotel! All of them go up and down to make my stay comfortable. Give a huge credit to your staff. Its been awesome. As always, the service is superior. Bed convenience cant beat. The food in the hotel is lovely. The services in general are excellent!
Booked a table after coming here several years ago.I can only say great food, I had the burger. We waited 10 minutes just for water, service very slow. There have all the serving staff gone in the World.
Just perfect. Never expected Japanese “bidet” in their bathroom! Lol. When I checked into the room, jacuzzi was already heated so I was immediately get into it.The bar was nice too they have great wine selections. Ah I had the best concierge who booked an amazing Chinese restaurant! They also have a limo service to the airport. The best service!

I love it here. The last time I came here was about two years ago. I forgot to give it a review but here I am now. Five stars all the way, all courses were amazing and delicious. The crème brûlée was one of my favorite desserts here. I wish I had taken more photos but this is the only photo I have from this day.
This is one of my favorite hotels in Beverly Hills, hands down! I love both the restaurant on the patio/roof and the more formal dining area. The rooms and hotel have a beautiful classic, romantic feel to them. Lovely!!!
One of my favorite destinations for high tea. The scones and sandwiches are delicious. Truly great service and Im looking forward to returning soon. Its definitely been far too long since my last visit. If you are traveling here or a local, you must stop in at the Penninsula. ❤
This place is really beautiful, from the entrance it is a delight, the rooms offer everything you need, they are big, clean, and mixed of classic style with modern technology, you can control everything from two tablets inside the rooms. The bathrooms are just perfect with marble and drain in the sink area! Ive never seen this in the USA but everywhere else in the world I have and that I a MUST for me, it is real nice and clean, the toiletries are high quality and smell delicious. The atmosphere outside the room is another delight, there is a coffee place with a piano that is just a pleasure for all senses.Also, the hotel offers a commute in the area in a beautiful Rolls Royce, you have to enjoy that! The hotel is great I would come back every time I can :-)

Conceirge, the valets, Steve and Tracy at the Bar, everyone at the Roof restaurant were terrific but a special shout out to Angelee for making a reunion memorable. I will be back.
Had a wonderful Christmas Tea over the holidays. Rather formal atmosphere but the decorations definitely got you in the holiday mood! Service was friendly and mostly attentive. Our server disappeared for quite some time and when they realized it another server took over. Food was beautiful and delicious. Havent been here in many years for tea, but will definitely come back without such a long gap in between!

Great location, great service, great rooms. It was also great to have the shuttle service - if I had noticed it was a Rolls Royce I would have used it more! All the toiletries you need, huge comfy beds and I really appreciated the sleep time drink at turndown. So good for jet lag. Its the attention to detail that matters. Thanks for a great stay.

A friend of mine and I had Brunch on the rooftop terrace last Sunday. Although the location is pretty, I was totally disappointed with the menu choices. This is a pricey establishment. My guest ordered the hamburger and I had Steamed Muscles and two ice teas. The bill with tip was 100 clams. Kinda expensive...even for a pretty location.
The service from beginning to end was excellent! Their attention to detail was amazing. We were celebrating our daughters graduation and they had her initials on her pillowcase and a complimentary plate of chocolate covered strawberries for her. We cant wait to come back!
The Peninsula is a nice hotel that tries hard to meet a 5 star standard but unfortunately comes up short. The room we were first given was worn and not well maintained with stains all over the rug. They moved us to a smaller room that was in a little better shape. The furnishings are not anything special when compared to other luxury hotels. Our second room was fairly noisy and we could hear people speaking next door and the garden at all hours. The service was hit or miss. This was a particularly tough weekend for the hotel as they were catering to a lot of last minute guests due to the Los Angeles fires. However, the level of training from most of the staff just seemed to be lacking. We noticed this especially during the high tea service but also throughout our stay. Our stay was fine but next time we will probably opt to stay elsewhere.
In general, the hotel is nice and comfy. Location is very practical, staff is so very nice.The concierge has very good service and recommendations.My suggestion is the hotel on the inside looks tired and I’d say is in need of a nice remodeling. Also the breakfast and service at the rooftop Restaraunt is a bit mediocre.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff sticks out as particularly exceptional. From the desk, to the bar, to room service to valet, restaurant and pool staff they thought to do, and said things that really made the stay more comfortable. The staff at least are not pretentious at all which makes the whole affair that much more authentically enjoyable Now, of course the property was amazing as well. The lower floor garden patio rooms are wonderful. Its essentially, on par with the best Ritz hotels. Would strongly recommend booking, and in advance ;)
One of the nicest hotels I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Absolutely beautiful. Fantastic restaurant. The hotel and restaurant service is amazing and exceeded our expectations. When a manager personally escorts you to your hotel room, explains all the amenities and provides his personal recommendations — you know you are in an amazing hotel. You don’t even find that level of service at a Four Seasons. Will definitely be my choice every time I return to the area.
We came to LA to celebrate our birthdays. Room was very quaint and nice. Service quite good as well.The hotel lobby is quite small and you’d expect a nice grand patio.Gym is very small and spa needs a rennovation and staff retraining.Pool was quite nice.
This review is for High Tea at the Living Room only. This is our 2nd time back to this hotel for high tea. The first visit was amazing! Food was good and our servers were really attentive. However, this second time around, things werent so great. The servers were not attentive and did not come refill our tea pots when the water was out. The food was OK this time. The finger sandwiches were underwhelming. The desserts were covered in glitter and didnt look that appetizing. The interior was nicely decorated for the holidays which was nice. The pricing was steep was what it is. I think I paid close to $90 for their traditional tea. Im not sure if I would return here again for high tea. Free street parking nearby on Sunday or you can valet.

Was at the Belvedere for a birthday dinner. Ambience and decor were still upscale. Service was exemplary. But I feel the menu was rather limited but still enjoyed what we ordered.
I have never had a more superb experience. My stay isnt even over yet and I cant wait to return! I am am an average middle class woman with middle class pay, and something like this is a special treat for myself. Despite the five star hotel status, and the location, staff have treated me just as they would more wealthier patrons.I took my mother to the Living Room tea and our hosts were attentive, courteous, and went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. We also had massages at the spa. Best massage of my life!No matter who you are, if you have the opportunity to splurge, and you are staying in the LA area, this is the place to go. You wont regret it.
Great service and quite location in Beverly Hills. The meticulously tendered grounds offer tranquility and calm in the center of the city. The Peninsula makes you feel pampered and relaxed. They go great lengths to make your stay a memorable one. The hotel is small but conveniently located closed to many restaurants and shopping. The hotel has several restaurants each is pretty good. They are well known for their high tea. Tea service starts around 12:00. They have tea services that is two hours long each. After 2:00 they have a live harpist and at night piano.There are three tea service options to choose from ‘traditional’, ‘royal’ and ‘imperial’. The tea is served in lobby area with big glass windows overlooking the garden. You can mention your dietary restrictions ahead of time and they accommodate it. The tea service starts with champagne or cider served with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. You select your tea and the sandwiches and sweets are daily specialties. The tea selection is good with black, herbal and scented tea varieties offered.The service is pretty attentive but not overwhelming. It is a great place to celebrate a special occasion though it is pretty pricey.
Staying at this property was perfect. With all the amenities, there is no need to venture out. Over four days, we enjoyed breakfast in our suite, afternoon tea, and dinner on the rooftop. The Belvedere bar was perfect for assorted after-dinner drinks, offering a variety of cognacs. As at any Peninsula property, attention to detail and level of service is impeccable. I am looking forward to returning soon.

The food was excellent and the function room was beautiful, ever detail that you could possible think of was covered. I would highly recommend and will 100% be visiting again.Thanks again!
Ill share what I experienced at the bar, lounge and outside 1st floor patio.Came for a group event with friends. All staff were professional and accommodating. They had a list of Kosher wines. Lobby with bar has nice couches, dim lights and intimate.Outside patio has tables, chairs and couches with fire place and heating stands.All In all great professionalism.
Beyond luxe, wonderful welcoming staff, immaculate room and exceptional service. Everything you would expect of a hotel of this caliber, and more. A real treat for us.
The PBH has become our favorite hotel in the US. My wife and I became engaged during a wonderfully memorable stay in 1999 and we were regular visitors until I became very ill* in 2015.The hotel is the last word in personal luxury, eschewing grand and soaring spaces for intimate, supremely comfortable luxury. It’s very much akin to staying with friends at their villa in France or country house in England.The concierge team can and will see to every need - using the hotel’s signature chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce Ghost for shopping on Rodeo Drive is a particular treat they will arrange.The food is elegant and creative but not heavy in the way “luxurious food” can sometimes be. Meals from room service are another special event, served on your private terrace with no detail overlooked.The rooms are remarkable and we’ve tried all but the most expensive suites. Luxurious but welcoming, not stiff. Privacy is a key feature and we were rarely aware that we were sharing the hotel with other guests. Touches like fresh fruit and flowers as well as pillow cases embroidered with your initials all work in concert to set the accommodations apart.Also, do not miss the spa experience! The full Swedish massage in particular was a life-altering engagement. Lunch next to the pool gives guests a taste of why Southern California is such a sought-after destination.All in all, it a spectacular hotel set very much apart by its world-class staff!*I became ill with stage IV cancer and we were unable to travel to the PBH at Christmas like we’d planned. The concierge sent me chocolates, mugs, Peninsula Christmas tree ornaments and a Peninsula teddy bear dressed in Peninsula Porter livery! UNBELIEVABLE! That’s how you impress even the most jaded guest and achieve long-lasting word of mouth advertising.
Beautiful hotel and generally great staff, but they have room for improvement. I have stayed at several Peninsula properties, and, even with high expectations, each has exceeded my expectations exponentially and consistently. However, the Peninsula Beverly Hills missed the mark. My main concern was the inconsistent service, which was surprising, considering the reputation of the Peninsula.To start, I had communicated my late arrival time about a week in advance to the concierge. When I arrived, the front desk initially refused to check me in due to a miscommunication between the concierge and the front desk. I showed the front desk agent the email thread between myself and the concierge in which I made my check in time clear, as well as a request for dining recommendations. The concierge responded to the email with dining recommendations and did not directly respond to my note about my check in time (which I did not think was necessary). Because of that, the check in agent cockily said, technically, they did not acknowledge your request for check in time, so we cannot honor it. After a lengthy conversation and an approx 30 min wait while he presumably phoned a manager, the agent finally agreed to let me check in. I had been up and traveling for 24 hours, and it was approx 1 am, so this was very inconvenient.In another instance, I phoned the concierge while at the hotel to request the house car for 4 people to be taken for dinner. When I went downstairs, they had a car that could fit three people. I simply informed the driver (Antonio) that the car he had pulled around will not accommodate all of us. Instead of simply pulling a bigger car around, he proceeded to rudely lecture me on how the concierge did not inform him that there would be four people, and that I needed to be more clear on the number of passengers, although I had informed the concierge beforehand. Once he was done and pulled around the car, he was very rude to me and my guests on the drive to the restaurant.On the other hand, I must compliment the driver of the Rolls-Royce house car, Axel. I rode with him many times during my stay and he was extremely professional and polite, with a perfect amount of friendliness and humor. He was absolutely the best part of the stay.
The Peninsula Hotel definitely lives up to its outstanding reputation! I have stayed at many 5 star hotels and its difficult for a hotel to get every angle and nuance top notch and on point. Usually a hotel will fall short somewhere in some capacity. Not with the Peninsula. The level of service is superb, the attention to detail is on point, the ambiance is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous, and the hotel just gets it. I wish other hotels could learn from the Peninsula. The Peninsula is truly a gem. What a great hotel! Thank you!

Had big expectations due to price tag, but was let down. When we made a reservation, I let the person on the line know that we were celebrating a birthday and any acknowledgment (a card, anything) would be great. We arrived to the room and there was nothing. It was a small gesture that im sure my partner expected, and we were all let down. During reservation, they asked for my kids ages, which I provided. I thought they might have arrival gifts (typical of a hotel of this caliber) but no, no arrival gifts. We got to the room and I thought they might have robes for the kids - no again. We got the room through Amex, so a room upgrade is part of the deal. Never got the upgrade. When I called to ask about it, they said they dont have double beds in the upgraded rooms. Seems like something they should have mentioned at check in - I see you booked with Amex. Would you like the upgrade with the King bed or to stay in the standard room with the double beds? Pretty standard stuff that didnt happen. We ordered breakfast through room service. Everything from the kids menu was super low quality. The pancakes were so awful (dry, crumbling) both kids tried a bite and refused to eat them. The waffles were plasticky. The eggs were like the kind you get at the motel 8 continental breakfast. We tried to book a table for lunch by the pool, but they were all booked up and told my husband no, sorry. I came up soon after to ask the same, and they said they are required to accommodate guests that are staying with them so to come back when were ready to eat and theyll try to squeeze us in. Called concierge at 3:30pm to reserve dinner for 6:00pm at Petit Belvedere. They said sorry, were fully committed. We came over to concierge at 6pm to see if maybe a table opened up and they took us right in. At dinner, my daughter asked if they have ice cream toppings, waiter said yes to her request. 20 minutes later the ice cream comes out with no toppings, brought by kitchen staff. 10 minutes later, waiter checks on us and realizes my daughter didnt get any toppings. He seems genuinely upset and runs to the kitchen to resolve. 10 more minutes later, they bring out some different topping (not what my daughter requested) - and of course, shes finished eating her ice cream by then. A simple we dont offer ice cream toppings would have been completely fine, the circus at a high end restaurant, however, is not. No intention to come back.
Was here for High Tea. Professional staff, excellent tea choices, and delicious bites. The atmosphere is inviting. A pianist came in around 6pm. They also accommodated for my friend who requested a gluten free and no added sugar menu. They were quick to refill our tea cups and take away plates and utensils.
Met a friend who was staying at the hotel for lunch on the roof. Perfection. We split the Cobb salad and shared the tuna starter. Both were delicious. The service is crisp, friendly and attentive. In a town full of great hotel properties, The Peninsula is the one to beat.
I spend every NYE and NY at the Peninsula. Always an amazing experience. It is an fusion of contemporary and decco charm. The lobby and bar are throwbacks to the 1920s and filled opulence. The rooms offer simple pleasures and comfort. I live a few miles away but each visit here is like a week long vacation. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. This rivals all the finest hotels in Beverly Hills.

This place is awesome to come out and enjoy some fine restaurants. Every time I happen to work in the area I like to come here for some lunch or dinner. This place is awesome to meet up with some good old friends and enjoy a agreat cup of coffee. You can walk around the peninsula and do a little shopping around. Parking can be tight, but over all... is a greatvplace to visit.
I have two words for this hotel: monogrammed pillowcases. Im not kidding. My wife and I stayed here for a one-night getaway, and by the time we checked into the room there was a pillowcase with my initials on it, and a pillowcase with her initials on it. How is this even possible? Did they literally monogram our specific pillowcases during that time? Do they keep every combination of possible Monograms on hand? It was exceptional. The room rates seem astronomical when you compare them to any other five star hotel, but that comparison would not be fair. A stay at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills for just one night felt like a multi-day escape from the reality a small kids. We loved everything about this place, the food we had at breakfast, the perfect service at the bar, and the perfection of the newly redecorated rooms. This is without question my favorite Hotel in Los Angeles.Nice
My husband and I were in the Veranda Room for a holiday party and we had a blast. The decor was beautiful, the outside area was lighted and warm with heat lamps. The buffet style dinner was delicious, especially their unique Cesar salad and Chinese style Peking duck tortilla wraps.
Great staff but the food is unimaginable and not at all impressive for the price. My favorite was the burger, I need to revisit the fine Belvedere restaurant, once a family favorite many moons back. The atmosphere and lodging is lovely....hope they can update their wine list as well, many things from the list have been sold out but not removed from there extensive list. Overall, a lovely place for a celebration...hope the restaurant, on the roof, by the pool can bring some excitement to the cuisine soon.
Always beautiful, decorated in gorgeous Christmas decorations (in December) and staff great you very well.We had an event here which was lovely, with incredible attention to detail.

Lovely location which is only a 20 minute drive from LAX (in good traffic) with some shopping near by. The service at the hotel could have been better - food orders were typically slow and often incorrect. The servers were not well versed in accommodating food allergies. However, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and the spa in particular was lovely.
I was at the Belvedere for their seafood brunch, which was nothing short of amazing and memorable. Rather than spreading themselves thin with a huge variety of foods where only a few items are of high quality, they focused on offering the best, freshest seafood selections. Oyster, crab claws, scallops, cocktail shrimp, it goes on. The desserts were really tasty too. 10/10 would recommend!

This is my favorite hotel in the area. Staff is very professional and provide the best service. I love how they arrange my family photos in my room before I arrive for each visit. Its like a home away from home. They also provide RR for my dinner arrangements.
Sunday brunch, server was Conrad and he gave excellent service, well worth the price. He folds your cloth napkin when you are away from table. He pulls out the table so that you can seat easily in tight spot. Always comes with a smile. Perfect service.
The Peninsula really knows how to do high tea.Awesome food and tea combined with wonderful service. The lobby lounge is super cute, too.Take your mom here for Mothers Day. Less time consuming than retail therapy, much cheaper than spa treatments, you both get fed, you can take some really classy looking selfies, and shell have plenty to rave about to her friends. Just dont let her wander around the neighborhood or it wont be so cheap anymore.
I have been here several times for the restaurants and the spa. The service is impeccable. Food is outstanding. The terrace on the roof is a perfect combination of casual and elegant. The Belvedere restaurant on the fist level is quiet and elegant.

The Peninsula Hotel was recommended to my husband and I by friends, so when we were looking for a house in the area earlier this summer we decided to make the Peninsula our vacation home for a couple weeks.As you can see from the street the hotel is beautiful and really tries to give off a friendly vibe amongst all the glamour in the area. We were really impressed by the staff at the front desk and in the bar, but we were left disappointed by the quality of food in the restaurant and with room service. After two bad meals we started going out to eat.They did give us pretty good service with our young son and that was a nice plus as some hotels dont seem to want to lift a finger for children.The Peninsula is more expensive than a lot of hotels, but the location cannot be beat. So overall I say it is worth staying in but just not eating in, especially if great room service food options are important to you.

As a wedding planner I was very impressed by the staff at the Peninsula! From the beginning, Dominque with the sales team was amazing to work with. Communication was very thorough. The floor captains and managers were on point with our timeline and helping us with any and all of our needs. Highly to be commended are Ani, Jimmy, and Maria. Their staff was amazing. I highly recommend this venue for future events. You are truly in great hands. Cant wait to do more weddings here!
Nice outdoor restaurant for dinner. Make reservations on the weekends. You can valet or park around the corner at the meters. The hotel spa is good. Havent stayed at the hotel. The lobby bar is a cool place to hang out too.

I have never been so let down in my life. Ive been in far better service than what I have received here. The disrespect I received by room service was by far the worst. Thats no way to treat a guest. To top it off, they screwed up my lunch order, and the food was cold.. Honestly, I was recommended to come stay here through a friend, but now, ugh.. Better yet, I think Ill stick to The Beverly Hilton.
One of the best brunch and everything in between in All of Los Angeles. Food is slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. Most of the ingredients are organic and the service its well worth it.
Swimming pool on the rooftop. Nice gym stocked with bottled water and cold towels. There was a plate of fruits in my room, with a nice welcoming note from the manager. Overall, it was a delightful experience.
Environment is lovely. Service is gracious and well-orchestrated. The food was too rich and not awesome. Warning: the potted salmon is made with creme fraiche - and it is dense and overly creamy - more cream than salmon. The brussel sprouts in the Caesar salad are billed as being crispy but they were closer to rubbery - and cold. Again, lovely place, lovely service, not awesome food.
Gorgeous hotel. Very comfy beds. Amazing service and great food + drink. Not the best hotel pool but it was ok. Oh and don’t order a pinacolada at the pool. They were horrible lol and they tried to remake it a few times.
I visited The Peninsula for the brunch buffet on New Years Eve. The festive decorations were a nice touch. Staff was very kind and professional when directing me to The Belvedere. The bathrooms were well attended, clean and pristine.
So I visited the Belvedere inside the peninsula hotel. Let me tell you that its worth every dollar spent on the brunch buffet. Its not cheap, but they offer quality seafood selection. Very nice and tasty.
The place just screamed, fragile white people. I couldn’t even. Had to stay in a more fun part of town, away from the 10,000 police cars that police this small strip of road.
I think they have the best consierge I have ever seen in my stays all around the globe.Another great service of the hotel is the town car, an RR that takes you around if you are going in the surroundings, Rodeo Drive, etc.Breakfast was awesome. I am not a cereal person for breakfast but I can not forget their home-made granola still after 5 years. Superb fuits too but guess LA is lucky for the best fruits?All staff member is great, you feel like being cared for. Will definetely stay here the next time I am in LA.

Very beautiful hotel with a very kind and attentive staff. I came here for an event and the lunch spread catered by the hotel was delicious and the decorations were done beautifully. Unfortunately parking in the area was limited, but their valet service was professional and attentive.
The High Tea is special in December. There is a harp & a piano, a lit Menorah & a lit Christmas tree, and a glowing fireplace. Our server had a wonderful sense of humor. Lots of little treats in the towers plus fresh cut strawberries.They raised the prices but they added more finger foods.
Came here for a massage and was one of the worst and most embarrassing experiences I have had. Came here with a friend and the masseuse walked in with a major attitude from the get go. Her name was Esther and she should really think about changing her career.. I walked into the room and she started yelling at me saying to pull my mask over my nose or I need to get out. Walking through the lobby and the restaurant no one was wearing a mask. How could anyone enjoy a massage laying face down with a mask on their face . Even If I decided to wear it I would not want someone with this kind of attitude touching me... great facility and check in with staff but that is where the good experience ended!
Had a work lunch on the rooftop terrace. Service was very slow (about 2 hours for lunch), but food and drinks were good once they arrived. Disaster almost struck with server dropping a container of mustard on me, but somehow nothing got on me.
High tea was lovely. Only downside was the requirement for everyone to order the whole tea. There is so much food it could easily be shared
I ran away in real terror, and even telling the staff that i was being harassed and terrorized brought no help whatsoever. i left so many belongings behind in my fear, and when i sent them messages letting them know i had left them and wanted them back, no one still ever replied. since when does a hotel terrorize their guests and pretend it didn’t happen? all my things, including important personal documents are still with them. this was the most terrifying stay at a hotel, or anywhere else, that i have ever experienced or even heard of before. how is what happened legal? i think is most certainly is not, and am in the process of finding out exactly what my rights are here, as i believe they have been grossly violated.

No detail is too small for the staff to help with. Service is attentive without being pushy, overbearing, or snooty. The monogrammed pillow cases are a over the top example of how much thought they put into your stay.
The Peninsula Hotel is my favorite Hotel to sleep and this was my 12th time in Beverly Hills. The beds are super comfy. The best sleep I have ever gotten at a hotel in Los Angeles has been here. I got a suit that was remodeled. Everything in our room sparkled. The staff was nice and helpful. from the greeter in the lobby, front desk attendants to the cleaning people everyone was attentive and guided me in the right direction when help was needed. My dress suit need to get some work done and was able to get it fixed without leaving my room a tailor came to me, now thats service. Inside the Hotel is the restaurant Belvidere which make some amazing burgers that are stacked with goodness of ingredients and flavor. My favorite is the cheeseburger with blue cheese.

I am making significant high income with very strong business background. I stayed at the hotel almost a month this year(2016), I feel the people work there have problem, their parents didnt teach them well, especially the manager Offer. I can tell he is low class and stupid with attitude. I am sure you would dislike the people there. When I was talking to my client waiting for burger. The manager was screaming, talking loud at the lobby. I complaint to the front desk. The next day. The manager Offer was mad about my complaint and he made very loud noise when he walked behind me next day. I decided to complaint to the managing partner in China/Hong Kong about Offer should be fired. If you want to complaint, you should talk to the headquarter in China/Hong Kong/France, dont talk to the Beverly Hills location, they would cover each others mistakes because they need a job.I am living in Bel Air. I stayed at the hotel in Feb & April 2014 and Feb & April 2015 for business. I feel weird about the people work at the hotel, their parents didnt teach them well. They like to open your room door even though you turn on the dont disturb light. You can tell people without brain managing the hotel in Beverly Hills. The hotel looks pretty, its because the managing partner from China/Hong Kong has good taste.You can only use this place for business, dont let them take advantage of you. When they see you are doing well, they may ask for help or doing favor. They may want to know more about your business, want to do the same thing you do. You can sense they are from lower level and never look at the mirror to see who they are.Hotel Bel Air has better food, use a lot of white people. Beverly Hilton has normal people working there. They are not stupid with attitude.
High tea at the peninsula bh was exquisite. The harpist plays while you enjoy savory and sweet delicacies. The scones are excellent with the cream and lemon curd. Great location to celebrate or relax for an afternoon!
The service here is subpar compares to Ritz or Four Seasons. And also it seems this hotel has management problem. I valeted my car here, I was asking them to check if there is a cellphone on the car. No update since I called them second time after one hour. I was asking for an iron, it takes an hour for them to deliver.Try Waldorf if you really want to stay in this area.

The peninsular is one of the finest establishments in the world. Mr Scott Burger has an eye for detail and does everything in his ability to provide the greatest service possible for the clients residing within the hotel. The concierge service on hand works around the clock to ensure every request is met in a timely fashion. Mr Jim Assee is an enthusiastic young man who looks after guest relations and is always avaible to ensure the guest feels comfortable through there stay. Overall the peninsular is the greatest hotel on the west coast due to its customer service and beautiful charm.
High tea at the Living Room is my favorite way to treat myself! Nothing better than kicking back on a couch nibbling on scrumptious miniature sandwiches with gorgeously teensy garnishes. Great service!
Although never spent the $600 a night for a room, I have been to several events here. The property is meticulous, staff very genuine, and decor makes you forget in the middle of LA. When I get a room, I will give 5 stars!
The service was very friendly to the degree where they take the effort to remember who you are if youre a returning customer. I ordered the alcoholic frozen lemonade and the lobster blt which were to die for. At the end of the day the Peninsula was the highlight of my day.

The toilets here are uncomfortable. Theyre made for giants, my feet barely reached the floor. Considering the natural position is squating, the toilets here are the opposite of ergonomic. Its nice that they provide real towels instead of paper towels, thats classy. Its kinda lame that you have to walk through the restaraunt to use the pooper, foo foo dinners all raising their eyebrows at you.

This place is way over rated, its a racial profiling environment, I felt so discriminated agains my ethnicity, this is supposed to be a prestigious 5 star 5 diamond hotel yeah right I have stayed at the montage hotel and there the staff is definitely more personalized with their service. They are willing to go one step further for their guests such a wonderful hotel I definately recomment the Montage Hotel they deserve to be 5 star not peninsula also prices are way to high for a dirty room the bedsheets were dirty toilet was dirty it smelled aweful god if I stay at a motel its better than this peninsula hotel please for your own sake dont come to this ugly hotel.

A gorgeous property with all of the trimmings you would expect from the combination of The Peninsula and Beverley Hills. Great bar in which you can always strike up a conversation. The Belvedere is a bit of a conservative favourite - with a menu that seems a bit dated.

There is also a 4,600 sq ft (430 m2) spa at The Peninsula. Located next to the Spa is a Fitness Center and a 60 feet (18 m). pool surrounded by 12 cabanas. As well as the Belvedere, the hotel has two other restaurants, the Living Room and the Roof Garden.There is also a separate bar called The Club Bar.
Food quality, customers service and ambiance are wonderful, but the table is too small that l am feeling very uncomfortable.

Wonderful, top level hotel in Beverly Hills and LA. Great staff, prime location. Service, restaurants, SPA, pool - everything is very good, pleasure to stay!

Clean and very courteous service. Priced fairly but my only gripe is its easy to miss the entrance on the busy street its on.
Lovely hotel, intimate. Good location - close enough to the action, but the neighborhood is not busy or loud. Attentive, personalized service.
This classic property is a gem. I attended a lunch meeting on the patio. Every aspect of the service for lunch was spot on. The salad special with watercress was delicious.
I had the worst experience at this hotel specially with this valet guy being disrespectful to me and start cursing at me and tapped on my car very hard just to move away from the driveway while when I was waiting on somebody and I wasn’t even blocking any traffic behind me, the entire stuff supposed to be professional but this guy chosen to cross the line and started using bad language at me just to drive forward he could have asked nicelyI am not happy at all and I will never stay at this hotel again in my life
Love the customers service I went to celebrate my anniversary at the roof top and everybody was nice with us, food was really good .

This gem in the heart of the city exceeded all my expectations.First and foremost, the staff deserves a special mention. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel like royalty. They went above and Beyoncé to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable.The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed. The attention to detail in every aspect of the room, from the plush bedding to the stunning bathroom amenities, is a testament to the hotels commitment to excellence.

2023-11-02 06:06:16My wife and I stayed at the Peninsula as the first stop of our honeymoon.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The things that stood out were the attentiveness of the staff (especially the concierge that helped make restaurant bookings), the smooth airport pickup, the cleanliness of the room and the free use of their hotel cars (Rolls Royce, BMW). The lunch at the rooftop restaurant was also great.We thought the breakfast could be improved as it was not the same level as the lunch in the rooftop restaurant. Similarly, the pool area was underwhelming. The gazebos have private TVs and Bluetooth speakers which give it a feeling of a pre game tailgate rather than a five star hotel.Those are minor details in an otherwise fantastic stay!

The Check-in experience gave us a perfect introduction to how awesome this place is. We lounged by the pool where the service was friendly and they tirelessly worked to help us relax. Had drinks at the bar with attentive bartenders. Breakfast was solid with (you guessed it) excellent service.The grounds are very welcoming. We loved looking at all the art. The beds are heavenly. The resort felts comfortable and active. People having bridal showers and others having tea brings a quiet exuberance.Everyone is so dang nice, I could stay here forever.

2023-10-26 10:41:31This hotel is new and has nice curb appeal, with irrigated lawns and a clean parking lot. There is also a nice sitting area to the west of the building with a BBQ.Check-in was ok. The front desk person answered all of my questions but did not offer any common check-in information such as breakfast times, wifi password, and pool hours. The lobby is beautiful and spotless! I think there was someone in the lobby/foyer cleaning every time I went through.The room was spacious, well laid-out, and very clean. The linens and towels were perfect. There was a large HD TV that had a good selection of channels. The room was also very quiet. We did not hear other guests or the elevator, despite the hotel being very busy and our room near the lift.Breakfast was great. The selection and quality of the food was definetly above-average for a hotel. The man caring for guests at breakfast was professional, friendly, and kept the food trays stocked and coffee fresh. He obviously took pride in his work.My only real issue with the hotel was the pool area. The pool and waterside itself are very nice. However, there was hair EVERYWHERE. It was gross. In the water, on the floor, up the stairs to the waterside, ect. It was bad the evening we went for a swim, and it had not been cleaned when we went back the next morning.

2023-08-03 01:32:47Unethical…..I am a pervious guest of the peninsula hotel and the Unethical Management of this hotel used my passport copy and my Personal photo without my consent to be used by the security to kick me out of the hotel if I don’t leave immediately just because one of their valuable clients told them he don’t like to see me around the hotel with no any valid reason at all I mean where is the Clients Privacy where is the professional service any ethics at all ?? I’ve been almost 10 years visitor of this hotel kicked out by the same person who used to welcome me every visit. She is very bias very unprofessional very racist and rude because she is loyal to the higher tipper. Shame on u

2023-06-11 12:40:24Favorite luxury hotel HANDS DOWN!!I’ve stayed at the the Peninsula many times over the past five years and it’s consistently a luxurious experience.The staff (especially a pool service attendant- I’m regrettably blanking on his name! Will update when I remember) are incredibly attentive, memorizing orders and preferences making sure you’re well taken care of.The rooms are incredibly immaculate and beds are very comfortable.I visit the hotel for work so am often there all day by the pool or Belvedere garden restaurant, or ordering room service and the food is spectacular! Japanese breakfast, shrimp with arugula salad and dim sum are at the top of my list.

2023-11-17 20:34:30Very good hotel, very bad parking service in front of the door, the customers are very dissatisfied and give us many complaints and dissatisfaction, we know that your regulation should not exceed 10. Minutes, but bad management and disappointment... I will not advise the guests to remember this next time, the other manager is very professional and kind, worth learning and communicating with... Tipping is not compulsory, but the customers initiative to give, but also the recognition of service, I hope this Luiige can change his attitude and service method.
